I have a cracked aligner and I need…

I have a cracked aligner and I need some guidance on how to proceed. I emailed on 03/23/2021 and was asked to send pictures. After new pictures were sent, I have not heard back even after multiple follow ups and attempts to reach them via the other available methods (chat and phone). It has now been a week and I want a refund.

Edit:
20 minutes after posting this review, customer service reached out. They say they will reach out to their lab to identify why my aligner cracked.

Support was supposed to reach out with information from the lab by end of day on 04/06/2021. I have yet to receive any communication.

So far I have had no issues with Snap…

So far I have had no issues with Snap Correct. The process has been easy and the instructions have been clear and precise. I have been wearing my aligners for two months and have already noticed a difference. I will be looking forward to my new smile this fall.

Lost Faith...

In the beginning the company was amazing. Quick response and quick turn around for my aligners. Now that I've paid everything and need another refinement they have ignored all my emails. They did respond to one saying that my teeth were straight and that was that. But they aren't and I've tried reaching out letting them know that with no response.

Outcomes vary with customer compliance, age, gender, bone and tissue and overall customer health, genetics, lifestyle and other factors. We can not and did not offer guaranteed results. The Aligners you received were in-fact defect free, yet did not produce your desired results. We appreciate the honest feedback.

Great customer service

I have ordered braces and retainers through SnapCorrect. When it comes to getting everything right with the molds, there can be complications, but I have always had great customer service and every issued has been resolved to my satisfaction. All phone calls and email interactions have been pleasant and courtesy.

Decent results. Horrible customer service.

I, like several other reviewers, have had a horrible experience with customer service. I completed my treatment plan back in March. I was fairly pleased with the results. But, once my first set of retainers started to wear out, I ordered new ones. When they arrived, they were nowhere close to the right fit. So I contacted them back and they said they would redo them. 4 months went by. I left multiple voicemails, emails, chat messages. Nothing. No response. Finally, out of the blue I get an email saying my new retainers are being made and would ship soon. That was in September. I have now been waiting now another three months to try to get my correct retainers. It’s been a total of 7 months since I originally ordered my retainers. If I ever do get them, I will update this review. We shall see I guess.

Literally no one ever responds

I got my aligners in 2019 and they worked pretty well for me. Not a perfect smile, but much better than the one I had previously. I also never had any issues with timing or contacting anyone for help. However, I ordered two retainers six weeks ago (my original broke). I was charged $150 and have heard NOTHING back since then despite numerous phone calls, voicemails, and customer support tickets. I was told that the retainers would be shipped out within 4 weeks. I'm still hanging on to hope that I will receive them eventually, but if I don't hear from SnapCorrect before too long I will dispute the charge to get my money back. It should not be this difficult to get a hold of a single customer service representative. And in the meantime, my teeth are moving. What a waste of money.

If they end up getting back to me and I receive my retainers, I will update this review.

Edit: SnapCorrect did contact me through email after reading this review. There was an oversight with my retainers and they have started remaking them and will hopefully get them to me soon. I am still a bit nervous as they haven't been very responsive in the past and I have to wait even longer to receive my retainers, but I am hopeful that it will work out. I will update this if/when I receive them!

Final edit:

In the end, I did receive my retainers over two months after I ordered them. My teeth had shifted too much since then to actually use them, so Snapcorrect set me up with a refinement plan. The refinement plan also took a long time to get to me, although I think that was more due to trouble with USPS than with Snapcorrect. I've started wearing my first aligners for the refinement plan and I'm hopeful that after another couple months, my teeth will be where they used to be and I'll have a working retainer to keep them in place!

This company does good work, but I won't lie, the difficulty of getting in contact with a customer service rep when I first ordered the retainers left a sour taste in my mouth. I think they're an effective and affordable option if you don't mind chasing them down in the case of any problems.

Extremely frustrated with this company

Extremely frustrated with this company. I am on my FOURTH do-over because I got to the end of treatment and still have issues. During the process - lost a couple trays..but they told me they CANNOT replace lost ones, because they don't keep those in the computer sysytem - only retainers. WTH?? Why?? Am I the only person who EVER lost a set? Is this data REALLY that difficult to store? Come on! This time I my new retainer I paid $150 for....is actually moving my teeth OUT of alignment which had been better achieved with last trays. Told them AND sent pics of the issue with my top teeth. And just now got the kit to do the impressions YET AGAIN....and they are for the bottom only. Completely fed up..I do NOT recommend this at all. Also, some of the people who answer emails are snarky and rude. I really don't have much good to say...except teeth are straighter than before. Wish they were done in the first 9 months like I was told. Nearly 2 years later I'm pretty sure paying a little more would have been worth it.

