Tekled Wall-E Double Head Security light
The design only allows cable access directly through the wall which, in most cases, is not possible. e.g. a house cavity wall which is plastered, decorated or with wall fittings. There should be access through the side from, say, an external junction box. I had to rake out a brick joint to get the cable in.
Once the back plate is fixed the light unit has just an awkward push fit on to it. The push fit is not very secure and would be so much better with a screw fixing method for maintenance access.

We’re sorry to hear that the installation process was challenging. Your point about cable access is very valuable—particularly for properties with cavity walls or existing finishes—and we understand how having only rear entry can limit flexibility. Your suggestion regarding a side option from an external junction box is noted and will be shared with our product development team for future improvements.
We also appreciate your comments on the push-fit connection. We understand that a more secure fixing method, such as screws, could make installation and future maintenance easier and more reassuring.

I’m really impressed with TekLED as a company, particularly their customer service. They seem to uphold the kind of strong ethics that many British companies were known for a decade ago. My experience was positive from start to finish — from placing the order through to resolving issues that only became apparent a few months after delivery. I’d happily do more business with them in the future.
A special mention goes to their calm and patient customer service team. They didn’t try to place blame on me or make an issue of the delay in reporting the problem, which made the whole process smooth and reassuring.

Short led lights.
Wanted a new under cupboard led light due to failure of switch on old unit, of three. This company had what I required at a reasonable price. Received & satisfied. Wiring for same can be adjusted easily.
