Beware Very high policy service charges
Very disappointed by the lack of transparency whereby the excessively high (£90 per policy amendment) agency service charges are not immediately evident to new purchasers. Whilst these are stated in the t’s and c’s, many customers may be unhappy to pay £90 for each and every occasion that a policy amendment is requested. I have cancelled my new policy from inception as a consequence. The lesson is to always read the t’s and c’s.

Our Terms of Business clearly state all charges, so there are no hidden fees, and customers can view our Terms at any point during or after purchase. We keep this as low as possible and only apply it to cover genuine costs.

Home insurance renewal
Home insurance renewal was due and I had an ongoing claim. Unsure of how to disclose this when getting quotes I asked for information and was passed back and forth whilst getting no answers.
When trying to renew I had questions that could not be answered without speaking to the underwriter who wasn't available at the time. Told they would call me back (renewal due the next day - a Saturday) and they never did. Then when I had to call on the Saturday to renew there were no notes of my questions on their system.
Essentially I was forced into a renewal at a cost nearly double the previous year because a claim from over 2 months ago was still ongoing and uncategorised. Not necessarily Rightsure's fault but frustrating.
The issues I had have been resolved now after a conversation which answered all the relevant questions I still had. Much more satisfied with the service provided now, however the advisors I initially spoke to could advise better to avoid the need for resolution after leaving a review.
