Don’t look any further-this is the company to help you find an apartment in Spain!! I worked with Ana Alonso Mendez to find an apartment for my daughter and her friend who will be studying in Barcelona starting in January. After discussing our needs, Ana presented me several options to choose from with videos and information about the area. She was incredibly responsive to my many questions and made a difficult task actually pleasant! She found the girls a very nice and safe apartment and we couldn’t be more thrilled. I cannot recommend her enough!!

I had an excellent experience with UKIO when renting an apartment in Barcelona. The booking process was quick and easy. The listing was perfectly accurate (photos and description were correct). Customer service was responsive and helpful, especially Alejandro.

The entire rental expience was smoth anf without any problem.

Move into the apartment was flaw lessly easy once we understood the process. Support from UKIO when needed was excellent.

The appartment was appropriately as outlined in the pre-rental fotos and we found all in perfect order excep the there was a preexisting sever crack in the in the upper right hand quater of the counter top coocking elememnts and some very slight damage to the glass covering the lower burner in the right hand quater. We have taken photos of these damages . However the cooking elements work perfectly and function properly - so we have full use.
As this is our first experrienc e with UKIO and the UKIO team we are happy to report a high level of satisfaction which I trust we shall be able to confirm at the end of our about 3 months from now in 2026.

The only thing I really didn’t like was the deposit that you paid, it’s quite a lot and the administration fee

My son Lorenzo is studying in Barcelona since August and renting an apartment named Junia from Ukio. This has been a very pleasant experience with all the support that has been given to us from the whole staff, specially Alfred, a very kind and caring person who since the beginning, was my point person and the one whom we made the reservation with. The help desk has been very responsive and helpful every time we need to fix or repair something. Ukio has a very experienced and attentive staff. Overall a great experience.

I love the style of the apartment — it feels tranquil and thoughtfully designed to match the vibe of the city. The service has also been excellent: always reachable and very friendly. Overall, it’s been a great experience.

I posted a review on October 15, 2025, describing a theft incident that occurred during my stay in a Ukio apartment and sharing my concerns about how the company handled it.

What happened immediately after that review was published is, at the very least, highly irregular. Within just a few days, between November 3 and November 7, 2025, the Ukio Trustpilot page received more than 20 new five-star reviews, all marked as “unprompted” (not invited by the company).
Most of these came from brand-new profiles with only one review and used nearly identical language — phrases like “great service,” “very professional,” and “excellent support.”

This sudden spike represents a 500%+ increase compared with the company’s normal monthly activity (previous months showed only a handful of reviews — e.g., 4 in February, 3 in May, 5 in August). Despite this, the company’s share of one-star reviews remained roughly the same (13–16%), suggesting that the overall TrustScore was lifted primarily by this short-term wave of 5-star posts.

I’m not claiming these reviews are fake, but the timing and pattern are striking. The flood of positive feedback appeared almost immediately after my critical post, which makes the situation at least suspicious.
I’ve reported these observations directly to Trustpilot’s integrity team, as transparency is crucial for protecting users and ensuring the platform reflects genuine experiences.
