These coffee wood dog chews are absolutely wonderful and just as described. The wood fibers become soft while the dogs chew them, so I have no concerns about splinters. I expect my lighter chewers will have theirs around for a while. My destroyer chooses these wood chews over anything else, and while they aren't going to last forever with him, he leaves the other wooden objects in the house and yard alone now. I will absolutely buy these again.

Our 4 month old GSD took to it IMMEDIATELY & chewed for a long time. She really enjoys it, & I love that it’s safe & great for her teeth & gums.

I learned about Puppy Harbor when looking for bone alternatives online. I have a 3 year old lab that loves to chew. We purchased a couple sticks which took awhile to get to us. Shipping seemed kind of slow but im not sure where they came from. Our dogs were not interested in them at first but have slowly warmed up to them over the past week. We also have a Yak bones they chew on and they seem to prefer that much more. Hopefully they will continue to chew more on the stick so I can get rid of the Yak bone.

I bought three sticks for my dogs . In less than 1 day they had splintered and I took pictures took them away from my dogs and send a email with the pictures. They offered me a 30 percent refund !! Seriously my dogs had the sticks for less than a day, this is a con artist company and I will not be buying from them again! Disgusted that I wasted my money and o don’t feel there products are safe for dogs .

We have two miniature schnoodles who LOVE to chew as a pastime. They stay away from shoes and furniture thankfully but toys and bones get a workout. Thought we would give these Kofibones a try and the verdict is in. They both love them and will choose these over anything else. Best thing, we don’t worry about splinters or shards that could mean costly vet bills. They last well too! Shipping was prompt and communication was great. Will order again ! Well done Puppy Harbor!

These Vietnamese coffee sticks ABSOLUTELY chip and shatter! They do not fray as advertised, and they do not “digest”. I found significant evidence in my dogs poop! I’m afraid that he will end up with a perforated esophagus, stomach, or bowel!

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. I never like to write bad reviews, especially if the company eventually takes care of me, but I would have not pushed like I did had I not read reviews of other people. I feel it's the right thing to do to share my experience. I fell for a sob story advertisement, and I should have trusted my gut. While the story mentioned that it wasn't an ad, the post was listed by Facebook as an ad. I went for it anyway after reading about the person's dog that had passed due to ingesting something from another bone/chew toy. The shipping on these bones took a while, but I was understanding about it. Once they arrived, they were extremely small. I realized at that point that something was up with this company. I searched Puppy Harbor and found bad reviews by 27% of the reviewing audience. They stated that the bones splintered and that it was extremely difficult to get a refund. I was torn on what to believe, but even if I trusted that these bones may LOOK like they're splintering but they're breaking down like they should, I was disappointed in the size for what I paid. I went to the website and noticed that the image did not change when I selected a different size. Not ONE dog on the entire website appeared to be chewing the small bone. They were all a decent size or BIG. It is very misleading. According to their return/refund policy, the chews must be unopened/not used/not damaged. Rather than taking a chance with splintering or even having a bone that cost at least $13 (because of the Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal) gone in 3hrs like other customers claimed, I decided I wanted to send them back for a refund. The customer service response was very quick and reassured me that the bones do not splinter and to just try them. I responded again stating I appreciate the reassurance, but I did not want to take any chances. The next response was not as quick. When I followed up, they told me their return facility was permanently closed, and they could not accept the items back. They again told me to try the bones. I told them I did not try the bones initially because THEIR policy says the bones must be unopened. And while they gave me permission to do so, they also tried to say I couldn't return them due to THEIR facility being closed. I told them this was not my problem, and they needed to abide by THEIR policy. They wrote back offering me a 40% refund and to keep the items. I was not happy, and again explained my feelings. They wrote back again saying their "final offer" was a 60% refund. I told them I would proceed with filing a fraud claim with my bank then because THEIR policy is very clearly written on their website along with a big "sticker" that says "30 Days Money-Back Guarantee." They finally said that they would issue a full refund, and that there was no fraud. I explained that charging me for an item that has a clear refund/return policy and not abiding by it and keeping my money is a form of fraud. In the end, I did get my refund, but I was not happy at all with the entire process. - Since I still could not send the bones back, I did go ahead and give my dog a bone and watched her closely. They do appear to splinter, but I believe the catch is the type of "wood." Apparently, it is not supposed to harm the dog. My dog was fine, but I do not plan to give her the other two as it still did not seem like material I wanted going down her throat or into her stomach. Also, she is a 7mo old Golden Retriever and the small bone was gone in about an hour.

Love the Kofibones! I have three large dogs and all of them are chewers. We were originally giving them the antlers, which I began to be concerned about due to the small shards and sharp edges. They would cough from time to time while chewing them! Then I gave them the Kofibones, they immediately took to the Kofibones and I LOVE how they do not have sharp edges or small sharp pieces that my dog may swallow and that would cause health issues. The edges of the Kofibone are softer and NO sharp edges. My dogs love them (and so do I)!!

I'm not going to lie, I was skeptical. Unsure about the wood promise, whether or not my dog would like it, and whether to trust a company that popped up on my social media, but everything was truly great. The entire experience was great. Sure it took a bit long to arrive, but I wasn't in a hurry at all. The best part is my boy loves that stick! That's what's truly important to me.

I left a review when our coffee bone first arrived but now that my pup has had it for a while, I need to update. He loves it! In fact I wind up taking it away periodically so he chews on one of his other chew toys. He’s finally getting some fiber to appear so he (and it) is doing just what he needs to.

My weimies love them. They aren’t heavy chewers not heavy chewers but they are into their bones several times a day. It gives me peace of mind that they have something safe to chew. Bye-bye nylabones!

The chews arrived quickly so that was a plus! Our little dog was excited at first and enjoyed a good chew and now he leaves it lying about and chews from time to time. It lasts a long time. Strangely, he allows us to touch it and play with him when he has it in his mouth but if he finds a good stick when we are out, he will hang onto it and growl if we try to take it from him. So, I assume he regards the koffee wood stick as a toy. I did think they are expensive but as they last a long time they are probably worth the money.

My power chewers love the bone: has taken the Doberman 10 days and he has shredded only half the large size, in tiny pieces so I do not fear for obstruction or vomiting as I had with rawhide, etc. And clean teeth, and joy because he is occupied and content. Quick service also.

Our dog loves the coffee wood. It was especially helpful when he was anxious from thunderstorms. He has a lot of anxiety so having something that he could chew on that lasted a longer than just several minutes was a game changer. And he saves it in his bed and comes back to it later!

While delivery was a bit long, Belle loves her ‘stick’ & it performs as advertised. Will be ordering more. Thanks Puppy Harbor

Everything about the information on the website was helpful. The ordering process was awesome. I love the look and feel of the coffee chew stick but unfortunately my dog does not love it. She has chewed on it occasionally but even when it began to fiber it really never grabbed her attention. At least not yet.

But that is not the company's fault.

Our dog loves this chew. It took awhile to receive it, but it’s worth the wait!
