Useless! Headphone broke again the moment I put it on.
I bought Sugru for my broken headphone and followed the instruction as shown in Sugru's official webpage and I really hope it would work as demonstrated. In the first place, I was quite satisfied with the experience of working with the mouldable Sugru and filled inside and the gap between the broken parts and then followed with extra Sugru over the area for extra binding force. I let it sit for 48 hours to make sure the Sugru got completely dried out. To my utmost disappointment, the "fixed" headphone fell apart as if nothing has been done once I put it over my head. A total waste of money and time used to work with it; the effect is not even comparable to plastic tape for paper. Disappointed!

Useless product and company. Dries out and can't use it even in the foil packets that are meant to keep it pliable. Won't ever buy again from them !!

Firstly, could you please drop us an email to hello@sugru.com? We'd like to replace the Sugru that went to waste so you can get on with some fixes and projects!
Sugru will expire by the date displayed on the back of the single-use packs when stored at room temperature (21°C/70°F), this is why we recommend storing unopened single-use packs in the fridge (or freezer) as this will keep them going up to 3 times longer! If your Sugru was still in date, then we'd like to get a few details from you if possible, this way we can let our Quality Team know, and they can investigate what went wrong and prevent it from happening again in the future!

Tried on lady's leather shoes where the sole was coming away. Used whole foil amount and after a few hours no adhesion what so ever. Useless product. Perhaps its not a glue but a filler?

Sugru will bond to a wide range of materials, including fabric and leather, I'm sorry that wasn't the case this time! Sometimes it can be helpful to smudge a little Sugru onto the surface before placing on the bulk to help it adhere, and once it's on it will take 24 hours for each 3mm to cure (the Original Formula) or 2mm deep (the Family-safe | Skin-friendly Formula) at room temperature (21°C/70°F).

Good product but disappointing experience
I really wanted to love Sugru but on this occasion it wasn't for me. Bought to fix my glasses which was a long shot, but the Sugru did stick to the plastic and cure - just didn't hold the two pieces were together! I think a second application would have done it but the leftovers of the same colour have cured in the packet and it is too expensive to purchase again in the off-chance it might work. I also didn't find it easy to use - I found it quite sticky, and got more stuck on my fingers than to the glasses. Hopefully I'll have a better experience if I find used for the other packets!

I'm sorry to hear that your glasses fix didn't go as planned - I realise this must have been disappointing especially as this was your first time using Sugru.
Glasses fixes are very popular in the Sugru community and generally produce great results, you can a see an example of a Sugru-er's project just here - (http://bit.ly/2Mj23zp). I've sent you an email to the address you gave us at checkout so we can offer some more specific tips on trying your fixes next time.
Sugru can get a bit sticky on the fingers when working, to help reduce this you can pop your Sugru in the fridge or freezer for a while before fixing, and you can wipe your hands thoroughly with a dry paper towel (this also helps afterwards if you have any residue on your fingers)! Also, keep in mind that the longer you knead your Sugru, the sticker it will get.

Good product, great customer service!
I had mixed results with my first pack of Sugru, it effectively repaired an Apple charging cable but after an attempt to fix my kitchen bin, the Sugru fell off within 2 days of the fix. I contacted customer services who helpfully sent me a link to a video with some advice on different techniques for application, along with a new pack of Sugru. Since trying this again, the fix seems to have held so far. I was impressed with the speed of reply and how quickly they sent a new pack of the product to try.

I bought the white version of the…
I bought the white version of the original formula Sugru.
My first job was to attempt to repair a crack in a freezer drawer font. The drawer was removed to return to room temperature prior to repair, it was left at room temperature following repair for over 24hr prior to returning it to the freezer.
Result was a success for 6 to 8 weeks, following that, the repair once again cracked, perhaps I didn't put a thick enough coating of the product over the crack, some guidance from the manufacturer would be helpful.

Thanks for getting in touch, and I'm sorry to hear that this fix didn't last for a long time.
There are a few suggestions that will help make this a durable and successful fix:
- In terms of the thickness I would suggest at least 3-5 millimetres to make sure it's strong enough to handle any pressure/forces on it when the drawer is moved.
- Sugru cures at room temperature to a depth of 3mm over 24 hours, so if the application is thicker than 3mm you should leave the drawer out for 2 days just to be 100% sure that this is fully cured.
- smooth out any creases in the Sugru after application as these will be the most likely areas to develop cracks over time. For an extra smooth finish you can dip a finger in soapy water and rub it gently over the Sugru.
I've popped a couple more single use packs in the post for you to help make up for this and so you can try again.

Sugru excellent for repair
Sugru was recommended by a friend for repairing a mains adapter lead for a music stand light. For the repair I followed the instructions on the website for a USB charger lead which is similar. The repair was exactly what I needed. Sugru is mouldable to apply to any shape, and cures like tough rubber, strong yet flexible. I am delighted with it.

Car Keys
I used this product to create a replacement button for my car keys and its wonderful! Its easy to use and moulds amazingly, sets perfectly that you can't even tell its not the original button. I've also used it to repair the wires on my head phones, which works great because of its durability and flexibility. I highly recommend this product.

More than just glue...
Great product - have been using since it first hit the market. Most fixes are still holding - and still look good! It continues to stick stuff together that I never thought would stick. Love everything about it from the marketing to the colors.

I was surprised with how small the portion size was. It wouldn't be my first choice as a general repair material, that it aspires to be, since regular glue or silicone sealant is fairly cheap. The texture is also much stickier than expected which makes initial moulding difficult without wastage.

Sugru comes in 5 g single-use packs, and this is stated in the product descriptions on our website, I'm very sorry that this wasn't clear! We found that the overwhelming majority of users preferred the smaller packs to avoid waste from left overs when fixing.
