GPS Tracking gone wrong
Last month, exactly April 22nd i booked a bus from Cochin to Bangalore. I was at my friend's place and as the GPS tracking showed that the Bus will reach my destination in 30 mins, i reached there. Then as per GPS bus took a uturn and went back to the central bus stand. While calling they didnt pick up. They responded to my call after 2 hours informing the bus will reach me in another 1 hour. Who will compensate the time i spend waiting there??

Very bad experience with the RedBus app. There is no proper customer care support if users face any issues. They simply blame the bus companies and do not take responsibility for customers' money. Please avoid using the RedBus app if possible, and directly book through the bus companies' websites. If you choose RedBus, you may face trouble until you reach your destination.

I traveled twice from Pune to Bilaspur using RedBus bookings and both times it was a complete waste of time and money. RedBus is not maintaining any quality standards for the bus operators listed on their platform. The buses were in very poor condition, seats were uncomfortable, cleanliness was bad, and basic facilities were not working properly. Instead of a comfortable journey, the whole travel experience became stressful and frustrating. Very disappointed with RedBus service and support.

Absolutely terrible experience. Zero customer service. Never trust RedBus if you expect real support when something goes wrong.
Most of their support is AI/chat-based, and reaching an actual human is a struggle. Even when you finally connect to someone, calls get disconnected randomly, there are no proper follow-ups, and complaints stay unresolved for months.
In my case, the bus dropping point was changed unexpectedly, and RedBus provided absolutely no help or accountability. Completely unreliable support system.

The worst bus customer support.... Im currently in the Bus going to Pune and the Bus AC is not working... the Bus bedsheet is torn. I was on hold for 10 minutes with the customer support team and then they cut the call without any response.... I even did an app chat with the customer support team and there was no response there too.

Dhriya Travels abruptly switched our booking from a sleeper coach to an old 3+2 seater bus with non-functional push-back seats, causing a 5-hour delay. We arrived at the designated point at 10:30 AM instead of the scheduled 5:30 AM.
Before departure, their representative promised a 50% refund via RedBus, but no amount has been credited to date.
This marks the third incident in the past month—our buses were canceled on the travel date the previous two times. It appears RedBus prioritizes commissions from operators over quality control, registering unreliable and fake travel agencies without oversight. After these experiences, I've deleted the RedBus app and will advise all my relatives, friends, and colleagues to do the same. It is always better to book directly from bus operator website.

Worst experience with redBus. I missed the bus by just 10 minutes, and the driver cancelled my ticket immediately without any support. No refund at all. This feels like cheating. Very unfair service and no proper customer care. Not recommended.

Absolutely worst experience with redBus. This “3X Refund Guarantee” is nothing but a misleading marketing gimmick.
I paid ₹500 EXTRA per ticket for this so-called guarantee. My total booking was ₹8,275. When my train tickets didn’t get confirmed, instead of a proper refund, they returned only ₹6,100.
The remaining amount? Forced into a ₹6,000 voucher with ridiculous conditions:
Valid for only 7 days
Can be used only within a 100 km radius of the original route (Kalyan–Veraval)
This makes the voucher practically useless. How is this a “3X refund” when customers don’t even get their own money back?
This is clearly designed to trap customers with hidden terms and force repeat bookings.
Customer support is equally disappointing—no accountability, no proper resolution.
This was a complete waste of money and time. Highly misleading service. I will NEVER use this platform again and strongly warn others to stay away from such deceptive offers.

Very disappointing experience with RedBus. I booked a semi-sleeper ticket from Chennai to Virudhunagar (7:20 PM – 4:20 AM) with Uma Travels, but the bus arrived late and picked us up at 7:40 PM. At Porur Toll Gate, we were made to wait nearly 2 hours without any proper communication.
Later, we found out the bus didn’t have proper state permission, and authorities stopped it for penalty processing. This caused a huge delay. As of early morning, I had only crossed Villupuram and still had 4–5 hours left to reach my destination. I was traveling for an important family function, and this completely disrupted my plans.
Customer support response was even worse—they suggested I cancel and find another bus at night from an unknown location, which is unsafe and unrealistic, especially for women travelers.
Due to the long and uncomfortable journey, I’m now experiencing leg swelling. This is not the service expected from a platform like RedBus. They should ensure proper verification of operators and prioritize passenger safety.

I had a bad experience because the pickup time was 6:00 PM, and even though we reached on time, the vehicle did not stop for us. They asked us to travel 36 km ahead by a private vehicle. They made only one call at the scheduled time, but my phone was busy at that moment, and we were at the same location. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
Additionally, when we departed from Mumbai, we were made to wait for almost two hours. The pickup time was 9:45 PM, but the vehicle arrived at 11:00 PM. At Ganpatipule, the pickup time was 6:00 PM, and even though we reached exactly on time, we were informed that the vehicle had already left.
