I have shopped at Simons in Montreal for many years and also online….their customer service is absolutely THE BEST I have ever experienced!! Old school service at its best…..can’t wait until it opens in Halifax shopping centre this spring!! Love department stores and will continue to support them😊😊😊

This was my first time ordering from Simons and I was hesitant due to the negative reviews but they were offering a great deal on the item I was looking for so I decided to give them a try. I placed my order on January 1st and it was received on January 5th and I was able to track the package the entire way. The item was received in new condition as expected.

So overall, my experience with Simons was great.

I experienced two unexplained cancellations of my online orders - with no communication, other than emails stating 'order successfully cancelled'.

Items were listed as available on Simons' website at the time the orders were placed.

Why bother with this company?

Misleading shipping dates. Terrible customer service. Products did not arrive as displayed on the website — don’t bother buying throw pillows here. They will be ten times flatter than they appear in promo photos.

Do yourself a favor and listen to the reviews as they don’t lie!! The website is misleading as it states that their items are shipped via Canada Post. They use an unreliable courier. Definitely will never be purchasing from this site again.

Terrible customer service. It was my first time shopping on their app and a promo code didn't register during checkout. I noticed right away and contacted customer service to update the order. I get an email from Heather in the morning saying there's nothing she can do. Now I have to buy the same order again, use the promo code, and return the first order! It's a waste of everyone's time. Terrible experience.

I bought a dress in July which they said they had posted. It never arrived. I kept contacting them they eventually sent me a fake Cartier ring. They are refusing to refund me for the dress unless I return the fake ring. The mistake is theirs not mine and I am under no obligation to return something which I never requested in the first place. In my experience this is not a trustworthy company!

Its the same price and the shipping was very fast.
I was very impressed how nicely packed it was in a green box, silver thin ribbon and silver paper...(I ordered it for a friend)

I am always hesitant buying from shops I have either never heard of or shopped at before. I did check reviews before making a purchase. I found that the reviews for Simons were 50/50 so I decided to take the chance. So I placed my order on May 7th, I was sent shipping information the next day. The tracking update showed that the delivery company received the information and once they received the package it would update. It has been in that state for 3 days, (I do lots of online shopping, and it never sits in that state for that long). I contacted Simons this morning to check in, and was told that the delivery company lost the package. They offered to either refund my money or resend the package. Refunds take 3-5 days to go through, and who knows how long a new package will take to ship out. The service reps I dealt with were helpful and friendly, and their pricing seems decent, however I will not be ordering from them again.

I do like Simon's website and the products are usually pretty good quality however they are starting to appear a little shifty.
There is a $9 restocking fee on all returns and when something is damaged you have to fight to get your fees back. I highly recommend you pay by Payal as they guarantee your purchase.
Recently I noticed there is now a surcharge on top of the shipping fee on top of the tax. The fees usually add up to half of the purchase price. Not sure if I will continue to be a customer.

This brand ran a commercial that strongly suggested that I should die because I have some "incurable"
issues with health. Why a retail company would even feel the need to run an advertisement like this is beyond me.

Respectueux des clients. Lorsqu’il y a une erreur ou autre, ils prennent soins d’aider le client. Prix corrects, rabais parfois très avantageux!

Despite of all the negative reviews I do have to say I got all the specific mitts that I was looking for in one visit.
Annastaciia the cashier who arrived newly from Ukraine gave super service. She’s not perfect yet with the till but trying very best with a sincere smile and very friendly.
Thumbs up for a new comer service !!!

As a person with a serious illness it seems Simon's feels I should consider killing myself. I find this reprehensible. Immoral. This is a clothing manufacturing company. Stay the fu€k out of my personal decision on my life. I hope Canadians see the despicable sham of a company as the horrible people they are.

Simons' stores provide some of the best browsing and buying experience Canada has to offer, with beautiful layouts and displays. But Simons cannot stand behind the products they sell, even though a lot of them are premium brands retailed at a premium price. This includes the Tonnant boots which are listed for $275.

I purchased a pair of Kleman Tonnant Chelsea Boots around June 2022. Given the warm weather in Ottawa, I tried the pair on at home, was happy with the fit and stored it to be worn around the Fall. I put the boots on and wore them around town in September 2022. The left boot squeaked with every step. I thought this was due to needing to be broken in and didn't think much of it. The noise grew so loud and annoying that it was impossible to walk in an office environment without causing a distraction.

I contacted Simons Customer Service via email and the representative asked about the date of the purchase, the order number and asked me to send a video and picture of the boots. The representative then said that Simons is unable to help because it was past the return period (1 month from date of purchase) and suggested that I reach out to the manufacturer, Kleman. Kleman asked for a video and picture of the Tonnant boots and confirmed that it was a known issue among the model. I asked if I could have the boots fixed under warranty as it had been well less than a year of purchase. Kleman said that they would need to work directly with Simons and asked me to connect a Simons representative with Kleman. Simons has yet connected with Kleman nor I to resolve the issue.

Worst of all, Simons make it impossible to leave reviews of products on their website, unless you create an account BEFORE the purchase of a product. This creates significant barriers for consumers to share their experience and have a transparent market.

Overall, my experience with Simons has been disappointing and will not be returning to make another purchase.