Not the results I was looking for

These aligners were fairly priced and did a great job at moving my teeth. They are also truly invisible.

However, I had a minor issue to fix. The tooth I wanted to align is in place, but now, my top front teeth are touching my bottom front teeth when I bite down preventing my molars on one side from meeting. I’ve already gone through one set of refinements that didn’t fix the problem. It’s very frustrating.

On top of that, I’ve been wearing my retainer for only three months now and upon taking it out to brush my teeth, noticed a huge crack down the side of it where my main problem tooth was. I can already feel my tooth shifting back. If retainers need to be replaced this frequently, then the price of these aligners are completely pointless. You might as well go with Invisalign.

Overall a good experience

Originally I thought it took entirely too long to receive but overall in general considering the price was thee best (and trust me I compared) the overall experience is good. The program is great, comes with whitener both gel & laser. I am actually considering getting another purchase but for my daughter. :)

Good Price - Great Results

I finished my aligners 3 months ago. I've gotten a great result, period. The treatment plan was smooth, and I've had no problems reaching customer service with any questions or concerns.

I also did a lot of research before choosing SnapCorrect. I considered numerous companies, and spoke in-depth with reps before making a decision. Cost was not the only factor for me, and with all things considered SnapCorrect won my business.

My teeth are near perfect - I truly could not be more satisfied with the results.

UPDATE: I reached out to SnapCorrect for a set of retainers, they called me and I've ordered my replacement retainers. Thanks SnapCorrect!!!

Not sure if this company is still in…

Not sure if this company is still in business. I've been trying to contact them and have not received a response.

I have been through three rounds of aligners so far. The first round only fit until tray 3, the second round only tray 1 fit, and the third round none of them fit. After the last round, they had me send in the aligners for fit testing. They received my aligners on July 6. I still haven't heard anything from them about this process. At this point I'm completely frustrated. My teeth look the same as when I started this process. I have no desire to continue treatment at this point since three rounds of aligners have failed. I emailed them a few weeks ago requesting a refund. No response to that email either. This has been a complete waste of time and money.

The Lab has determined that there is no fit issue or manufacturing error with the aligners as they perfectly fit the molds of your teeth. They suggest that the aligners are not being inserted properly on to the teeth. At this time it has been determined that there is neither a fit issue or manufacturing flaw. Complete lack of response - are they still in business?

This company is still not responding to my many emails and phone calls regarding the update to my aligner treatment. The net result has been terrible. Similar to another review below, the snapcorrect treatment has resulted in a badly misaligned bite that will require orthodontic treatment with a real dental professional at considerable cost. The complete lack of response to this problem has been very disappointing and I can only strongly urge prospective customers to look elsewhere for this type of treatment.

I am a happy customer

I want to let folks know that they are still in business. I am in contact with them regarding my refinement.

I did a lot of research before I chose snapcorrect. In fact, I first went with smiledirect. But after making the impressions, smiledirect told me that they could not do anything about my lower teeth. Fixing my lower was the main reason I wanted to do this, so I had to give up on them. (side note: because smiledirect could fix my upper, they would not reimburse the cost of the impression kit) Disappointed, I decided to try snapcorrect.

Fast forward 1.5 years later and a couple of rounds of refinement, I am quite happy about how much better my teeth look now.

But was everything perfectly smooth with no hiccups? No. I think snapcorrect could do a better job quality-checking the aligners. My first batch missed a couple of aligners and it took me a frustratingly long time to figure out a solution with them. I ended up starting the refinement process, which was much smoother. If I had known that, it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration (and I think they feel the same, too) There were a couple of additional hiccups along the way, but if you persist, I have found the customer support to be helpful, understanding, and considerate.

