The institution that your family member(s) is incarcerated in does not use(Securtel.us) ask your family member(s)to find out from the institution where to send money which that institution authorized. Contact your bank and dispute that transaction and cancel your debit and credit card that you used.

This has got to be one of the worse businesses and I don't understand how they're still in business. It does not clearly state that they will charge you $45.98. I created an account by accident as I am new to this kind of stuff. I was just trying to send my brother $10 but signed up on the wrong site. IMMEDIATELY I reached out to them by phone. They didn't answer and had me leave a message. No one reached back out to me. So I left an email and they responded IMMEDIATELY trying to convince me to stay with their service after I clearly stated I signed up on the wrong website and would like a refund. From the creation of the account until I reached out to them was 5 minutes. These emails continued for 45 minutes with them trying to convince me to stay then got upset when I stated REPEATEDLY that I do not need their services. So basically I am out of $45.98 for absolutely nothing.

This place is horrible it didn't tell me it was going to charge me anything I went on there to purchase phone time for an inmate did not know it was going to charge me $50. It didn't even give me the option to purchase phone time and it says nowhere on there it was going to charge my card $50. This is the worst place and they're trying to tell me that they're not going to give me a refund. They will give me a refund I don't care if I have to spend $500 to get my $50 back I will. This place is horrible

It's horrible I didn't know that they where going to charge me in the beginning I checked my bank and saw that they charged me $49.98 and I didn't know they were going to charge me anything READ THE FINE PRINT YOU WON'T GET A FULL REFUND THEY CHARGE YOU $13.99 AND I GUESS GIVE YOU THE REST WITCH IS $31.99 WHEN I TRIED TO CANCEL THEY GAVE ME A HARD TIME AND SAID I SHOULD HAVE READ THERE TURNS AND CONDITIONS NO THEY SHOULD BE FORTHCOMING IN THE FIRST PLACE SO NO DONT USE THEM EVER AND ANOTHER THING THEY SAY YOU GET A DISCOUNT RATE BUT NO WHERE UN THEIR CONDITIONS SAY HOW MUCH THEY SAVE YOU ITS BOGUS AND ID TELL ANYONE THINKING ABOUT USING THERE SERVICE TO THINK TWICE...

I thought i was putting money on my son's debit acct.i gave them my billing information and then debit card information. Then i saw an invoice for $45.98. $16 of that was for state and federal taxes. I had not been asked how much i wanted to put on the acct. I was not given an opportunity to cancel the transaction. I was given a phone number to register with the prison. That number was a bogus number as the prison red flagged it and i could not registered it. I tried to cancel the transaction but they would keep $14 to do that. This is a scam and they belong in prison.

They are scammers BEWARE they charged my card $45 without even asking, then won't even give it back they keep begging me to stay they keep giving me the run around then all of a sudden today they're telling me hey we will give you back some but not all and I'm like wait what then there like it's our terms what! You didn't read them Ummmmmm NO how could I talk took my money out my account before I could sign anything or get to a page to read anything so count your days if anyone else was scammed by this company let's get them out of business this isn't ok taking advantage of people doing rough times like this smh it's not ok at all they need to pay and pay me back and everyone else they stole from and how is the BBB allowing this like how I really need answers They take money without even telling you how much they’re taking they don’t even let you choose the amount there’s not even an amount listed anywhere and all the complaints with the BBB why aren’t they doing anything

I too was trying to sign up for someone to be able to call home. This company charged 45.98 without my knowledge for a service that is supposed to reduce calls. When I emailed to tell them I did not want it they pretty well said I had agreed to it..and not their fault. If I had agreed I never got the chance to see it. Nor would I have agreed to give them that amount. They stole my money out of my account. I was only wanting to allow one call at a time..now they have took money that was intended to pay my car insurance and won't give it back or even acknowledge my last three emails asking for a refund. I was not even able to put 3.00 on his account now so he can call...due to fear of overdrawing my account. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau!! I've never seen anything like it..and don't know how they can sleep at night knowing they are cheating people out of their money. I am not the first one to be unhappy with this company.

I initially paid $45 for their service, only to later be told that I'd have to also go through another phone service and pay an additional $25 in order for my daughter to call me. When I emailed regarding a refund, I got CRICKETS!!! It's a RIP OFF!!

This has got to be one of the biggest scams going ! You can't contact anyone through the phone number or website provided. They have links to gtl and securus , which say they are not affiliated. This should be and will be reported to the FTC

I signed up for calling service for my grandson he was sent to detention center for violating his probation. I paid $45.98. After founding out that he counldn't use their service. I called and found out that they are not securus technology. I created an account with securus technology and paid $20.00 and my grandson was able to call me. I requested refund and they stated that can only give 31.00 of the money back. Because they charge $14.99 for cancellation fee. They are a scam.

I put money on yesterday by mistake I thought it was secur technology they took 47.48 from my bank now I don't know if my nephew can call me

Scam... yes they took $45.98 from me too. They will agree to refund part of it but that's not good enough. I have the bank disputing it now. Why can't the feds shut it down or prosecute them?

I accidently started an account with this company, mistaken for a closely named other company. Finally got a hild of someone to see about getting a refund. I waa charged $14.95 cancelation fees. Ive worked with card companies most of my life... These people are robbing people!!!!

This company is a scam and rip off. I set up an account. They took $45.98 without my permission. I contacted the company. They wouldn't refund the $45.98. instead a $14 cancellation fee would be deducted and the balance would be refunded. Then the call was conviently disconnected. I didn't cancel because I never signed up. This company needs to be reported to the authorities!

They don't tell you how much it cost until after you provide your credit card information and once you hit submit you make the purchase without getting to review anything. If you try calling any number on this site they are not working numbers. I tried before signing up. This appears to be a scam
