Le raccoursi ne marche jamais j'ai payé plusieurs jeu impossible d'y jouer, steam c'est de la m*rde car je ma connect a chaque fois ésperent que ca marche mais bon je peux toujours rêver je déconseil fortement.
C'est de la pure moquerie de ses clients!!!

ich will keine specs unter den reviews sehen (unnötige Schleichwerbung), ich will dass der Steam client mal schnell läuft fühlt sich wie bei M$ die apps an die auch langsam sind (high end pc). Die app lastet nur den pc aus, aber der download speed ist ausgezeichnet (+1 Stern), aber lastet den PC aus.

Ich bin nun seit über fünf Jahren bei Steam und hatte bisher keinerlei Probleme – weder beim Login noch beim Kauf oder bei Rückerstattungen. Zwar wurde mir einmal ein Spiel für 20 € nicht erstattet, aber das war bereits vor vier Jahren und ist mittlerweile vergessen. Rückblickend war es auch verständlich, da ich den Antrag ehrlicherweise zwei Tage nach Ablauf der zweiwöchigen Frist gestellt hatte.

Ew Valve is honestly pathetic. While the rest of the civilized world moved on, Steam is still busy crawling for Russian rubles and acting as a digital megaphone for Z-propaganda. It’s gross that Gabe and his team are cool with hosting literal "war crime simulators" that glorify the invasion of Ukraine just to keep their player counts up. They’ve got zero spine and even less ethics. Imagine being a multi-billion dollar company and still needing to profit off state-sponsored brainwashing games.

Laden duurt dan even. En zeker als je mid game bent sta je daar niet op te wachten...
Zit een Icon in de balk die het opend.
Maar afsluiten ho maar. dan moet je door het menu scrollen en zoeken...

I had been buying games true Steam for 10 years. Never ran into blockers where I would need the sellers (Steam's) support. Until a week ago. I ran into a large scale scam, fraud, called Ashes of Creation. I bought two accounts for my family. The Studio who executed the scam (Intrepid Studios) disappeared after they sold 30K copies, just after 42 days post the release on Steam. This was the point when I tried to ask for refund. Could not. I tried several times, I called out EU directives, I tried to describe the situation in several ways. They simply refused my refund. I never in my life saw such bad costumer support, who are absolutely ignoring the trading rules of the region where they are milking money from. Try to avoid this platform - friendly reminder.

Mir wurden vom STEAM SUPPORT 800€ zu verifzizierungszwecken abgenommen und jetzt rücken die mein Geld nicht mehr raus. Ich würde von Steam betrogen!!!!

Steam is gewoon een slecht bedrijf geworden, je koopt een game van 70 euro, start heel mischien 1 keer van de 20 op, op een pc build van over de 5k.
Geven geen refund want 2 uur overschreden, ookal loopt die tijd op van de moment dat je op start game klikt en dan verder niks doet. Heb dan maar naar de bank gebeld en via die weg me geld terug gevraagd, account geblokkeerf, lekker boeiend als je je nieiwe games niet kan spelen, is gewoon een dik scam bedrijf geworden.

Be very carevwith this company when purchasing vouchers. If there is anything wrong and you can't use them for whatever reason they do not honour them and you end up out of pocket. They are not will to help you and just close the case down every time. Absolute joke they are.

for some clarification I have had a steam account for years with no problem since around 2020 - 2021
over this time I slowly built up a big library of games. fast forward to 2025 and I find myself in a situation where my pc was compromised whilst I was away and my account was locked permanently for fraud.

I looked around at the account and saw tickets where someone had tried to gt a steam deck from steam using my account and failed hard.

I thought ok well I have had zero policy violations, zero infractions, a big library and been with them for years, and i secured my account changed my email and enabled the 2FA.

nope I was dismissed outright
they said "it was your device/ip" and "account security is the responsibility of the holder this lock will stay permanently"

horrible treatment guess I'm going back to the good old days of sailing the seas well done steam and if this review convinces even one person to decide against using steam I will be very happy because it is the least they deserve

Over the last few days ive faced multiple issues with steam and when I talked to there so called customer service they say they wont help and close it down.

