After some years of having the security of a Telecare pendant alarm for my mum, we have just been upgraded to a digital version.
As has been my previous experience the customer service operator was very personable and helpful in explaining what this meant.
The upgraded equipment arrived very quickly and was very easy to set up but best of all it is now independent of the telephone line meaning Mum can still call for help even if her phone line is on the blink once again

Compares well against their main competitors.
When researching the main UK providers, Telecare measured up favourably. Their pricing was considerably cheaper without apparent loss of service quality. One concern was on the first test it took 4 minutes to respond. However when accidentally setting my alarm off the response was in seconds,allaying my initial fears. I do think the wrist bands could be improved, a more reliable fastening plus one suitable for those with arthritis. Prevent slipping and how to deal with the excess wristband material. How about different colour or pattern options. Thankyou

Dissppointed customer. Happy with the set up ut yhe watch…
Happy with the set up but the watch strap is very disappointing falling to bits already makes wrist uncomfortable when wet. Why cant a plastic watch strap be provided? Ordered a other one for £10 to use whilst the other one is wet which is a rip off for piece of elastic. I have since seen other companies provide better wrist alarms and I will consider one of these when my contract with you ceases as I paid for one year!

Impressed with the Go Active GPS Pendant.
I have the Go Active GPS plan. The pendant was delivered quickly after ordering and the user guide was easy to follow. Being hard of hearing, I'm impressed with the volume of the speaker built in to the pendant, no separate base-unit is needed. When I used it for the initial test call, the assistant was friendly. My only quibble is the fact that you have to simultaneously press a button on the back of the pendant, as well one on the front, which isn't intuitive for someone unfamiliar with it's operation.
