I purchased two bags from Tammy &…
I purchased two bags from Tammy & Benjamin. The only reason I purchased the Lexi bag was because the website displayed an estimated delivery date of 6 August, which was in time for a birthday gift before I travelled.
On the estimated delivery date, I had still not received any shipping confirmation. After contacting customer service myself, I was informed that the parcel had not even been handed to FedEx.
Throughout the day, my WhatsApp messages were read, but my calls went unanswered, and I repeatedly had to ask for a direct answer as to whether delivery before Saturday was still possible. Only after several exchanges did the company finally confirm that they could not guarantee delivery before my trip and agreed to cancel the order and initiate a refund.
The issue was not simply a delayed delivery. The order had not even been dispatched by the advertised estimated delivery date, and I was never proactively informed. I had to discover the issue myself.
While I appreciate that the company ultimately agreed to cancel the order, I am disappointed by the lack of communication and customer care throughout the process.
For products in this price range, I expected a much higher standard of customer service, transparency, and communication.

The delivery date displayed on our website is an estimated date. Unfortunately, the remaining transit time to Spain did not allow us to guarantee delivery before your departure.
As soon as it became clear that delivery before your trip could not be guaranteed, we proceeded with the cancellation of the order and initiated the refund as requested.

Unfortunately when I received the bag…
Unfortunately when I received the bag the packaging was very shady. Instantly I thought I got scammed from one of those fake ads online. The bag is beautiful but the logo of Tammy and Benjamin is faded. The worst part is that a few weeks later I got a Fed Ex bill that I had to pay for over $100.00 for duty taxes. Why is your company doing ads in the United States if we have to pay duty tax? Such a horrible experience. Why did I have to pay shipping fee and then get a bill from Fed Ex is mind blowing to me. Never again will I buy from your company.

Your order was shipped from France with complimentary delivery. However, any import duties, taxes, or customs fees that may be requested upon arrival in the United States are determined by U.S. Customs and collected by the carrier on behalf of the local authorities. These charges are established by government regulations and are therefore outside of our control.
To help offset these potential costs, we offer our U.S. customers an additional 15% discount on eligible orders. In your case, your bag was priced at USD 376, and the code USTAXFREE15 provided a further discount of USD 56.40, as detailed in your order summary.

Those bags are beautiful and therefore you are expecting everything to be as beautiful as the bags. The purchase doesn’t end when you confirm your basket, it has to continue also when you receive the bags and I didn’t get the wow effect. Not sure I will buy again.

I have a very negative experience with Tammy and Benjamin. I ordered the Cubist bag in black and after the payment was processed, they sent me an email stating that this bag is out of stock and I informed them that I need a refund. It's been two weeks and I haven't received my refund yet. I have been sending follow up emails with no response. I'm very disappointed in the customer service.

We would like to begin by sincerely apologising for the confusion regarding your order. The Cubist model in black vegan leather was unfortunately no longer available in stock, following a display error on our website concerning the last pieces from previous collections.
Once the issue was identified, we offered you several options in order to assist you in the best possible way: either the same model in natural leather at the original price, or a full cancellation of your order with a full refund, depending on your preference.
You chose to proceed with the cancellation, and the refund has been successfully processed to your original payment method, in line with standard banking timelines.
As a commercial gesture, an advantage was also offered for a potential future order, in the form of a 20% benefit, with no time limit and valid in addition to ongoing offers.
We remain at your disposal should you need any further assistance, and we truly hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again among our customers in the future.

Bien mais un contrôle qualité à renforcer?
J’aime beaucoup le design du sac THEA, il est original et unique en son genre. Néanmoins, son cuir rigide est un peu fragile.
En revanche, le sac ANNA nano est à revoir sur 2 points : la chaîne en acier est trop lourde et un peu courte. le bouton pressoir du sac se ferme mal. C’est vraiment dommage.

I had a very positive first experience…
I had a very positive first experience with Tammy & Benjamin. I purchased the Tara bag, which is beautifully made and feels like a high-quality piece. Based on that, I confidently ordered a second bag, the Alexia.
I absolutely love the shape and colour of the Alexia, but unfortunately the quality did not live up to expectations. After only about two weeks of light use (not even daily), the logo had already started to fade noticeably. For a bag priced at over €500, this was extremely disappointing.
I contacted customer service and shared photos taken at that early stage. While they initially agreed to repair the bag, they later refused, claiming the bag showed “severe signs of extended use.” This was frustrating, as the issue with the logo was already clearly visible within the first two weeks and had nothing to do with prolonged wear.
After I pushed back, they eventually agreed to carry out the repair. However, the experience since then has been even more disappointing. My last correspondence from them was on 1 March, and despite multiple follow-up emails asking for updates, I have received no response. I currently have no idea when, or if I will get my bag back.
It’s also worth noting that I never asked for a refund or exchange, only a repair of what appears to be a faulty logo. Given the price point, I don’t think this is an unreasonable expectation.
It’s a real shame, as their designs are genuinely beautiful and my first purchase gave me high hopes. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don’t feel the quality or aftercare justifies the price.

In the meantime, your Alexia bag has been repaired and re-shipped to you.
By way of explanation, the bag needed to be returned to our production atelier in Italy in order to rework the logo properly. This is a particularly delicate operation, as restamping over an existing logo does not allow for a clean or lasting result. A slightly revised stamp had to be created specifically to ensure a refined finish, which required additional time and craftsmanship.
This type of intervention remains exceptional, and we chose this approach to ensure the most appropriate result for your piece.
We also regret the lack of updates during this period, which led to confusion. This is not the experience we aim to offer.

Lors de l’achat du sac, il t’a écrit qu’en 48 heures j’allais recevoir ma commande.
Il a fallu plus de 10 jours pour envoyer le colis, et j’ai manqué la surprise de la Saint-Valentin.
On m’a simplement proposé un remboursement…
C’est un peu facile… Première expérience avec la marque.
