My decision to join Think Energy has been amazing. I live in a state where our previous energy provider would raise rates constantly. I'm glad Think Energy offers competitive rates and clean energy. Save money while saving Earth.

People in Corsican were helpful and kind. Took care of business. Told me I'd have electricy the same day. Then the power company called and said I needed to send them a lease agreement and a picture of my driver's license. After waiting twice for over 15 minutes. Said they wouldn't turn on until they looked over the information. Does all power companies spend this much time on every customer? Said they'd call me back. Never called. Worst I've seen of any power company.

The worst company ever had. They did not disconnect my account when I asked for cancellation. I lost all credits with my utility company. I had to call Think Energy many times for solution, they just ignored it and said they were not responsible for it. It was their fault, and they knew it, but they dealt with this unprofessionally. It was a totally disaster working with them. Avoid this company!

I have a good understanding about Think Energy .

I became a Think Energy electricity customer in the past few months (I can't wait until my state offers Community Solar). I received the letter from my incumbent advising I had been switched, and I see Think Energy reflected on my monthly bill. I like knowing I signed up for a 3 year term, when I hear all about how high electricity costs are going to go over the next year or more.

I switched to Think Energy last mounth and i'm pretty happy with my choice so far. There fixed-rate plan is cheaper than my old company and i like knowing my bill won't go crazy high out of nowhere.
The best part is they use clean energy, which makes me feel good about helping the environment. Signing up wasn't to hard, and when i had a question, their customer service got back to me pretty quick. They have this Free Energy Club thing that gives you money back, which is cool. It's only been a few weeks, so i can't say i've saved tons of money yet.

Legit company, better than my previous one!

No cost to save money on my electric bill. Glad we are able to participate.

Great support and help when you need it. Email faster than phone sometimes but they respond

Suggestions for ThinkEnergy to improve customer satisfaction. (1) My experience calling customer support was that sometimes nobody answered within 45 minutes (when I then gave up waiting), but other times it was not so long. (2) The Contact Us web page should allow for Chat contacts whereby we can see what place in line we are and thus judge how long a wait there might be. (3) The Customer Support phone response should provide a mechanism to allow us to choose an option to leave a message... which there seems to be if you press "1" while on hold, though the automated messages never tell us about that option. (4) ThinkEnergy should provide a web site accessible by NorthEast customers to login and check the status of their account, their contract, and the contract end date, usage, etc. as they do for their Texas customers.

Overall it took a number of weeks to switch to ThinkEnergy as a supplier which is longer than what I've experienced in other states, so if you are switching over, my suggestion is to be patient and wait for 4-6 weeks before confirming whether that has been completed by calling the power delivery company.

If I could give no stars it would be great. Any of you that have just become a client.. GET OUT NOW!!! THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY. If you'd like to speak please reachout... they will take every last $$ they can and never give you a reason why. When you begin to ask you'll be sent to this representative to the next and they all say the same " oh Miss Kelli I feel for you let me talk to my supervisor!!! 5 days now I've dealt with this please please please get rid of them!!!

Best Energy Provider I have found. Been researching energy companies for several years and they all have hidden fees and gimmicks. Think Energy is exactly what they claim to be. One of the lowest fixed rate in almost all markets. but the best part is they give that fixed rate for 3 years. most companies do not do that.

I saved over $300 a month by switching over my Home and my Business since last year.

SOLAR PANEL users stay away! Since the company has been taken over by another company I have been noticing my bills getting higher, figured it was just a part of the inflation boom we are experiencing. But this past month I noticed I only had a net metering credit of 35$! Pretty low after going through a drought with no cloudy days. So I called to ask how is the credit figured out since the bill doesn't show much. Just net metering credit - 35$. First agent wasn't much help, just told me I had to do the math and divide it by my contract price, which gave me 287 kwh that they credited me for. She also told me to contact my solar company because that who sends the kwh to them.Did that, was told my system produced 1358.7 kwh. Called think energy back and gave them that information, this agent, after being put on hold for 15 minutes, came back with this answer, it's because I only receive partial credits because they don't receive that information in time. OK. According to the solar company last month I produced 1200 kwh, so where is my 900+- kwh that i did not receive credit for. Another 15 minute wait and I received another different answer, I get charged for what my panels do not produce for the day. OK. So this day my panels produced 44.62 kwh, information from my panels site, and according to the think energy site I used 49.9 that same day, so I only owe you for 5.28 kwh for that day. And so on. I broke it down day by day by there billing cycle and came out at 640.72 kwh that I used that my panels did not produce. My bill is for 1978 kwh. So which story is it, neither one adds up. Agent just told me she was going to escalate a ticket. Here I am a month later and my new answer is my credit applied is correct. I have been asking for an accurate explanation, how many kwh am I actually getting credit for, but they just constantly come back with it is correct. Again, I've been with this company since 2019, never had problems until November of 2022 when they changed owners. All I was looking for is accurate information on the break down of the net metering credit, and after these answers I have received leads me to think what kind of shadiness is going on over there. I could be wrong, just coming to my own conclusions after the responses I was given, but they are failing to prove me wrong other wise, need more than just the bill is correct.

Stay away ! My bill are doubled for the same use, ,i only have AC and laptop , and ac setting are around 79 ,barely turn on,

Your account is being billed with a 9.6 cents per kWh energy rate. The reason your average rate is over 28 cents per kWh is because of the TDSP charges for the demand ratchet. The ratchet is imposed by the TDSP and will be billed regardless of what provider or plan you have. The ratchet is:

A demand ratchet is a billing method commonly imposed by electric utilities on commercial customers. It specifies that the billed demand level in kW be the larger of the actual peak demand for the billing period, or a percentage of the highest peak reached during the previous X months. A typical demand ratchet uses 80% of the peak demand occurring during the previous 11 months as the comparison point. Under this scenario, if your facility experiences a peak demand of 1,000 kW for one hour (or 15 minute interval) you will be billed for a minimum of 800 kW during the next 11 months, even if your actual demand is much lower. Demand ratchets are generally used by utilities to reduce the risks of serving certain types of customers who have potentially large swings in demand during the year—making them pay for the assurance of having the high capacity available when needed.

this is what i found out , there is NO way i use 1000kw per hour or over 15 mins, and they will AUTO renew the contract without ask you ,
