What a horrible experience. Truly awful. We picked the car up from an indifferent individual. It was not the same brand as I had reserved, but we accepted that.

After two weeks the flood warnings became a little more intense, so we decided to come back to Prague a day early. We found a parking spot in the same street where we picked it up. This was on the outskirts of Prague city centre, not on a specific parking lot, but just randomly on the side of the street.
We were informed that we could’t leave the car there a day early, because the business had 10 designated blue parking spots and they were all going to be occupied that day. Since we hadn’t contacted them beforehand we saw this as our consequence and parked the car on a paid spot somewhere else.

Next day, we arrived 30min before we were supposed to drop the car off on the same street. Every blue spot filled. Apparently they are allowed to put their cars on a few streets, which were all horrible in their accessibility. We found a temporary spot so one of us could go to the office and ask about space, but we were just told to “find a spot within the couple places they had”.

We had to drive around for an hour before a spot opened up. You couldn’t even wait somewhere near the blue spots because it’s a very busy road and loads of people use the parking space. Absolutely ruined our last day in Prague.

If you value your time and want a relaxed car rental experience, may I suggest to go somewhere where they have enough parking spaces.

Car pickup queuing time is very long, as many other customers do not use credit card but they need to hold up of 20000czk credit as deposit.

Staff speaks good English, good communication (I’m non-native English speaker and always have problem understand English with heavy assent)

I’ve got a free upgrade (and downgrade), from manual 5 seats to auto 4 seats. Which I’m happy about.

Car is very new, spotless clean in and out, with all the modern electronics.

They clearly explained car cannot be driven outside cz, how my 3rd party exceeds cover works, and stuffs I need to pay attention of.

I ran into a heavy rain when I was in a muddy parking lot, car gone very muddy, called and ask if I should wash before return and they said don’t worry about this.

They open until 10pm so I can keep my car a few more hours as I have a really late flight home that night.

A Nightmare Experience with RENT PLUS S.R.O.– Avoid at All Costs!
We recently had the unfortunate experience of renting a car from RENT PLUS S.R.O. and I can confidently say it was one of the worst decisions we ever made. From start to finish, the experience was riddled with issues that can only be described as a blatant scam.
Firstly, the pricing was misleading. When I initially booked the car online, the quoted price seemed reasonable. However, when I arrived to pick up the vehicle, they tacked on a series of unexpected fees that nearly doubled the price I was led to believe I’d be paying. These “added fees” were vague and poorly explained, leaving me feeling trapped and powerless. It was evident they rely on obscured pricing strategies to lure customers in.
The vehicle itself was in terrible condition. It was dirty, with leftover trash from previous renters, and the maintenance seemed neglected. When we brought these issues to the attention of the staff, they were dismissive and unhelpful, leaving us to fend for ourselves.
To make matters worse, when we returned the car, nothing was mentioned to us but after 24 hrs. we were accused of damages that were already present when we took the vehicle. They charged our credit card on file without our authorization for fictitious repairs, despite many attempts to reverse their charge they did not reply to our request. Their customer service was non-existent; We felt completely disregarded as a customer. They are a company created, designed and in business of defrauding their customer through lies, deception and fraud.
The cherry on top of this is $1500 charge for claiming that we drove to Mostar, Bosnia for 3 Hrs. without permission. They never told us that during our rental pickup. Also dreadful experience was the difficulty I faced in reaching their customer service after the rental. We were put on hold for what felt like an eternity, only to receive unhelpful responses that did nothing to resolve my concerns or disputes over the additional charges.
In summary, my experience with RENT PLUS S.R.O. was not just disappointing—it was a complete scam. I urge anyone considering renting from them to think twice and avoid this company like the plague. Instead, look for more reputable companies that value their customers and operate transparently. Save yourself the frustration and find a rental service that treats you right!

Absolute disgusting scamming company! It's perfect if you want to have a taste of how blackmailing in a foreign country felt like!
We rented a car from Rentplus via NU rental and have already PAID upfront, the cost had already included the rental price as well as the insurance (Loss Damage Waiver, Third Party Liability....). However when we were asked to pay for an extra insurance which we have already been paid for when we fetched the car. They refused to hand the car over if we refused to pay which was absurd because we were asked to pay twice for the insurance. The car itself was 181GBP for 4 days but the extra insurance which we was scammed for was 200euros! We tried to argue with the staff but he refused to explain anything and keep pushing us to pay for the extra. We contacted NU car rental, the staff told us they will contacted w/ Rent Plus and kept us in the loop of whether the scammed money can be refundable but turned out there were no updates afterward. We were very disappointed of how we've been treated and please avoid this scamming company.

