Terrible service. I’ve been trying to create and account for days to book Italian visas. The system is not allowing me to create an account, tells me I’ve had too many attempts, creates a Dutch account or simply automatically verifies me as human leading to issues.

Our visa experience was disappointing. We applied on 15 Feb, attended our appointment on 27 March, but received the passport only on the day our trip was to begin (April 7), forcing us to cancel and lose non-refundable expenses. When we collected the passport on April 20, the visa was valid for just 15 days, expiring May 6, 2026, making it impossible to reschedule. This may deter us from future trips to Switzerland. We hope VFS Global addresses these concerns and improves their process.

Everything is wrong with this company. Couldn't book an appointment for a week, then had to wait for 3 weeks. Stood in the queue, only went in at the booked time to find out you were given a ticket and told where to go.
The waiting area was far to small. Hot because so many people waiting, not enough chairs. Too many people booked for the same time slot. Courier price highly inflated, use Royal Mail. Website keeps crashing so you can't track. What a greedy, unprofessional company.

Worst company ever.
We have been trying to book an appointment from Russia, but the available slots appear to be taken by bots and intermediaries. At the final stage, we are unable to confirm the booking, as the system repeatedly returns a “429: Failed to get response” error.

Their customer service is equally poor. They continue to send automated replies, resulting in a stream of useless emails. Issues are not resolved; instead, tickets are simply closed with a claim that the problem has been fixed.

Can i give it no star, like the highest disappointment for visa application. The customers are already frustrated with the papers and documents and website has it taken upon itself to give the customer a hard time, with all its glitches and low user friendly experience.

Gurpreet Kaur was very helpful during my appointment at VFS Hounslow today! There was an issue with my application form and she guided me on how to resolve it there and then.

Malheureusement la note "0" n'existe pas! J'ai déposé ma demande de visa pour le Canada, j'ai payé tous les frais, je n'ai jamais eu de retour. Je me suis déplacée jusqu'à Paris, presque 75€ dans les transports, tout ce qu'ils ont eu à me dire c'est d'attendre. Cela fait plus de 2 ans, j'attends toujours... Même pas de réponse négative, rien!!!! SERVICE MÉDIOCRE, À FUIRE....

I would like to share some positive feedback about Elsie at the VFS Global Hounslow branch.

I recently attended a passport renewal appointment, and Elsie provided excellent support from start to finish. Elsie was kind, patient, and reassuring throughout the process. She took the time to guide me through the missing information in my application and helped me understand exactly what was needed.

I was worried that my application might not go through and that I would need to come back for another appointment, which would have been very inconvenient. Elsie handled everything calmly and professionally, and thanks to Elsie’s support, I was able to complete the application successfully during the same visit.

I am very grateful for Elsie’s help. Elsie’s patience, professionalism, and kindness made a stressful situation much easier, and she made a real difference to my experience.

She is a real credit to your team.

I was on queue for 2.5 hours for biometric capture at Manchester. Crowded. No apologies from officials. I missed my booked train trip.

So crap, one of the worst websites I had used in my whole life. Keep glitching and logging me off. Just full of bs

I am trying to get an appointment with the VFS Edinburgh for dutch schengen visa. Its absolutely impossible to book an appointment through the website. It always shows not available.
It has been puting me off to travel to Europe. Its quicker and easier to travel to US, as one application which give us to travel 10 years.

In the meantime schengen visa to Spain is great, as they DONT go through VFS. It has its own office in Edinburgh for application, staight away got appointment. I got my spain schengen visa from application to receive my passport in 4 days.

Passport application at the VFS office went slow but OK however, the VFS application tracker doesn’t work and they don’t reply to questions send by email so we have no idea about the status.

I would give less than one star if possible. It is a total scam, its faulty website is hosted in the UAE rougue country, it couldn't be elswhere. Since two years ago, they keep blocking a friend of mine from Morocco about a 15-day tourist visa to Italy with my invitation and all the required documentation already uploaded. These are fraudsters legalised by bad governments, a creature of the rotten European Union for visa applications to the Shengen area. It should be shut down with all those working there jailed.

Attempting to renew an Indian passport through VFS has been a lesson in pure frustration. Their web infrastructure is fundamentally broken. When encountering errors, their 'Contact Us' page inexplicably hosts a 'demo version' that refuses to process transactions. It is baffling that a service utilized by millions relies on a placeholder site for customer support. To top it off, even the feedback mechanism is broken, leading only to 'Access Denied' pages. VFS is currently a barrier to service rather than a provider of it.

Le rdv etait rapide et fluide. Les agents et les agents d’accueil sont très souriants. Je suis passé avec Delphine elle est très dynamique, aimable et gentille.

One star because none is not an option.

Totally useless website. Confusing and their contact form don't even work. Tried different browsers, incognito mode, cleared ad block and allowed pop ups and still not able to submit it. USELESS,USELESS!!!!! Indian government needs to find alternative provider who is more organized and more competent. They do this forcing you to call them and they can then charge money for the service they provide.
