Bait and switch service. Takes your crypto, sends you a code but fails to disclose that their partner company wants full KYC before they will provide what you paid for.
failure to disclose that condition up front counts as deceptive practice under FTC regulations.

I am giving this website one star. My payment was declined and the refund has been delayed, and their customer support is extremely slow and unresponsive. I contacted them multiple times and received no real help. Very disappointing experience and I do not recommend buying from this site.

Sorry to hear that you had this experience, our apologies for that. During the Christmas period it was busier than usual, which meant that responses sometimes took longer than expected. When a payment is declined but the amount is still received by us, we refund it as quickly as possible. Further processing depends on the banking system. In most cases, payments are processed successfully. Thank you for your feedback.

AVOID! I got scammed of £140 and they’ve ignored since.
I don’t usually write reviews (this is possibly my 4th or 5th in the years I’ve been on here) but I feel like I have to inform the public as to what a total scam this is.
All began on 19th December last week when I purchased 3x gift cards on Skine. I used DaoPay and my phone bill was £140.
I never received any confirmation email either (still to this day nothing).
I contacted them and got a response at first with check email etc etc.
Then, after the £140 had been taken, Skine went totally silent. I sent 8 emails over the course of the past week asking for either my £140 back because I had not received the items and I had all DaoPay and Skine screenshots to probe it was paid.
After 3 days and numerous emails by me sent to them (total silence never replied) one random reply came telling me to “try again” with the purchase. I said no because then I’d have another £140 taken from me (so £280 in total would have been stolen) and so thankfully I didn’t.
They have ignored all correspondence since and because of this I’ve reported it to the Financial Service Ombudsman for fraud.
I URGE everyone to avoid or you’ll end up scammed out of money like I have been. If it was a small sum like £10 I wouldn’t bother. But because of the sheer scale of fraud and then radio silence I felt compelled to warn others.
Tldr: AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

First, your payments via DaoPay were never completed and have remained in a pending status. Understandably, the order was never completed.
Then, we asked you to complete a KYC (identity) verification, and because this verification was not successfully completed, your orders could not be finalized and therefore remained pending.
If you would like, our team will be happy to review your case again and help you move forward with a solution. As I already see, your verification was accepted and your orders were successfully delivered to you.
If you still think there are discrepancies, please write to us at support@skine.com and we will go from there.
