Initially Oliver Prescott and then Lucy Thompson handled this from start to finish with diligence, empathy, speed and professionalism. I was kept up to speed with the whole process and was provided with a hassle free service.

Buying an annuity is a really stressful activity - all that money, all those decisions that are going to affect you for the rest of your life. Retirement Line’s Annuity Specialist, William Niedzwiecki (and before him Daniel Milton) were wonderful - v clear in all their explanations and v patient when we kept asking for different quotes. Once we’d finally finalized our decisions about which one to buy, Lucy Thompson at Retirement Line took over to ensure that the purchase went ahead as quickly as possible - keeping us updated as things progressed. I’d wondered about using a broker because of paying commission, but I compared costs with buying direct and they looked similar. The commission is paid by the annuity provider and I would say that william and lucy deserve every penny of it. I highly recommend this company.

If you are coming up to retirement & looking for a Company to search the market for the best annuity rates etc, I would thoroughly recommend Retirement Line. I found them friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. I dealt primarily with Dan Milton & Safeen(Saf) Kauser, both of whom provided me with excellent & timely service. Between them they provided the info I needed to make an informed decision and kept me in the picture all the time as to the admin process. All the admin was done on my behalf so all was relatively stress free. An easy Company to deal with and I wasn't made to feel under pressure to make quick decisions.

A truly excellent service which exceeded my expectation in every way. Thomas Handley was prompt and reactive and carefully explained the product and process. The original quote was not the highest but I felt more comfortable with the individuals, their level of knowledge, experience, the service and the process than from other providers. In the end when the final amount came through from the annuity provider it exceeded the quote which was pleasing. Andrew Rist carefully monitored all aspects of the process start to finish and at all times I felt like I had a good understanding of where the process was and how long things would take. Cant recommend enough. If you are looking around just go with Retirement Line and stop your search you will be in safe hands.

A very smooth process-From the first contact and assistance in obtaining the ideal annuity right through to the payment of the pension .The whole process was first rate-did not feel rushed into making a decision ,regular updates throughout -could not have been easier .
I would certainly recommend Gearge Gilbert and John Quinn and will definitely be using them in the future.

Following multiple requests for quotes, I found the service was speedy, accurate, and responsive. Nothing was too much trouble. I delayed a couple of months in order for dividends to arrive. Again, when requesting quotes, the response was comprehensive and thorough. All carried out by Denise Hyland.
Once I had decided to go ahead, the engagement with the annuity provider was superb. From 23 July to 7 August the annuity was set up and first payment is due 3 September. Jasmine Soulby engaged with the Annuity Provider to organise and complete.

Three years ago my husband stumbled upon this company and I was with him throughout the journey. He found them excellent from start to finish.

I had a pension with Aegon. They were a total nightmare to deal with! I contacted retirement Line with a view to moving my funds. I initially dealt with Tony Jarman who was so easy to deal with. He explained everything clearly in plain English and found me a good transfer deal with Standard life. Scott Mulhern then took over and administered the changeover keeping me fully informed and up to date through the entire process. I now have my pension income secured at a great rate until I reach state pension age, meaning I can maintain a decent standard of living.

Great service and help from Oliver Prescott who initially contacted me when the flexible drawdown period finished and then great help with a good re-investment of my funds assisted by Beate Chinta, all set up for another 4 years until my retirement!

I recently bought an annuity via Retirement Line and the whole process was informative and smooth. My initial handler (Edward Starling) gave great advice on my options, but was also very clear on the advice he was not allowed to give. Communication was good and when I eventually made my choice of provider my case was handed over to Jasmine Soulby to liaise between my company pension fund and my annuity provider. Again communication was good and everything was delivered quickly.

I had an excellent experience with Retirement Line. It was good that you are given a personal consultant who guides you through the whole process and keeps you updated every step of the way. I’m usually a bit sceptic about these things, but found I had nothing to worry about. I would certainly recommend them to others.

As my mum was nearing retirement her employer provided details to contact retirement line as an option for further support. We initially spoke to David Brewer who assisted us with explaining options (without advice). We had several calls as my mum wanted to take time to reflect on the options and ensure she was making the correct choice. Every time we spoke to David he was polite, friendly and super helpful, an absolute assist to the company. Once we confirmed my mums choice David ensured he had collected all the details required to allow the retirement option to progress efficiently and smoothly.
At this point we were handed over to another colleague (Beate Chinta) who would be supporting the retirement option. Beate was again amazing keeping in contact via email with the updates. These emails were always straightforward to understand and allowed my mum to know what stage her pension option was at, without us having to chase. Again another fantastic colleague.
Once my mum confirmed her choice, and due to being very well prepared from our conversations with David, the timeframe for my mum to receive her pension was quicker than anticipated so Beate did an excellent job.
Overall the service was fantastic, payment was smooth and timely and would highly recommend.