When I ask for a complaints line they never anwser the question instead pointing me to the forum to open a post.....not really a complaints line... So overall 1 star and poor service. I guess all that's left is leave reviews.

Steam is gewoon een topplatform. Punt. Er komen bakken vette games op uit, zowel grote titels als creatieve indie-parels, en veel van die negatieve verhalen die ik hier lees slaan de plank compleet mis.

Even duidelijk:
Is je account gehackt? Dat ligt niet aan Steam, dat ligt aan jou. Slechte wachtwoorden, geen Steam Guard, overal hetzelfde mailadres gebruiken — dat zijn geen Steam-problemen, dat zijn gebruikersfouten.

Geen geld teruggekregen voor een slechte game? Ook dat is meestal eigen schuld. Steam heeft duidelijke regels voor refunds. Lees ze. Net als bij kleding: binnen een bepaalde tijd en onder bepaalde voorwaarden kun je je geld terugkrijgen. Ik heb zelf meerdere keren een game geretourneerd die tegenviel — geen probleem, zolang je je aan de regels houdt. Mensen die daarover janken, hebben meestal gewoon niet gelezen hoe het werkt.

Dan dat gezeur over “half kapotte games”. Veel games op Steam zijn early access of nog volop in ontwikkeling. Dat staat er letterlijk bij. Wordt ook duidelijk aangegeven door de makers. Koop je zo’n game zonder te lezen, dan moet je achteraf niet gaan huilen dat hij nog niet af is.

Het enige echte aandachtspunt:
Wees scherp bij sommige gameproducenten, vooral als het om privacy gaat. Lees policies, klik niet blind op akkoord, check wie er achter een studio zit. Geef je zomaar toestemming, ja — dan geef je toegang. Maar ook dat is geen Steam-probleem, dat is een lees-en-denk-probleem.

Conclusie:
Als je gewoon je huiswerk doet, leest wat je koopt, de regels snapt en niet als een kip zonder kop overal op klikt, dan is Steam één van de beste gameplatforms die er nu bestaat. Sterke community, goede deals, duidelijke systemen en een enorm aanbod.

Van mij krijgt Steam 5 groene sterren ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Niet omdat het perfect is, maar omdat het eerlijk werkt — mits jij ook je verstand gebruikt.

Stop met Steam de schuld geven van je eigen stommiteiten.

Acheté jeu "Indiana Jones et le cercle ancien" le 04/01/2026. Au cours du jeu plusieurs plantages mais reprise jeu possible. Renseignement pris, il semble que le problème avec cartes graphiques N vidia inférieure à 8 Go soit connu. Je demande à Steam le remboursement le 05/01/2026 faute de pouvoir jouer: refus "le jeu a tourné plus de deux heures" Je trouve l'attitude déloyale et assez limite quand ils allèguent un remboursement jusqu'à 14 jours. J'ai proposé faute de remboursement un avoir sur un autre jeu moins gourmand. Pas de réponse.Faut-il fuir Steam?

Mijn account is gestolen en er is geen manier om met deze oplichters contact te maken!! Ze sturen je steeds naar een nep app die je zogenaamd een email gaat sturen met een code, maar raad eens??? GEEN CODE
duizenden euro's aan spellen hebben ze van me GEJAT!!!

my main issue with steam is auto-updating I should be able to turn off updates complety
this means i could press the shortcut for an offline indie game on a low powered laptop and it strts doing hit in the background a lot of indie games have drm free versions and I'd like not to have the background process even if it's small

Steam support is great no nosense for basic game refund under terms althought switching staff can
confuse other problems I was asked to send a screenshot I'd sent before in the conversation
steam marketplace great in practice but easily abused and cs makes it gambling
stuff like that adds very little for the consumer but makes it harder for compertions
