I feel incredibly lucky and grateful that someone shared Kate's Wine O'Clock guide with me when I was feeling a great need to reduce my alcohol intake. It spoke to me even before i read it. I looked into a few other programs to validate my initial thought and it was clear this was where I needed to be, amongst a community of women with similar concerns and a common goal. Six weeks sounded scary, but I fully committed to the process and it not only went incredibly fast, but I succeeded being AF for the six weeks and have committed to 120 days and the ongoing support of the The Sober School. The community and support makes all the difference

I joined in October 2025 having tried to stop drinking alcohol many many many times but I just couldn't. I was very sceptical in the beginning. I thought it might be a scam. But I said to myself, what can you lose, money or your desire to stop alcohol drinking. I was desperate so I tried. It was the best decision I have ever made in my whole life. The daily lessons keep you on track and the very professional and educated Kate Bee and team are just marvelous. I am alcohol free now and loving life. Thank you Sober School

I was skeptical, mostly due to the cost. I thought about it for about 6 months, and nothing got any better with my secret drinking in that time. I missed the deadline and thought oh well, that’s that. Then Kate opened up registration for 1 more day due to the final call emails being at a weekend and her receiving numerous requests to join. So I drank 2 bottles of Prosecco and signed up, and they were the last drinks I have had. Sure, it’s only day 41 for me now, but it’s the longest I’ve not drunk in about 6 years. The course helps reshape your mind, and you are constantly going back to tools you have been taught. Kate is so relatable and has been there herself. The lessons aren’t time consuming and you can rewatch the daily zoom calls if you can’t make them at the time. I haven’t ever really done anything like this before. I had Googled Am I an alcoholic plenty of times, along with what are the symptoms of liver damage, how many years can you drink before your liver stops recovering, what help is there? I didn’t want to join an open group like AA and get a label. Kate is not about labels, she guides you so gently I didn’t even realise what were getting to the root of until half way in. I’m a mum of 2 young children in the UK, and was feeling such guilt at the shame and anxiety of hiding my drinking at home from my husband, not being present for the kids, and ensuring it was always me emptying the recycling bins so no one knew the extent of things! This course has helped me to reset my life and I’m loving it. And the cost, in 2 months, I’ve almost saved all of the money on booze anyway. Best money spent, and such a lovely, gentle course; but it gets you right where you need to be. What have you got to lose, except the shame, guilt and anxiety :) x

I have just completed the Getting Unstuck course! It’s not a scam, it’s well worth the money (the same as 6 weeks worth of wine for me!) and I can’t recommend it enough. I tried for years and went down all avenues of options, none worked. I was dubious at first so I just subscribed to the free advice to start. I received emails and short videos and it totally clicked with me, so I signed up for the course January 2026! Kate and her team are amazing and so are the community you link up too! I knew I needed to address my relationship with alcohol and had followed Kate’s blog for a couple of months. I considered doing the unstuck course but I was worried about the cost. I miserably fell off dry January on day two, which coincided with an email from Kate about the course. Her empathy was so genuine I was convinced.

I have now completed the six week course and throughout I have felt seen, understood and supported.

The course is professional and educating, and run by a skilled team with a personal approach. I haven’t had a perfect journey, but I am well on my way, which would not have been my story if I hadn’t taken the course. I don’t have to hide anymore. This was by far the best way I could have invested in myself, and I easily saved the equivalent cost in booze and associated spending in this time.

I have signed up to the Stay Sober Club as I am enjoying the education and community it offers. I am excited about my alcohol free future, and massively recommend anyone who wishes to change their drinking habits to sign up to the course. If you’re reading this, then you know it’s the right time for you. You won’t regret it.

I would give this 10 stars if I could! I have been trying to quit alcohol for about 5 years as it had taken over my life - I tried moderation, Alan carrs easy way books and online seminar plus various other self helps books and audio books and nothing worked. I started the sober school in Jan 2026 and I have now been AF for 7 weeks!! It amazing, you get a little lesson every day so your always learning without the over load, you get a fabulous community of like minded women who are in a similar rut to you, and you get access to the coaches whenever you need it. It’s the best thing I have ever done, i never thought id be free from drink. I am so glad to have found this course and I can’t recommend it enough. Invest the money in yourself, it’s the best money you can spend if you want to quit the booze completely. Good luck.

