Quite a wait for the job to be completed, which was not a problem, however this would have been a little more comfortable if the tea/coffee making facilities had been replenished.

Booked my car in for mot and service…
Booked my car in for mot and service over a week ago. Checked my mot status and there was some advisories regarding the sun strip and tints to the rear lights. Car was mot'd and serviced last year at the exact same garage, car was in the exact same condition however these were not picked up.
I emailed the garage regarding this multiple times and they failed to respond straight away. When I finally did get a response from the aftersales manager, he advised that the technician followed the rules and procedures when testing the vehicle. I then questioned did the technician not do this the previous year and was told different technicians work different ways. I also questioned why I wasnt called and given the option to remove the tints during the testing. His response was that they didn't want to damage the vehicle. They then Offered for me to go over, remove the tints and pay for retesting. I did however report that last year my number plate spacing was flagged and the garage called and asked if I wanted this rectified at a cost. Clearly the reason I was not offered things to be rectified this time because it wouldnt have made them any extra money.
Very poor customer service from beginning to end. When collecting my car this evening I was also made to feel like some sort of criminal as I was escorted to the vehicle. I WILL NOT be using this garage again in the future and will encourage anyone thinking of using them going forward to go elsewhere, especially if you have any minor modifications. Seems they change the goal posts & rules for their own benefits, and cover there own backs.
Your MOT tests should all be carried out with every individual tester following the same guidelines it should not be tester dependent.
The advisories also it states that a clear amount of light can be seen, so should never be an advisory in the first place.

Shocking Overall Service
Communication, service and general customer care was very very poor and sadly lacking. Had to chase to see if the car was ready, only to discover that after 6 and a half hours the car was still in the bay I had left it in and it hadn't been looked at. I had requested it be ready for between 3.30 and 4pm, but was then advised it would be 5.30pm and even then it wouldn't be complete due to the amount of work required, this was known previously so why wasn't prevision made in advance or acted upon sooner. This is actually the 5 time the car has been in for the same issue which in itself is very frustrating with a vehicle that is only 15 months old. Overall just a consistently shocking performance from a major player in that particular field.

Disappointing follow-up to major service
I was very disappointed with the response to my problem when only 4 days after a major service the dashboard warning light and the SOS red warning light came on demanding a ‘workshop visit’!
I was told it would be 8days before they could see my car! I could still drive it said the Receptionist! What does she know?
What damage could I be doing to the engine?
It could be that some re-set of instruments was missed at the service but I’m most unhappy at driving it around for 8 days with a Fault Light showing on the dashboard!
This is poor follow-up service which spoils the otherwise good experiences I’ve previously had.
