Very competitive price which easily beat the renewal on my existing provider both for price and cover provided. The website was easy to navigate and provided all the information needed to understand what was being offered.

Straightforward as long as you have all the necessary information to hand. I used my computer not my phone. I appreciated the cost being lower than my old insurer.

Watch out for delaying taking up the offer earlier than actually required. Having decided that I would take up the insurance offer. Initially it cost £388. I left it a few days to allow me to pay it nearer the my pay day, and when I went back it had increased to £407. I did not see any indication on the initial quote that it was the cost "on that day" and may increase!

Renewed my house insurance with AA, and was happy with my price compared to my last provider

Everything seemed easy, but when I went to check out page there were more boxes to tick. I had already made my coverage choices but felt that I was being pressured into changing my mind. Otherwise very happy with the price and ease of website usage.

How can i rate you as i have not made a claim ?

Zero stars. Totally abysmal complaints procedure and customer service.I bought a car insurance and wanted to temporarily extend it for our son who lives in Japan and told the policy did not allow that. The agent confirmed that none of the documentation that I was sent both pre sale and when I purchased the policy gave me that information.

I complained about this on 6 July 2026 and got a response saying that the complaint (ref 5649013) had been resolved. I responded immediately and asked for details as to the resolution. Despite sending two chaser emails I never got a response, On 17 September 2026 I tried to use the Chat facility to obtain information on the resolution. The chat started with a Chat bot but I got passed from bot to bot five times with repeat requests to repeat the same information . On one occasion the bot told me it was human before saying it would pass me to a human. I have spent one hour and 46 minutes and have got absolutely nowhere. I believe I was mis-sold a policy and should be financially compensated for that and the abysmal customer service I have received.