Rented a car via Discovercars.Com (which has 5* ratings). Only, to be sold off to Rent Plus. I waited well over 2 hours in a queue at Prague airport, just to collect the car. There were several other car rentals, and NONE of them had any queue. They did not even have queueing facilities. However, Rent Plus is well prepared with stanchions and ropes going zig zag a few times. There were easily 50 people in front of me in the queue, which took me over 2 hours to clear. NEVER EVER EVER will I use or even recommend them again! DISGRACEFUL!
(Also, they try and sell you more insurance, around 600 euros, alternatively your excess is a few thousand Euros on the car)

Arrived at Prague airport. Long queue for car hire pick up. Took nearly 2 hours.
Had already purchased full insurance package online. Guy at desk informed me that the insurance was only 3rd party despite it saying full cover. He said it wasn’t valid & I would have to buy their insurance as I was not covered. This ended up costing another £600!
Avoid this company at all costs! Complete scam with the insurance!

My flight arrived early and I couldn't get the ordered car before the appointed time. I had to sit at the airport for 4 hours. This is the first time I encounter such a terrible service.

We had a good experience with rental plus in Prague. We bought the full ensurance and paid to be able to cross borders. Even though the ensurance is expensive the total price is still cheaper than competing companies

I had very bad experience in Brno Turany Airport car rental, I prepayd rental and insurance via EXPEDIA car rental, but when I arrived to "NU"-rental comp. - for which work over there in BRNO - Rent plus the want it 120.000 CZK deposit and I couldn´t pay this - so they forced me to pay extreme expensive additional car insurance "PLATINUM CAVERAGE" which cost me triple, then rental fee per day. DO not rent from this Rent plus company. Very bad experience & crazy pushing me buy demanging over $ 5.000 deposit & very expensiv Platinum coverage- for which I payd, but did not receive any documents about The Platinum car insurance. Be aware & avoid rent car from this company. It may be a scam wit that high fee for car insurance, whie they not provide any documentation to you, that you even have it !!!!

Ich habe bei Rentplus ein Auto gemietet (Buchungsreferenznummer: CZ106865070) und während meiner Reise keine zusätzlichen Dienstleistungen in Anspruch genommen. Dennoch wurde mir nach der Rückgabe des Fahrzeugs ohne jegliche Erklärung oder Vorwarnung ein Betrag von 254,55€ abgebucht.

Als ich Rentplus kontaktierte, um den Grund für diese Abbuchung zu erfahren, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass es sich um eine Strafe für grenzüberschreitendes Fahren handelt. Ich habe jedoch alle vertraglichen Reisebeschränkungen beachtet und bin in keinem der verbotenen Länder gefahren. Zudem zeigte die vom Vermieter zur Verfügung gestellte Tracking-Karte Diskrepanzen auf, da Orte angezeigt wurden, die ich nie besucht habe.

Trotz mehrmaliger Kontaktaufnahme und Vorlage von Beweisen für meine Einhaltung der Reisebeschränkungen, verweigerte Rentplus die Rückerstattung der unberechtigt abgebuchten Summe. Der Kundenservice war äußerst unkooperativ und schien kein Interesse an der Klärung des Sachverhalts zu haben. Darüber hinaus wurden meine weiteren Anfragen einfach ignoriert.

Ich kann Rentplus aufgrund dieser unrechtmäßigen Abbuchung und des schlechten Kundenservices nicht weiterempfehlen. Ich rate dringend davon ab, bei diesem Unternehmen ein Auto zu mieten.

We rented a car in Prague from RentPlus from 25-29 May. Upon returning the car, I was unexpectedly charged 6300 CZK for cross-border fee + fine, despite informing the RentPlus representative that our main destination was Austria at the counter and being assured Austria was okay and permitted and making you sign the document without this fee.

Even we were told from the same person that tolls in the Czech Republic were included, and we only needed to purchase a vignette for Austria, which we did. RentPlus has refused to acknowledge this and saying that we did not say anything to them about Austria and falsely claimed that the charge was valid and refused the refund.

I made a mistake by not checking their profile here before renting because I trusted RentalCars, but they have been of no help and seems to side with RentPlus as well without any further check.

This kind of fraudulent behavior is unacceptable. Numerous similar complaints on TrustPilot show a pattern of dishonesty and you can even see the same story from another person here. It appears this is another way for them to make money while misleading their customers or they don't know how to educate their staff and the customer pays the price.

