The whole Nerva hypnotherapy 6-week block was very relaxing, enjoyable and restful. I enjoyed each daily 15 minute session mid morning and found each daily theme, such as Sunny Day, Floating or The Orchestra, refreshing and calming. The softly spoken voice allowed me to drift and almost imagine that I was floating like a cloud at times. I would recommend this type of health approach if you have digestive tract problems.

My reflections
I have done meditation before and had forgotten how effective it is. I am also a highly suggestive person and thus the hypnotherapy suggestions were very good for me. If I had a flare up, I could take my mind back to one of the sessions - together with some of the breathing techniques - to calm myself.

My symptoms have improved
My symptoms have improved. I had almost given up hope. I tried different foods even tried not eating!! My specialist recommended this and I am continuing to use it after batting years and years of terrible fatigue and being glued to the toilet

The Nerva app really works!
Doing the hypnotherapy through the Nerva app was easy to do, easy to follow too.
I believe regular sessions really helped the visceral sensitivity in my gut, relaxed me and improved regularity going to the toilet, stopped bloating and cramping.
I’m able to eat different foods now that previously had caused issues in my gut.

The hypnotherapy sessions are the best. I actually fell asleep listening to them. I don't have IBS, which this program is geared to. I have GERD and some of the sessions seem to be relevant, like the deep breathing. I may be interested in hearing more about your upcoming sessions for chronic pain. I have osteoarthritis and your program might be beneficial.

Nerva gave me hope
While I was reluctant initially, Nerva helped to give me a different perspective and put me at ease. Navigating new health challenges and diagnoses is difficult to navigate and Nerva provided an outlet to look forward to in the midst of my healing journey. Though it may take quite a bit of time and effort to continue feeling improvements, I am grateful for every small win. The breathing exercises truly do work and calm my nerves best at the end of each day. It allows me to hit a reset button - just by tuning in.

Nerva helped me.
I believe that alongside some other changes outside of Nerva, Nerva has been a main contributor to helping heal my daily life get back into balance. I truly believe that my brain-gut connection was so out of wack and I am grateful for this program created for so many people like me. I feel seen but also helped. Only thing that I wish I could have taken more apart of was the support, and communication during, and after with the Nerva staff as it seems it is based in Australia and I am in the United States. Nerva is something I have now…incorporated into my life.
Nerva is something I have now incorporated into my day/week, it’s given me a tool to self manage my stress and give me some reassurance that I can do something to help my symptoms. I look forward to doing Nerva if not daily at least 4-5 times a week, it’s a time I set aside for me. I’ve also enjoyed the educational component very much. Gut health hypnotherapy
I have always been a fan of hypnotherapy, and having checked that the NHS considers gut hypnotherapy to be effective, I signed up to Nerva.
I have to say that I have been very impressed. Hypnotherapy is an addition to my IBS treatments, along with medication and diet, and I think it has made a positive contribution to my gut health management. Nerva has also been a confidence booster, as IBS can be terribly demoralising.
