Parkway Volkswagen Arvostelua 

Having dropped off the car on the 14th October I was led to believe it might take a day or two, I was then told the part required would take a week and a half to get although it was known what the fault was two weeks before the car was taken in. I phoned after the the time passed for the part to arrive and was told it should be on ramp the next day (Friday 23) I heard nothing, so I phoned up on the following Tuesday and was told it would definitely be done by the end of the week again nothing so after another phone call I was told it was being worked on and should be ready at the end of the day (Friday 30) but no call came. Finally I received a call on Monday the 2 November to say it was completed. At no point did I receive any information to say why the delay.If I was told the truth from the start as to how long it would take I wouldn’t of had a problem with it but to be told basically lies time and time again was a disappointment to say the least

Had a problem checked the car over. Everything was checked and everything was okay. Handled my worries and fears with respect and non judgemental.

Recently bought a new VW t cross from VW Parkway Northampton.
Josh Hunt was excellent and explained everything along every step of the way nothing was too much of a problem for him. He even came in on his day off to hand the car over to us and explained the controls. Would recommend Parkway Northampton to anyone and once again a big thank you to Josh.

Had my car serviced at Parkway Leicester VW. My Car was picked up by Ian who took my car for its service and then delivered it back to me a few hours later. The car had been washed and looked fantastic. The whole experience was superb, i was kept informed all the time of progress. Thank you to Ian and all the other people who looked after me and my car. Well deserved praise given.

Excellent service when we had an issue with our VW Golf recently purchased from Parkway Leicester. From notifying Daniel (Sales) to completion of the work everything was hassle free. Special mention to Olivia (Service Dept) for handling everything and keeping us informed on progress.

Booking process was easy. Jenny was great with regards to communicating pick up and additional work was communicated early.

During the telephone conversation, I found the customer advisors tone and manner of speaking to be quite aggressive and unprofessional. In particular, he repeatedly used the phrase “you what?”, which I found disrespectful and inappropriate when speaking to a customer.

I appreciate that conversations do not always go as expected, but I do not believe there is any excuse for a customer to be spoken to in this manner. The advisers communication came across as confrontational rather than helpful or professional, and I was extremely disappointed with the experience.

As a first-time VW customer, this is not the level of customer service I expected from Volkswagen. First impressions matter, and this experience has left me questioning the standard of customer service being provided at VW Parkway. I would expect to be treated with courtesy, respect and professionalism at all times.

I felt it was important to bring this matter to your attention, as customers should not be made to feel uncomfortable or spoken to aggressively when dealing with your staff.

3.5/5 - We recently purchased a car from VW Derby and, overall, we are happy with the vehicle. Our sales representative, Grace, was friendly, professional and a pleasure to deal with.

Unfortunately, we did have few issues that took the shine off things. The car had a broken parcel shelf and the windscreen wipers were in very poor condition, meaning we had to make a separate trip to VW Durham to get these issues resolved. Thankfully, both were sorted at no cost to us. The car also hadn't been valeted to the standard I expected, and I ended up cleaning it again myself. Having previously bought a used car from VW Sheffield, where the valet was excellent, this was disappointing.

My biggest issue was the servicing schedule. The car was supplied on flexible servicing, allowing up to 18,000 miles or two years between services. Given my driving habits, a fixed schedule of 12 months or 10,000 miles was more appropriate. I appreciate the flexible schedule may have suited the previous owner, but I would have welcomed a discussion about this before collection. I've consequently had to pay £198 for a service to get the car onto the schedule that better suits my needs — an expense I feel could potentially have been avoided with clearer communication. Basically I feel the car should have been serviced before being sold to me.

I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as a positive resolution would go a long way towards making this a five-star experience.

My van was collected, serviced and returned to me as planned. I was informed about progress and all the work was covered by my service plan. It could not have been easier.

As always, their MOT and service was excellent, with my car being picked up in the morning and returned in the afternoon.
