When I telephoned you

When I telephoned you, the person I spoke to was very helpful got me the best insurance deal and all the information needed to make my decision .

Good Experience

I had an accident 2 years ago and the AA form was the only one I had used on any of the comparison sites that asked pertinent details about the claim. I am now confident I will not be approached later and asked for an additional premium.
I was also pleased there was a contact telephone number to get access to a person to confirm the details etc were correct. Again few companies supply contact details apart from online chats or bots, not acceptable when buying a legal requirement.

Tedious, infuriating process

I spent ages on the website, question after question, page after page, me, my spouse, home, contents, on and on it went. I was losing the will to live, but finally got to the end. The final click, and... "Sorry, we're unable to quote, thank you for using the AA". Total waste of half an hour.

I wanted this particular policy because it specifically covers something I need which most insurers don't cover. Since I still had the original quote at confused.com open in another browser tab I went back to that, confirmed the details and bought the exact same policy via them instead.

This sort of experience makes me question the competence of the people I'm buying from.

It's amazing that on different comparison sites, how you can change the price for the same product.