Avoid RentPlus at all costs – they are deceptive and untrustworthy.

Never rent from this place! The guy behind the counter takes advantage of you with a huge deposit of 1000 euros!
We returned the car but not exactly in the location he wanted. Tough to find a spot to return a car especially if you are new to the place. We left our phone cord in the car and he didn't even check to see if it was in the car. Just rented it to someone else next day. So he says!!
Rent from PRG airport. Much easier

I reserved a car from RentPlus via DiscoverCars. The rental conditions included, among other things, road assistance and excess of approx. 1600 Euros in case of an event. When I got to the rental desk, even though it was clealy stated in the voucher, the guy there insisted that road assistance is not included and that the excess is 10% of the car's value. He insisted on selling us additional insurance costing 450 Euros, while the cost of the entire rental for 9 days was 167 Euros. We took the risk and did not buy the offered insurrance. But this agency is certainly running a scam. DO NOT RENT FROM RENTPLUS, I WILL CERTENLY NEVER WILL!!!

THEY STEAL MONEY UNDER FALSE PRETENCES. We purchased car insurance for our holiday through another company. When we came to pick up the car we were told unless we pay £177 to them, we cant pay the deposit and therefore cant have the car as the Discover car insurance isnt valid. Late at night with 2 young children with us, we had no option. Turns out it was a total lie. Now I have asked them for my money back, they are ignoring my e mails. The deposit was paid back but they kept £1.03, probably just to be annoying. If they keep £1 from everyone, I imagine that is quite a sum of money without getting caught. ABSOLUTE DISGRACE OF A COMPANY.

Rented from them once and no problem But I had to report 3 scratches damages on the car myself with photos that were not figuring on the damage report document they gave me.
This time when the desk agent asked me If I would cross a border I said I will (as I've did on previous rental). But he didn't charge me on the spot and when I 've asked him if I was good paying wise he told everything is paid in advance (online Booking) and if something missing it would be charged afterward.
I shouldn't have thrusted him : received an invoice including the border crossing 1300 csk + a fine of 5000 czk !!
So now let's have fun, I've expected a scam from them sooner or later so my bank and legal insurance will come into the dance now.
And quoting all the users feedback here and from google etc., it won't be hard to win the case.

Too bad I did not read the reviews before renting with this company.
I booked for a low price, than they tell you you will be hugely charged for any scrach to push you into buying their full cover. They said one price and charged much much higher. Then I was a bit late, again they overchared me.
STAY AWAY!!!

I want to submit a complaint for the sales person at the desk that gave me the document. He was extremely rude, got loud, and tried to scam me with selling me extra insurance coverage. When I politely asked him multiple times to refrain from this as I already have full coverage he yelled at me that I will not have any coverage when I have an accident and that I won't have any support.

This has been a horrifying experience. Luckily my insurance AXA already told me that you would try and scam me out of money for coverage I don't need. It was horrible.

Additionally the fuel was not full. The service didn't not care when I complained.

Pongo una estrella por el coche, prácticamente nuevo y muy limpio. La atención en el aeropuerto.... como no hables inglés estás fastidiado. La persona que nos atendió un borde rallando la mala educación. Llevo tres días reclamando no sólo la fianza, sino que cobraron de más, pude comprobarlo al recibir las facturas (alquilé dos coches). No admiten pagos via teléfono, sólo tarjeta física, con lo que (al no tener tarjeta de banco en Rep. Checa) te cobrarán luego el banco la comisión correspondiente por el cambio de divisas. Yo había preparado la Revolut en coronas y me exigieron tarjeta física tanto para el pago como para la fianza. De momento no tengo ninguna respuesta sobre lo pagado de más ni la fianza pese a enviarles diversos correos. En el mismo aeropuerto hay agencias que sí hablan español y que, creo, funcionan bastante mejor aunque salgan un pelín más caras. El seguro a todo riesgo que contratas con ellos (no se os ocurra llevar otro seguro contratado a través de Rentalcars por ejemplo porque no os vale) es casi más caro que el propio coche.... La próxima lo tengo claro, aunque, después de alquilar coches en muchas ocasiones tanto en España como fuera, la mayoría funcionan bastante mal

Perfect car rental. Had them many times and never had a problem.

The worst company ever. We were waiting for our deposit more than 2 month and did not receive it. They charged us 925 euro for existing damages. We have all pictures and video. We send pictures and got reply that this is not evidence.
You not able even contact them directly, everything is through Booking.com.
Avoid them to save your money.
