TLS contact is a scam!!! I’ve been trying to get a refund for over a year for a prime time appointment booking (my appointment was during normal times). I’ve followed up over email over a dozen times and still haven’t received a refund. I left a previous trustpilot review - they told me to submit feedback and my reference number - I did and still did not hear back.

Absolutely horrible experience

Every member of staff was extremely rude, especially the person working at reception. I have honestly never been treated so badly in a place like this.

The level of customer service was completely unacceptable. Staff should not be treating families, especially those with children, with such a lack of respect and courtesy.

I was also sent a survey to rate my experience and provide feedback on the service. Interestingly, when I went to complete it on the very same day it was sent to me, I was already unable to access or complete the survey, which I found extremely disappointing and concerning.

I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve the way customers are treated in the future. It is completely unacceptable to have staff behaving in this way, particularly in a service used by families.

An absolutely horrible experience. I also find it very concerning that the UK government uses services where the standard of customer service can be this poor.

Really frustrating experience with TLScontact. I have been trying since Tuesday to get an application removed from my account, including calling several times and submitting the relevant form, and it still has not been done.

I also had to cancel an appointment because the visa category was wrong, but I was not able to get a refund, despite trying to correct the issue as soon as possible.

The website is confusing, the visa categories are unclear, and it is very difficult to get useful support when something goes wrong. The whole process has been unnecessarily stressful.

I am extremely disappointed with the TLScontact appointment booking system and customer service.
The website was not allowing me to book an appointment properly. I eventually managed to book an appointment after paying £65, but the appointment was automatically cancelled by the system.

As I needed to complete my biometric appointment, I had to go directly to the TLScontact centre, where I ended up paying another £130 to get an appointment.
I have since requested a refund of the original £65 because the appointment I paid for was cancelled, but I have received no proper response regarding my refund. In total, I had to pay £195 because of problems with the booking process, and I am still waiting for my £65 refund. The website and booking system seriously need improvement, and customer support should respond promptly when customers have payment or refund issues. This has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

Emily (at TLS Boston) helped us, step by step, with the complicated paperwork for our French visa. She was knowledgeable, professional, and very pleasant. It is a stressful process, and she helped us every step of the way. She knows the process inside and out, and she explained everything as we went through it. She made it less stressful with her professional, knowledgeable, and kind manner.

Is a scam, everything is built to rip you off. No practical information on their website, features on it don't work half of the time. Staff is useless, and broke EU law (will make a complaint to the German Foreign affair services). Disgusting...

I did an application 9 weeks before my flight date. got an appointment 3 weeks after my flight date. I had already paid flights and accommodation. All monies lost. when i phoned in to get answers, i was told there is nothing they can do and i need to follow the process. absolutely disgusting. Staff do not help and the application process is a mess.

My first appointment was for the 13/08/26 but I got sent away because I didn’t have the application forms I was told that it will cost me R1000 for an agent to help me fill one it’s took me 5min to fill the form not having it there couldn’t have been a reason to send us away the lack of professionalism I experienced then the lady at reception and she was quick to dismiss us assigning to reschedule and yet filling the form on my own laptop could have taken 5min and we could have submitted the application instead of sending us away and often with my previous application for Belgium bare in mind people come from long distance I even asked if the person after me could go in and I would take his place so I could fill the application form but I was declined , that was very inconsiderate and yet today it’s took 10min delay to attend to us for the appointment of 10:30. In that 10min delay one could have done so much.
Today I was asked to provide things that were not on the Germany required list, if you think you know better than us your clients then those additional should be put out on the required documents list.
I Am very disappointed I wish Germany and Belgium can take their business to vhs the service there is a lot better and professionalism is top I wouldn’t want to come back unless I have to…
Today the lady that attended to us was a lot better kind and professional but the company should get rid of the rotten inconsiderate ones, we are your clients after all we bring services to you so you should try by all means to keep a good relationship with all clients and I will share my experiences with rest of the world

Very poor service. The appointment booking system is unreliable and frustrating to use, making what should be a simple process unnecessarily stressful. Finding available appointments is a constant challenge.

What is even more disappointing is the customer complaint handling. Emails are not properly addressed, responses are often delayed, and there appears to be little accountability when customers raise genuine concerns.

For an organisation handling important applications, the level of customer service falls far below expectations.

I am incredibly disappointed. The location is difficult to find, there is zero signage in front of the building. I had to walk around the area back and forth to find the door. The online system to check visa status is practically unusable. I spent a significant amount of time trying to use it, only to be greeted by a frustrating "Host Error" message that kicked me out. It's 2026, this shouldn't be happening. The fee is not cheap.

There is a problem with the website. I couldn't make an appointment as I was not given the option to pay for it.
I tried many times.I called the callcentre this morning and held on for 50min before putting down the phone. I called the call centre later again and they had told me it had been cancelled by booking more than 3 times but I couldn't pay for the booking as it was stuck on the cart. I was told to redo the application for the Shengen Visa then re book. I did this but it did not help. I cant even get in to book an appointment now in spite of having redone the application as it said I already had a booking which I don't as I can't pay for it.
This has been so stressful and frustrating I have wasted so much time trying in vain.
All I want is a booking and to pay for it.

I had a good experience in their services. Everything is organized and the staff were all pleasant and made yoy feel comfortable. I highly appreciated Angel who checked on my documents. The whole ambiance of the office is also nice . Its not crowded so it was really comfortable. Thank you for a good service.
