I was so excited.. but disappointed
I was so excited, this is the first time I've ordered a piece from VB, and I've heard she is fastidious about quality....but I was so disappointed!
It felt like a delivery from Next. There was one sheet of tissue that the dress was wrapped around and the dress was a crumpled mess.
I had just expected it to be lined and was so shocked that it wasn't.

Amazing in store service!!! Welcoming, knowledgeable staff and super friendly and charming. In store tailor absolutely wonderful too. So happy.
My only critique would be that I had to chase (phoning and emailing store) to find out when my order would be ready. I never received any response so just had to turn up and hope for the best. Phone goes straight to voicemail which is a little frustrating.

Beautiful clothes BUT inexperienced staff with poor customer service skills. Very unwelcoming and not engaging, they seem to lack the most basic knowledge of retail.
Poor layout, everything crammed in one corner, changing rooms dark, badly positioned mirrors.
A very disappointing experience, I expected a lot more.
However, Jack, the tailor very professional and kind.

The outfits I chose were exactly as they have been marketed on the website. The service was great and personable. I had alterations done and the urgency was accommodated.

Polite and professional but still lots to learn
Spoke to Kathlene by WhatsApp and my return and subsequent exchange process were faultless. However, once in store I felt I spent a lot of time waiting for Kathleen to come up. Then, once I was trying on the trousers, I was left waiting for too long in the changing room. She was polite and professional at all times but kept disappearing downstairs and taking ten minutes to come back up again in between putting on the original trousers and then exchanging sizes and colours. I’m not sure if she was dealing with another customer at the same time, but I felt forgotten and left hanging around for way too long. Having just come from a fitting in Balmain, there is still a lot to learn in terms of making the client feel special.
