I enjoyed my city break to Madrid very much ,lovely hotel ,location was good ,the guide was very good & gave good recommendations of places to see & ways to get around.

Extremely well organised group travel with outstanding and knowledgeable guides. The itinaries totally capture the best things to do at each location.

Our Tour Guide, Carlotta, was fantastic. She looked after us all so well from start to finish and was a pleasure to deal with.
The hotel, the Adesso, was terrific for several reasons; the breakfast was excellent, as was the food in general as we took dinner in the hotel on one evening. The serving staff were so attentive without being intrusive and the meal was so enjoyable. Their overall most important asset is their wonderful Staff all of whom offered great hospitality. Another very important thing about the hotel is it's location. With every mode of transport, metro, bus, train, taxi being available within minutes walk of the hotel, one is never far from anything, particularly the centre of Rome and all the fantastic things it has to offer from culture, sight seeing, restaurants etc. We even fitted in a day trip to Tivoli by train. This was a very memorable holiday for all the right reasons, unlike the trip we took about two year's ago staying in the Albani Hotel. We would not have taken this holiday if the TD was still using that hideous hotel.
Thank you for this wonderful Rome holiday, it was a great experience.

Great solo trip to Egypt, April 26 with a large group of easy going people up for the craic. Group led by "Dodi". Everything went smoothly and any minor issues sorted out immediately. Dodi did a great job of managing the group and the entire tour with good nature and great local knowledge.
Highly recommend to anybody with Egypt and a nile cruise on your bucket list.

Our trip to Egypt was an amazing holiday and much more than we ever imagined. The organization was second to none and made things so easy and stress free and it allowed us to relax and enjoy the trip. Our tour guide Dodi was friendly, helpful and entertaining. His knowledge was truly remarkable. His pride in his Country and the History of Egypt was plain to be seen, overall he was a lovely man. Thanks again to Travel Department for a wonderful holiday.

My husband and i are just back from a trip to egypt organised by the Travel department Ireland. Is had been an amazing trip, more than we ever imagined and this was made possible by our wonderful guide Dodi. To give him a score of 10/10 is too low in my opinion. His knowledge of everything egyptian is amazing. His love for his country's history is mind blowing. He was there for us at all times and my husband and I will never forget our wonderful trip yo egypt. Thanks Travel department and thanks a million Dodi.

It's great to have all the tours arranged which means I don't have the hassle of organising them myself I'm always happy with the hotels and the food
If I have any complaints they are always dealt with immediately by the guide or the staff in the hotel

Just back from our DUBROVNIK trip, organised by Travel Department. A great experience from beginning to end, after nine years of no airport visits.
Many thanks to the friendly staff at the end of the phone - our first port of call.

All our trips were well organised. The trip to MOSTAR was an experience. Because it was so early in the tourist season, two of the Elaphite islands really had little to see, tho' thankfully one coffee shop was open. I'm sure in the summer, the island would be really busy.

KORCULA Island is well worth a visit - a beautiful place.

Our Guide –ENIS HRUSTIC was excellent. So helpful and accommodating and above all, patient ! Even organised our airport transfer coming home!
Do remember that Dubrovnik adheres to the 'old' airport rules regarding liquids etc- many of us lost our bottled water as we were not aware of this going thru customs. Do ask for the empty bottle back, as there are plenty of water stations to refill when you get through customs.

A great guide with a perfectly planned relevant itinerary for Egypt.

Just back from an amazing trip to Vietnam with the Travel Department. Such an experience with a wonderful guide Hung. Every hotel that we stayed in was exceptional with great food and great rooms. From day one, right until we arrived home in Ireland we were so well looked after and have made so many new friends and great memories. Can't thank Travel Department enough for this wonderful experience

I have travelled with the TD many times as a solo traveller of senior age. My last trip was Malta and the next one is Transalvania. Without exception from beginning to end the TD is amazing efficient committed to our enjoyment and care. They offer amazing trips full of history and exotic experiences and I love every one of them. Thank you TD.

A great holiday
Well organised

The flights were very early coming and going home. It was very tiring on the first day. When we got to the hotel most people got their keys straight away but we told we had to wait until 3pm. We had arrived there approx 11am Berlin time . So we missed some time of the trip while waiting for room key. Isabel our guide was lovely and knowledgeable. She was very friendly and warmhearted. The drivers were very good too. The shops were closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday . We had a city tour on Saturday and we visited the shops that day too. On Sunday there was no optional trip available so we went to mass and on a boat trip. On Monday morning our flight was very early again. It takes a lot from the trip when we were too tired to fully enjoy it. The hotel was lovely and the staff too. I would go again but later flights. The time in Ireland had gone forward the week before the trip and In Berlin we had to put our time forward another hour.

Just back from trip to Egypt. Excellent hotels and ship . Our holiday was made by our guide Dodi, he was excellent. Very knowledgeable, patient and efficient throughout the trip. Went out of his way to make sure we experienced everything promised!.

The people, the tours, the sun coming out. Visiting the beautiful Cascais, Lisbon and Nazare. The food and the delishicious custard tarts. The lovely reception staff and the very on the ball Manuel who organised the breakfasts for us. The hotel music theme on the bedroom walls was also very retro and funky.

Holiday in Tenerife was wonderful. Lovely tour guides, a feeling of safety in the location, delicious food and clean hotel.

Great destination. Great value. Knowledgeable guides. Enjoyable travel companions.
