I purchased a dress from Victoria…
I purchased a dress from Victoria Beckham and paid approximately £120 for expedited alterations, rather than the standard alteration service which would have cost around £70, because I was specifically assured that the dress would be ready in time for my event.
Unfortunately, the dress was not delivered the next day as expected. Instead, it arrived two days later, which meant I was unable to wear it to the event for which I had purchased it. As a result, I had to urgently buy another dress at the last minute.
I was very disappointed by this experience. Not only did I pay a significant premium for expedited alterations, but the service was not delivered within the promised timeframe. I was also not offered a refund of the difference between the expedited and standard alteration fees.
The dress itself is beautiful, but the purpose of paying for the faster service was so that I could wear it to a specific event. Unfortunately, that did not happen, and to this day I have not had the opportunity to wear the dress.
I had expected a much higher level of service from a luxury brand and was disappointed by the lack of accountability when the agreed timeline was not met.

I had the best experience
I had the best experience. I popped in to buy some lipstick and ended up getting all my make-up done with an amazing make-up artist who was so lovely. I walked out with lots of make-up, feeling a million dollars and a much better understanding of how to wear make-up !

And now I can say I have a collaboration with Victoria! I wanted the Finite Belt in darker colours but with a silver-tone buckle and tail (B frame), so I purchased three in the Magnesium colour, took them to a cobbler, and asked him to dye them Black, Dark Brown, and Burgundy—creating an exclusive edition just for myself.
They turned out so well! It was a bit of a hassle, but totally worth it.
I wish Victoria would start tapping into menswear soon so I could wear her clothing line too—not just the accessories and bags.

Good luck shopping with VB. They have taken 560 euro out of my account for an order that THEY cancelled and even though I have produced an authorization code from my bank, they are still refusing to give me my refund.

I found the returns process very very difficult.
A simple Royal Mail returns label would have been so much easier.trying to find a yellow parcel post box never even seen one before, only to find they were all full . 4 hours later used DPD , not a local facility for me. Really disappointed, very reluctant to order anything again

The dress was disappointing
The dress was disappointing. Very wrinkled when it arrived and no shape. I have mailed it back with the label VB sent me. Told to put it in a plastic bag. As this was my first time returning a parcel, I left a voice mail by phone as well as an email asking if they could confirm that it should be shipped back in a plastic bag and to provide details. No one contacted me directly to answer the question. I just got another email saying they approved my return. I mailed it almost two weeks ago and still have not received confirmation that the parcel has arrived at Victoria Beckham.

I bought the Posh Balm in Colette after…
I bought the Posh Balm in Colette after seeing an ad that claimed it would last for hours, that hair wouldn't stick to it, and that the tube had a satisfying clicking mechanism. Those claims were a big reason behind my purchase.
The colour itself is beautiful, which is why I decided to keep it despite my initial disappointment. I also have to give credit where it's due: the balm does last a long time.
However, I was disappointed by the packaging. The mechanism only twists one way, so once you turn the product up, you can't twist it back down. I found this out while trying it at the store and was told that's how it's designed. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of twisting up too much product, and I don't find this design practical.
Overall, Colette is a gorgeous shade with impressive staying power, but the packaging and some of the marketing claims left me disappointed.
