The service is very good, the people on the end of the phone always helpful. I have never had any problems with my claims.
My only criticism is PIA still use snail mail for communications when it would be much easier and quicker to send an email if there are any questions about a claim. Also the website has the claim number up but you cannot get any further information on the progress of the claim.

Generally easy to use for Pet Health treatment. however some items have capped amounts these days and with a pet with chronic allergies it means greater cost I am having to payout.

Very easy, great to be able to lodge the claim online. Received payment back within a few days direct into my account. Thank you guys, very happy!!

Having used another pet insurance provider before PIA, the 2 are night and day. PIA is extremely easy to use, submit claims online and the commutation you receive is very good. I even recommended PIA to my Vet I rate them so highly. Never any issues with rejected claims unlike my previous provider. 11/10

Relatively quick payments when most needed! Immediate SMS to say they've received the claim but slow communication to say it has been paid - it just appears in your account one day. A little hiccup with having to resend a history that had already been sent but this was minor.

Excellent claim process all done through our vet so was a double bonus for me so easy and money paid into our account within no time at all.

We sadly had to make a claim as milo our dog was unwell- very simple to process claim online,

Prompt service. I would highly recommend Pet Insurance Australia as my recent claims have been paid within 2 days of lodging them online.

Taking too long to process ‘expensive’ claims despite having an accepted pre-authorisation. When the claim is initially rejected, a letter is sent by post with little to no explanation for the reason. I make a call and informed they require more info. Why can’t that be a phone call?! This delays the process by weeks!

When my dog had an accident and needed an emergency trip to the after hours vet, I was able to rely on PIA for an easy process and fast pay out.

Pet insurance has a long way to go. Until loyal customers with aging pets don't get better benefits and piece of mind that their insurance is there to help them through later years, it will only be a money grabbing company.

Great value quality cover I know I can depend on when needed. Easy hassle fee claims. Highly recommend.

Our dog did his CCL in his knee and being a large dog $$$$$ however our claim was paid within 10days and when I called for an update was met with lovely helpful service !! After hearing bad stories of other providers Petinsurance Aus is a good deal
