Atrocious scam company
Atrocious scam company. They refused to give me a refund after I signed up to the app. They keep telling me that they’ve stopped my future subscriptions and they’re asking for feedback, but they’re refusing to give me back the money that I’ve already paid. In the UK we have the consumer rights act 2015 which allows customers to get their money back for any reason within a 14 day period. I’m not under any obligation to specify a reason to them, but the reason was that despite me stating that I’m a vegan during signup, the app still recommends meat dishes to you. The ingredients are elaborate and overcomplicated. When I ask for a refund, they're telling me that they’re willing to give me three months free period - why the hell would I want that when I said I don’t like the app already? Give me my money back.
*Edit 1: Reply to your response. You said that your agents operate according to the company's policy but your company's policy are not in keeping with the law. If you were indeed operating legally, then you would respect the consumer rights act 2015 which gives customers a right to a refund for any or no reason within 14 days. But you force your customers to jump through hoops, and there is a really strange policy on your website which says that they have to have used the app for at least 14 days before they can be considered for a refund and then they have to have a back-and-forth debate with you and I can see from most reviews that you refuse to refunds. I've already told you that I’m not interested in any kind of incentive... all I’m interested in is getting my money back which you are refusing to do. You confirm that you’ve cancelled future subscriptions but you have refused to give me back the money that’s already been paid. Luckily, I paid by PayPal so they’re helping me get my money back.

Unexpected Charge Without Active Subscription”
I initially looked into Unimeal last year but never proceeded with a subscription. The last communication I received from them was on 4 July 2025, outlining pricing for a first month. I did not move forward, was never actively using any meal plan, and no money was ever taken from my account after that.
Out of nowhere, I woke up on a Sunday morning to find $46 deducted from my account without any recent notification, reminder, or active engagement from me. I have not received services, meal plans, or any ongoing support that would justify this charge.
I have now contacted them requesting a full refund and immediate cancellation. Taking money without clear ongoing consent or recent communication is unacceptable.
Based on my experience, I would advise others to be very cautious and carefully review any subscription terms before entering payment details.

Es handelt sich um eine Abofalle. Das Basis Abonnement soll einen individuellen Ernährungsplan beinhalten. Tatsächlich ist es aber nur eine Sammlung von Rezepten, welche nichts mit den im Vorfeld angegebenen Ernährungswünschen zu tun haben. Abo Kauf doppelt verrechnet
ich habe heute ein Abo gekauft für zwölf Wochen für 21.01 Fr. sehr gutes Angebot. Aber leider ist ein zweites dazu gebucht worden, ohne dass ich das aktiv bestellt habe für 23 Fr. und nun will Uni Mail mir dieses Abo nicht zurück erstatten. Ich bekomme immer schnell Antwort, aber sie vertrösten mich mit längeren Laufzeiten und ein Jahr gratis und bla bla bla aber sie stehen nicht zu diesem technischen Fehler und ich bekomme mein Geld nicht zurück Finger weg.

I subscribed to Unimeal for a few months and then I decided to cancel my subscription, which I did.
However a payment of £59.99 came out of my bank account over a month ago.
I disputed this with the company and have emailed Stella Adrian and several other people to request a refund and to date nobody has had the common decency to respond back to me and I still haven’t received my refund which I find unacceptable.
They were very happy to take my money and yet they are disrespecting my integrity.

A la hora de cobrar te ponen en la página de la compra un importe y cuando lo aceptas te cobran 60,49€ más porque dicen que yo he contratado a un coach cuando yo no lo solicité en ningún momento. Tened mucho cuidado y no paguéis nada porque os van a cobrar un importe altísimo y después no os van a reembolsar nada, te dicen que la ley de su política no te permiten el reembolso.

Je sais que j'aurais dû mieux vérifier, mais toujours est-il que cette société est commercialement douteuse, et je vous conseille de bien vérifier vos retraits sur vos comptes... Il existe de multiples sociétés proposant les mêmes services et qui sont nettement plus respectueuses de leurs clients, donc je vous conseille d'éviter Unimeal. Pour ma part, cette société a retiré plus de 2000€ sur mon compte sans que jamais je n'ai utilisé leurs services ! Et malgré mes demandes, aucune vérification n'a été faite pour savoir si oui ou non j'avais utilisé leurs services et leurs réponses types m'ont simplement envoyé sur les roses en se cachant derrière des réglements. Ils m'ont même refusé un remboursement partiel ! Dans le même temps, j'ai eu le même souci avec un téléphoniste et j'ai au moins pu discuter et obtenir un remboursement. Moralité : Evitez cette société qui ne distribut que du vent et qui ne respecte en rien ses clients !
Je rajoute un ligne pour signaler que ces gens m'ont remboursé 2 mensualités qui représente à peine 7% du préjudice ! Une aumône...Bref, passez votre chemin

Hatte Probezeitraum gebucht, das Abo konnte ich nirgendwo finden und somit auch nicht kündigen. Ohne Information wurde es verlängert und der dreifache Betrag abgezogen, daraus lernt man, aber kundenfreundlich ist das nicht!

Abo abschließen easy, aber wehe man kündigen will. Anstatt man die Kündigung akzeptiert, versuchen sie einen digital zu überreden. Nach langem Hin und Her Kündigungsbestätigung erhalten, trotzdem buchen die Kosten erneut ab.

@Unimeal - Danke für ihr Verständnis, aber davon kann ich mir nichts kaufen. Getreu dem Motto - Wer schreibt der bleibt! Nicht um sonst ist vor Kurzem ein neues Gesetz in Kraft getreten, dass es uns erleichtern soll einfacher zu kündigen, weil es solche Unternehmen wie euch gibt!

These people are unbelievable. Once you enroll, they’re like an octopus. They won’t let you go. Continuous AI generated nonsense about keeping you tied to their plan and refusing to refund your money even if you’ve only been involved in it for one or two days. They’re despicable.

Está aplicación veo que está bien pensada y al rellenar el test inicial, les permite evaluar el objetivo del usuario. En mi caso la organización de las comidas me funciona perfectamente, desde el minuto uno, empiezo a lograr mi objetivo.
