Pier 1 Imports Arvostelua 

I have ordered a chair on 4/27/2020. As of tonight I have NO information on when it will be shipped ( says it is being processed.) I have tried more than several times to get in contact with customer service with no success- they are MIA. Chair has been paid for. If I had read some of these reviews I would not have shopped at Pier 1, at all. They use the excuse that due to the virus things are being delayed and they have a reduced staff, etc. While I understand that this is a difficult time for businesses if Pier 1 can not get these paid orders filled so they can be shipped out for customers to receive then store should not do online. I am not a satisfied customer and the lack of service is inexcusable. Very disappointing and will not recommend your business.

Bought a chair from store in ST Augustine FL had it shipped to my house and was damaged. I e-mailed no response ! I called customer service on hold for a hour. No one picks up. HORRIBLE ! And they expect to get paid. Never will I shop there again.

Be careful purchasing online from Pier 1 during this coronavirus pandemic. Pier 1 is taking advantage of the situation. I purchased a chair and ottoman on 3/22/2020 for my wife's birthday. The order was NOT processed for shipping due to the Pier 1 stores suddenly closing due to covid 19. They never notified me nor did they offer to ship to my home, which they are still offering for free. I had purchased the chair and ottoman with a special offer and free ship to store BEFORE restrictions had been in place to close stores. I contacted Pier 1 customer service on 3/24/2020 and sat on hold 46 minutes. I wanted to change the shipping to my house using the free ship to home option and they refused unless they could cancel this order and redo it where I would lose my discounted price! They actually wanted to charge me more money for the same furniture!! I told him, customer service to cancel my order completely on my credit card. I was then told they could NOT cancel my order, as the stores are closed. I did NOT order this from the store, I ordered online and they are refusing to cancel my order on a chair and ottoman that is sitting in a warehouse. I was told they cannot ship free to my home even though FREE UPS is offered for online purchases with code "Use code LUCKYFS* includes furniture", unless I  pay more for the furniture. REALLY!! They refuse to cancel my order and I WAS told I will have to cancel the order when the furniture gets shipped to the store in possibly in "four weeks or months!" My wife and I have been loyal Pier 1 customers for over 25 years, but never again will we ever purchase from them.

I've never had any credit card decrease my credit Limit, the bank they use for there credit cards checked my credit report twice and decreased my credit limit twice but they never lost any money from me or my wife. I don't do business with companies If they thought I wouldn't pay my bill then they should have never issued the card to me. beware of the Comenity bank they will check your credit report and if your score goes down a little the they will decrease your credit limit in half the each time I have several other cards in my wallet all in good standing and this happened. I just paid them of and told them to close my account and will never buy anything from pier 1 again.

Pier1 screwed up my billpay and then they charged me for it . I am no longer a happy Pier1 credit card holder !!

I find the mattresses on this site are marketed at good price, are of a good quality. When you lie down after a busy day, it provides relaxation. I recommended this product to my friends.

I have shopped here for years; almost my entire house is furnished from Pier 1. Not only is the furniture quality, the staff has always been very kind, very willing to help with any issue, etc.
I contacted them the other week inquiring if I could order a part for my Swingasan Chair that I had lost. They responded to me within a day, on Sunday no less, and stated they'd send me the part at no charge. I had it within 2 days. Really considerate company, they didn't have to send me the part and certainly could've charged me for it. Will continue to be a loyal customer <3
