I want to share my extremely worst and pathetic experience with RedBus, Safer Express, and Sameer Travel.
I had booked a ticket from Agra to Guna for 14th April at 11:20 PM through RedBus. The bus operator was Safer Express, and the boarding point was Sameer Travel, Idgah Agra.

The journey itself was highly unsafe. The driver was overspeeding throughout the trip and covered the distance in just 4 hours, which clearly reflects reckless driving.
On 15th April early morning (around 5:05–5:30 AM), while I was getting down from my upper berth to collect my laptop bag, I was standing on the stairs holding the pillar with one hand. Due to the excessive speed and a sudden brake by the driver, I lost my balance and fell down with great force. This resulted in three fractures in my spine, which is a serious and life-threatening injury.
I had to rush to the hospital immediately.
What is even more disappointing is the behavior of all three parties after the incident. I requested CCTV footage as proof for my office medical leave:
RedBus representative (Tina) denied sharing the footage.
Safer Express representative (Seema) said the owner did not allow it.
Later, they falsely claimed that the camera was not working, even though I clearly saw that it was functioning.
I have been continuously chasing RedBus, Safer Express, and Sameer Travel for the footage, but no one is taking responsibility or providing any support.
This entire experience shows complete negligence, lack of accountability, and zero concern for passenger safety.
I strongly advise everyone to avoid booking through RedBus and traveling with Safer Express or Sameer Travel. It is highly unsafe, and in case of any emergency, you will not receive any support.
Very disappointed and frustrated with such irresponsible service.

One of the worst bus I have choosen..........i think......mainai 3 tickets (2 lower sleeper which costed 3000/- and one seater for 1000/- which was done via offline mode with proper receipt........ As soon as we arrived at the bus stop and i don't who was he may ticket collector....... And then bhaii....... Very bad experience, traveling with my husband from pune to Hyderabad,We both are senior citizens, since no reservation was available in the train, choose Red bus to travel.After long waiting for halt when tried to use toilet,driver and conductor both done misbehave with us,can't explain here.
Avoid redBus at all costs - Horrible Experience
I'm writing this review to warn others about the terrible experience I had with redBus. I booked a sleeper bus, but when I boarded, I was shocked to find it was a seater bus with no prior intimation. The worst part was a female passenger who was heavily drunk and had alcohol with her. Despite this, she was allowed on board without any checks. She even poured alcohol in the bus, making the environment unbearable and our bags reeked of it.
The lack of security checks and care for passengers is appalling. I urge redBus to take strict action against carrying alcohol on board and ensure passenger safety. Till then, I'll be avoiding redbus.

I paid extra for a no-fee cancellation…
I paid extra for a no-fee cancellation and when I cancelled they only returned half my money. Before cancellation I was given confirmation that I would receive a full refund and only after I confirmed I was emailed saying that I would only receive half. I have tried calling multiple times but the only way I can get through is to give the last 4 digits of my ticket number and EVERY TIME it says it’s not recognised. There is literally no other way of contacting them. DO NOT pay extra for cancellation insurance as it is a SCAM
Disappointing experience with RedBus
Disappointing experience with RedBus. I paid ₹1600 for 2 seats, but the bus condition was very poor and unhygienic. Curtains were dirty with stains and bubblegum, interiors were damaged, and even cockroaches were seen in the sleeper area.
My earlier booking was cancelled last moment, so I had to book this urgently. Also, proper bus details were not provided.
The bus had a 4-star rating, which is clearly misleading. Attaching photos as proof. Not recommended.
I Formal Complaint Against Bus Driver for Misconduct and Unsafe Drop-Off
I am writing to formally report a serious incident involving one of your bus services booked through redBus (Raj Kalpana).
My relative, Mrs. Savita Singh, along with her child, had a confirmed ticket from Akbarpur (Kanpur Dehat) to Pari Chowk, Greater Noida. The journey took place early in the morning, around 5:00 AM.
Unfortunately, the driver, Mr. Jeetu Thakur (Contact: 9335669298), behaved in a highly unprofessional and threatening manner. Despite having a valid ticket to Pari Chowk, he forcefully asked them to get off the bus approximately 5–6 kilometers before the designated stop.
When questioned, the driver responded with threats and arrogance, stating that no one could take action against him and that he would continue to act as he pleased. This behavior is completely unacceptable, especially considering that a woman and a small child were left stranded in an unfamiliar area at such an early hour.
This incident raises serious concerns about passenger safety, accountability, and service reliability. If any harm had occurred, your organization would have been fully responsible.
I request strict action to be taken against the driver and assurance that such incidents will not happen in the future. Additionally, I expect a formal apology and clarification on the safety measures you have in place for passengers.
I hope you treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves.

Very disappointing experience with RedBus. I requested cancellation/rescheduling 5 hours before boarding, but the support team denied it saying it’s not in the bus operator policy. This was not clearly communicated during booking. Customers should be properly informed about such strict policies in advance.
False offers by Flixbus and Redbus
I traveled 5 times between Bangalore to Thoothukudi by Flixbus in the last 2 months. Did the boking through Redbus. Not even once the bus has been punctual. Take 14+ hrs as the Bus takes detour into towns and cities instead of taking Bye pass. Absolutely no time sensitivity. The length of side berth is small and have to bend the legs while sleeping. There was an offer of Travel 4 times and get free ticket for the 5th time. When I booked the 5th time, I got to know that the free ticket was only for Rs700. If I take the amount for the 5 trips, Rs700/ works to be just 10% discount, which even other Travels provide just for a 2 way trip. This is a TOTAL SCAM by REDBUS and FLIXBUS