I attended The Sober School and took the class in Oct., 2022: Getting Unstuck Course because I felt stuck with a daily habit of consuming wine and not really wanting to be drinking so much nor knowing why I was doing it. It felt like a habit I just did. I was a productive person, very functional and successful. I continued to try convincing myself, so what’s so bad about a few drinks a day? That’s when I realized I wanted the anxiety to go away, I wanted to be clear from the brain fog, to stop feeling sad or mad, to feel happy and totally present in my daily life and important relationships. To remember everything and regret nothing.
Kate Bee, at The Sober School, has done a fabulous job with creating the online class called: The Getting Unstuck Course, and I loved the daily video and lesson which I could do at my convenience. It was so interesting and empowering. I liked that the short daily lessons have a question for reflection with the option to post to the community for further discussion with other women in the group. I found this helpful and gained great insight from the other women on this journey. I was surprised to see so many successful women with the same issues as I experienced. In 2022, I stopped drinking for a long time, then started moderating off and on. Fast forward to summer 2025, I was realizing that I did not feel good with moderating, even if I only drank 2 glasses of wine a day, so I decided it was optimal for my health to ditch alcohol for good. I got an app to track my days of being alcohol free. It took me ten tries and a few months before I was 100% alcohol-free and then I was on my way to my goal of being 365 days alcohol-free. I was wavering on this goal a bit when I thought I need some more support, but did not know what. Then I learned about a second class by The Sober School, Kate Bee called Back To Sober School for graduates. There was a free zoom call on January 1st and I immediately signed up. I attended the free informational class and took copious notes. This was exactly what I needed! I signed up for the Back to Sober School class which was daily lessons and then Sundays were fun because we had a break from the lessons to listen to an interview of how another Sober School graduate shared her trials and tribulations as well as her success to living an alcohol-free lifestyle.
I now have the tools and knowledge to cement in my alcohol-free lifestyle, and to feel good about it. I learned so much from The Sober School and Kate Bee, and I am beyond grateful to her devotion to helping women around the world change their lives by choosing an alcohol-free lifestyle.

In summary… for me, even moderating a couple of glasses of wine was not working for me. I learned about truth about alcohol and how harmful it really is – and why one glass always lead to more, so I could break the habit.

If you are female looking for a system that genuinely works for giving up alcohol; that is not like one of the more well-known older options available; then this is the place for you. I felt the older well-known options available seemed to be all about will power, constant hard work, telling negative stories at meetings, and having a negative label attached to me for the rest of my life.

The Sober School on the other hand is about tackling the real reason alcohol has taken a hold on me, showing me how to untangle that hold in a progressive and fact proven way, backed with science, that genuinely provides positive long-lasting results without will power, without constant hard work, without labels and without negativity.

I did three courses, The Freedom Week, The Getting Unstuck Course and The Back to Sober School Course. By applying the techniques correctly, I gave up alcohol willingly, I don’t miss it and I don’t feel deprived because I have ditched it. I am proud to say, ‘I don’t drink alcohol anymore’. I don’t need it to be happy. I just wish I had discovered The Sober School and Kate & her team much sooner in my life.

I am a member of The Sober School Club, and it really is a wonderful community of amazing ladies, who are there for each other. There is always somebody available for support within a short period of time, no matter where in the world you are or what time of the day it is.

I joined The Sober School in January 2023 and I've never looked back. I really wanted to leave alcohol behind and move into my 60's and my retirement with a new healthier focus. I loved the 6 week course and meeting so many fantastic women who I could relate to from the outset helped me decide that an alcohol free life was definately for me. I found this course in September 2024 and the six week course was fantastic- daily lessons and emails and regular zoom calls with Kate and her team with likeminded women in the same position as I was - all with their own experiences. I cannot recommend this course enough, it has truly changed my life. The friendships and bonds made with the other members will be lifelong. I had tried so many of the alternative resources available but none of them resonated as much as this. The best money I’ve ever spent. It’s not easy ditching alcohol but it’s doable and it’s absolutely a life upgrade.

I have found the Sober School to be a truly positive approach to quitting alcohol. The course explains clearly why AF living is a superior option to a life with booze with a welcoming, supportive community of women all supporting each other to stay on track. Kate, the founder and leader is honest, unassuming and knowledgeable and behind her is a loyal, fabulous, helpful team of coaches who are all approachable and available if temptation strikes.

I had my last drink on 23rd June 2022. I remember it well, actually it was several drinks and on the morning of the 24th with a banging head and feeling sick to the pit of my stomach at the night before I vowed I would never drink again. But HOW?
Luckily for me, I somehow found Kate online and she persuaded me to give her course a go. To say I am glad I did is an understatement. The 6 week course seemed quite expensive but was brilliantly structured.
Drip by drip, day by day, things started to shift and at the end of the course I felt my brain had been rewired.
