This will be the second time that I have purchased a car from Prestige cars in Kent and the service level is always friendly and efficient. I met with Jess yesterday on the sales desk, who assisted me with my new car purchase, she was very friendly, helpful and extremely professional.

Was interested in a car via a post/advert I had seen. Mentioned I was a cash buyer and wanted to see and test drive the vehicle. Called to enquire and made an appointment. Once I arrived I was told to sit in the waiting area. After 30min I hadn't even seen the sales person I made the appointment with, or offered some water/drink. Waited another 20min and still hadn't seen anyone. Customer service is ridiculous

I am sharing my experience so others know exactly what to expect — or rather, what to be prepared for.

I first saw a car I was interested in on Auto Trader, enquired, and reserved it, paying a holding deposit. I had arranged to travel down to see and test drive it on the Saturday, but happened to be in the Bromley area on the Thursday, so I contacted them to say I’d come over then instead. I paid for an Uber all the way out to their site — which is in a very isolated, rural location down a back road — with two family members.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was uncomfortable and unmistakably discriminatory. Every single member of staff on the showroom floor was young and English — not one person from any other ethnicity working there. One young man in particular was openly hostile, giving us the most disgusted, foul looks the entire time we were there — it was palpable. We were made to wait a long time before anyone even acknowledged us.

When I explained I’d reserved the car and was there to test drive it, they eventually took me outside. They opened the car door — but would not turn the engine on. I couldn't see the dashboard, couldn't wind the windows down, couldn't properly inspect the vehicle. I noticed scuffs on the side — the car was advertised as immaculate, but it wasn't. When I said we were there to test drive it, I was told I would need to go through security checks and references first — something I have never been asked to do in my life, even at high-end dealerships. I have held a full driving licence for nearly 25 years, I’ve owned many cars including multiple BMW 5 Series, and I’m a serious buyer — but the barriers kept going up the moment I arrived.

It felt very clear: once I was actually there in person, they did not want my business. The whole experience — the coldness, the excuses, the refusal to let me properly see or drive the car — felt purely down to race. It was humiliating and completely unacceptable. I have bought cars from showrooms costing three times as much and never been treated like this.

I asked for my deposit back immediately and left. That was several days ago now — and I still have not received my refund!!!!!.
• If you are not English — or not the 'type' of customer they expect — do not waste your time, money, or energy travelling out there.
• The treatment is shocking, the attitude is appalling, and you will be made to feel unwelcome.
• I cannot recommend this company to anyone. There are plenty of reputable dealerships that treat all customers with basic respect — go to one of those instead.
P.S I contacted the company today 26/08/2026 to ask where my refund is and spoke to a very RUDE LIAM!! he told me that I needed to give him extra bank details first and I explained that it just needs to be refunded back to the same payment and that on Thursday 20th August last week the person didn't say that and I was in front of him, he said he was going to refund the money straight away, even after telling him what the guy said Liam continued to be RUDE! and slammed down the phone. I called back and spoke with another person I didn't get his name but he was perfectly fine and not Rude, I asked for my refund and he said it will get refunded and will take 3-5 working day and it is with there finance team.
Also the response from the company about I am not verified is lies because, I can send Trustpilot my bank transaction payment to Prestige Cars Kent and the emails sent from them and my Uber receipt and call log to the company incoming & outgoing proving that I was at Prestige Cars Kent and I paid a refundable deposit and my experience is Truthful & VALID

A car on their website attracted my interest. I called them on Friday at 15:20 and after a 10 minute call paid a reservation fee to see the car and test-drive the following Tuesday. Got confirmation messages re my appointment. Received reminder call the day before my appointment at 19:35. On the day of appointment, I received a call 2 hours before the time that the car was no longer being sold. Waiting for my refund which I’m told is going to take between 3 to 5 working days. What a disappointment and a shamble of customer service!

Terrible experience from start to finish , I had pre agreed work before buying the car and on multiple occasions I’ve been let down due to no Courtesy car being available , constantly being told I’d be called back to which never happened . After spending £20000 on a car from them I believe the service has been completely un acceptable so I left a 1 star review , we we arrived at the service centre to have my pre agreed work carried out I was greeted by there very rude manager not with a hello instead she said I am the manager here you’ve left a 1 star review can you delete it , I find this kind off attitude after the amount of money spent and hassle caused completely unacceptable. However multiple staff have been very helpful unfortunately I can’t say that about them all

Had an appointment with Billy today and it was absolutely chaos when we arrived. We were told to wait 5mns but 20mns later, no one was ready for us or came to check up on us. We simply left, no one noticed or even called us about appointment ....
Terrible customer service.
