Extremely poor experience with this bank.

Good luck trying to get an appointment with a Mortgage advisor - and if you do you will be fobbed off to self-service or telephone appointments.

Unhelpful customer service, extremely dismissive, confrontational and unsupportive.

Strongest recommendation to avoid - literally choose any other bank in the UK.

Terrible wait times just to get a card unblocked. When I eventually got through there was a series of absolutely ridiculous questions. The money was for a pension contribution which I stated. Then he wanted to know what I got back in return and when! I said it was none of his business. Still on the line waiting, even after giving information - must have been over 10 questions AFTER they have established my identity.

One of the worst banks I have ever been with

I am extremely frustrated with TSB for blocking my card while I was trying to make a genuine payment using my own money, despite me already approving the payment.

I then received a text saying my card had been temporarily blocked because of an “unusual pattern” in my spending and that I needed to call to get it working again. What is the point of approving a payment if I still have to chase the bank to use my own card?

I understand the need for fraud prevention, but this has caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience and wasted time. The way this has been handled is ridiculous.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise everyone to stay away from this bank. TSB is one of the worst banks I have ever been with, and this experience has seriously damaged my confidence in its service.

Complaint reference: 10282916. TSB, investigate this properly, explain why my approval was insufficient and urgently resolve the block on my card. I expect a meaningful response rather than a generic explanation.

Five stars for Maxi at TSB Greenford! She gave me such a warm welcome and was incredibly patient and helpful. Although I walked in without an appointment, she took the time to explain everything clearly, offer detailed advice and get things sorted for me. Thank you, Maxi, for your time, care and excellent service!

Great customers service helped me make a bank account for me staff was extremely nice and service was spot on would visit again if I need a saving account opened

NEVER EVER get a Lloyds TSB Credit Card.
You sign a direct debit to pay the monthly balance and if it falls on a weekend, they automatically delay the payment to the following week and then report you for a late payment..
When you try to switch to another credit card, you cannot because you have a bad payer credit record!

On my daily walk I noticed the TSB pod in wood Green I popped in to enquire about opening a current account, It was done on the same day, fairly quick & hassle free. I'm happy with the service provided by Corrine & Lateef.

Firstly our TSB Bank in GRIMSBY, is still open to the public thank goodness.

You really can't beat being able to have a face to face talk with an advisor. I detest trying to discuss my finances over a phone...or to an idiotic machine!

Secondly, all the staff at Grimsby are incredibly helpful. I always have questions to ask, or need a simpler explanation regarding my finances, and the staff patiently, and in an understanding way, help me underdtand everything.

I have had a 0% credit card with TSB for six months and wanted to discuss raising my limit. I was pleased to discover that the appointment could be done on Teams so I didn't have to worry about transport or parking.
This morning I met with Janet Limond on Teams and the meeting went very smoothly. Janet was warm and approachable as well as being efficient and knowledgeable. Everything was sorted out without any bother and I am so impressed with the level of Customer Service that I might even open a current account with them in the near future.

I visited the Ipswich branch, 16 Buttermarket, IP1 4BG today.

My intention was to just pay in a cheque and go, at the counter I spoke to Sian, she noticed that I had old style legacy current and savings accounts, which possibly weren't as good as they had been when I opened the accounts 10 years ago.

She explained in a very professional, friendly way and without any sales pitch, that there were newer style accounts that would possibly fit my needs more precisely.

A phone appointment was made in the branch for me to speak to Heather in the afternoon.

When Heather phoned she again explained the different accounts available very simply and without any pressure.

The switching of the accounts was seamless and painless.

I would recommend to everyone,Sian, Heather and all the team at the TSB Buttermarket, Ipswich Branch

This bank is an absolute joke staff are absolutely useless on line or to call dont help at all made a complaint over 4 months ago but there no timescale on useless staff members that sit round doing nothing all day worst bank ive used will be looking at leaving and everyone eles should to

Very good service, polite staff. Naveed from Saltley Branch was amazing, he helped me review my accounts and showed me the bigger picture 10/10 cant complain.

I contacted the customer service line this morning as I had transactions that I did not recognise. I spoke to a lovely lady called Phillipa, who was friendly, extremely helpful and resolved my issue very quickly. She confirmed what she had done and what would happen next. I cannot applaud her enough for making a worrying situation to a quickly resolved one. Phillipa is an asset to your company.

I would like to say massive thanks to all the members of the staff at kirkcaldy high street especially Mandy Stuart Ben Jack and callum. They are brilliant stuff always happy with customer i am so happy for the service I am been given by them again much appreciated well done guys