A couple of other things to note. First, my insurance does not pay for this. It was disappointing because I had paid a higher premium for a dental plan with orthodontics, thinking it would be worth it. So I am paying this entirely out of my pocket. Of course, it is still quite affordable, relatively speaking. Second, yes, they offer refinement aligners, which is great. You have to understand that moving teeth is not easy and different people will have different experiences. I see this offering as a huge plus. But honestly, I would not have known that were it not for the reviews posted here.

Can they do much better? Of course. Was I frustrated at times? Sure. Am I am overall a happy customer after 1.5 years? You bet. Are my teeth perfect now? No, but that is okay because I have the right expectations. I feel well supported during the whole process. They are always responsive to my questions/concerns.

Not 100% accurate or perfect results but definitely 90%! Quality materials and service!

I finished my (re)treatment about 6 months ago and from start to finish, I have had great customer service and had good final results. My first treatment plan was 14 upper and 14 lower aligners with 1 set of retainers. About half way through my treatment at aligner 7, I had to have some needed dental work on one of my back molars. After the appointment, the bottom aligners would now not fit over that tooth and caused them to rise up a little in the back, causing me to make a decision: 1. Cut and grind down/around the molar area of the aligner or 2. ask customer support to see if they could send a new mold for the remaining of the 7 aligners. The answer was a no, whish is fine, I understood why, and I proceeded with cutting out the entire back 2 molars on the aligner which seemed to work beautifully given that the focus was on my front teeth anyway. I thought this would cause an anchor issue to provide stability but it didn't so I made it through the entire first treatment to 14. After reaching the "final result", it didnt seem to be what the 3d results displayed on my profile, so I spoke with customer support (very understanding). They asked me to provide photos and they agreed that they were not as accurate as the 3d predictions. I received a new molding kit soon after and thankfully was able to mold with my recent dental work so they finally fit. I received 6 additional aligners, 1 new retainer set, and more free whitening supplies (free for life per one of the coupon codes they send you) and finished the treatment. I still do not think the final results are exactly as I would like them, but the before and after is quite a difference so I am overall satisfied and cannot complain for a do-it-yourself kind of person I am. The reason for four stars is because the results are not 100% accurate compared to the photos and 3d images I was provided, but overall a great experience and an easy, low profile solution to go from 0-90% without bulky braces which would get you that extra 10% of perfection. The material quality is better than its competitors hands down and it does not impair my speech or is at all noticeable in smiling photos. This company is great and will provide you great material and support and even more perks like whiting gel, whiting toothpaste, and whiting touchup pens all free of charge with a subscription, very awesome! Due to COVID, it is understandable that things are slow and they are taking awhile to respond to shipments or calls/emails, but take my honest word for what its worth, SnapCorrect is here to provide quality products and service like they did for me.

Waste of time and money

My original treatment plan consisted of 10 top aligners and 18 bottom aligners. Throughout the process while teeth got straighter, I noticed my bite changing significantly, of which I brought to SnapCorrect's attention numerous times. I even inquired about how these aligners may impact my bite prior to purchasing and was reassured that my bite shouldn't change since I didn't have bite issues prior as SnapCorrect's aligners are not supposed to move the back teeth. I sent numerous pictures and detailed descriptions showing that I was not on the way to the treatment plan after results and was never allowed to speak to a member of the "dental team". Since then I had received several refinements (first refinement: 7 aligners top and bottom; second refinement: 5 aligners top and bottom) to attempt at correcting the issues that SnapCorrect created. My bite has changed as a result of the aligners in such a way that I have an open bite (making it difficult to chew) when SnapCorrect claims to only move the front teeth-completely false in my case and indicative of a manufacturing defect. My teeth do not touch in the back properly. SnapCorrect is the reason that I’ve had to pursue other orthodontic treatment. I am now in traditional braces and my orthodontist said I should be refunded for mistreatment. Had I known the process would take so long and include refinements that essentially got me nowhere, I certainly would not have signed up for this. When you sign your treatment plan there is no information that refinement plans may be needed to reach the results. That’s in my opinion, false advertising.

Appears as if this company is going…

Appears as if this company is going under due to COVID, stay far away-- finished treatment and waited 2 months for retainer sets and when they arrived, they were made out of a different material and as if from completely different teeth molds. Customer service is unreachable as I've been trying to get a refund on the defective products.
Pretty shocking considering how happy I was with my treatment just last year, although there was a significant delay between payment + treatment. For the price point, there are far better, faster, and more reliable services out there.
