The Sober School approach to reliance on alcohol is non-judgemental and based on information backed by strong research.. Kates course looks at the whole person and provides strategies for dealing with alcohol dependence therefore not just relying on willpower. The programme specifically focusses on women and provides ongoing support through the work of coaches who have been there as well as a confidential community space where people can share their concerns, successes, challenges. In my view the programme is well researched, well organised and effective. What Kate offers is what you get....always professional, responsive and informative. At the end of the day the participant has to take responsibility for her own decisions and destiny but the course provides a structure and context for doing that. Well worth the investment. Berni B

I wanted to change my relationship with alcohol as I was drinking wine most nights and it took a lot of willpower to have a night off.
I joined the getting unstuck course 2 years ago and have been sober since. I feel so much healthier and happier since completing the course and being alcohol free.
The course really worked for me as I could relate to so many of the scenarios and enjoyed the content. I looked forward to the daily videos and “homework”. You can participate as much or little as you want to. I used to watch the zoom meetings back as that worked for me. Kate, coaches and sober club members are an amazing group of women who have all had a relationship with alcohol that they wanted to change.

The 6 week programme of daily activities to complete were well structured & really made me explore my relationship with alcohol & understand what it was doing to me. Alcohol does Not control or influence my life anymore; I control it & it's just brilliant. I'm in my 2nd Year of Sobriety I don't feel deprived I feel Liberated 🗽 & Free 😊. Totally recommend this club, best investment I have made in years, The tides are turning regarding Alcohol & this is a great place to join the revolution.

Life-changing. This course enabled me to stop drinking. That was nearly 2 years ago. It is constructive, interesting and designed to give you the best chance possible to build an alcohol-free life. The tutors are amazing as is the wonderful Sober Sisters community. No judgement, no shame, just support and encouragement. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

I was caught in a spiral of drinking and was desperate to find help. That’s when I found The Sober School. From the beginning, I felt that the lessons truly addressed what I was struggling with — every lesson resonated with me.
It was a real learning curve, but I am now two and a half years sober. I can’t be grateful enough to The Sober School.
The community is made up of wonderful women who are always ready to help and support you. For me, as a working mom, the online format was just perfect. Joining was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Initially, due to finding the Sober School online, I was wary that it was a scam. It is anything but. Kate, the coaches and the other ladies in the club have all experienced unhealthy relationships with alcohol and can offer education and advice with a unique understanding. They have provided me with the tools to live a much better life without alcohol. I was a heavy drinker for around 40years until joining the Sober School last September. There us support after the 6 week course and for as long as you need.

I wouldn’t be where I am today if I hadn’t come across The Sober School. I have now experienced over a years alcohol free living, when I had been struggling unhappily with alcohol dependence for years. There is a 6 week “Getting Unstuck Course”, a programme with useful lessons daily, with lots of time for reflection and regular input from Kate Bee and her team of coaches.
It is an holistic approach which encourages honesty and long term change for women. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the course to women who want to learn how to manage life’s difficulties without using alcohol as a crutch.

Having worried about my daily drinking for many years, the sober school and Kate Bee and the coaches has been a life saver. The Getting unstuck course is very professionally run and easy to follow. Kate and all of the coaches have historically had issues with alcohol themselves so they have first hand experience. The initial course is for 6 weeks and helps break down the myths about what alcohol does for you. There is no judgement and as it’s for women only and because everyone is in the same boat, it is a safe and comfortable environment. Once the course has finished you are given the option to join ‘the sober school’ where you can all stay in touch and support each other. There are regular zoom calls where you can take your concerns and get invaluable advice. Other services such as AA give the impression you have to deprive yourself for the rest of your life. Whereas Sober School makes you understand a sober life is a lifestyle upgrade and you are not ‘giving up’ anything!

I have been part of the sober school for 4years. Absolutely loved their professionalism, emotional support and responsivness.

Best money I ever spent.
The course takes you through the reasons that make you keep returning to this addictive drug in a way that makes you question your drinking habits over 6 weeks. After that you can join the stay sober club where ladies at all stages of being AF chat and share support.

It could work out expensive if you carry on drinking but in what I've saved not drinking it works out as a bargain. I'm just approaching two years sober after many years of trying different techniques

Like many of my fellow students I can't praise this course highly enough. I knew I had to LEARN how to stop my dependence on alcohol. The course is a brilliant mixture of education about how alcohol gets and keeps you hooked and then how to love and value yourself enough to stop. You can join the club after the course for ongoing support from the coaches and your fellow students. I recommend it to anyone who will listen! It changes lives and I am so grateful I did it. Don't hesitate to invest in your future well-being and do this course! The course teaches you that there's no shame in becoming addicted to an addictive substance and provides the mindset and strategies you need to succeed. Just do it would be my advice!

OMG the sober school is truly wonderful! Kate holds your hand day by day, over 6 weeks, teaching, helping and advising you why you shouldn't drink alcohol. There's also her support team & then there's a large team of women who are doing the course with you. These women are your life savers! The life stories, the emotional support. Honestly it's the best thing ever!

A very professional programme, well researched, and intelligently delivered. The support was amazing, empowering and non stigmatising. It worked for me. Three years without alcohol.
