Rip Off Merchants
They started me on 26% APR and then in December they jacked it up to 50% APR. I have no idea why, I never missed a payment but they decided to do that. I have used other credit cards and they never have done that. I am now endeavoring to pay these cowboys off. AVOID!!

We understand that it is disappointing when there is an increase in your credit card’s APR. We regularly review our pricing to make sure it reflects current market conditions and the overall cost of providing credit. If you opted out of the increase when you were notified of the change, you would be able to pay down any remaining balance at your current rate.

LACK OF SERVICE TEAM
Had a card for around 14 months. I asked why they had never considered a limit increase and all I got from 3 people was "don't know as the system decides " I'm not stupid. The system does what you tell it to. Let's be honest here ... despite the massive jump in interest rate that none of my other cards have done I stayed with you. I ALWAYS paid in full so what you don't want to admit is that you don't make money from me so you do what you can to make customers like me go away. Well due to your blatant lies to me, and from looking at other reviews here you have succeeded Account closed and I will certainly be letting many others know about your so called "Lack of Customer Service Team " There is absolutely no way that you can justify your conduct

We appreciate your feedback on our credit limit increase process and we understand your frustration that you have not had an offer to increase your limit. Our Customer Services Team are not able to request for an increase on a customer’s behalf, so the information you were provided with was true. Credit limit increases are automatically offered where you would receive an email if one is being offered.
We will provide your review to our relevant department who handle this process to take on your feedback.

This has to be the most scammed credit…
This has to be the most scammed credit card I have ever had first payment was £25. balance is £700 and they now want £80 a month minimum payment taking over £40 interest. who the hell pays £80 a month on a £700 credit card. No way can I pay that each month. I've had CC with £2000 balance and min payment on that was on £72 a month. These won't be getting any further payments it's well beyond what I can afford to pay.

Your monthly minimum repayment is dependent on how you use your Onmo Credit Card and any interest applied from your last repayment date, if the full balance was not paid. Serious fraud mishandled, no communication, ongoing harm
I have been a loyal Onmo customer for over two years, but my experience following a fraud incident has been extremely poor and distressing.
On Sunday 18th January, I was scammed by someone impersonating Onmo. An attempted £500 transaction on my credit card was declined, but my saved card details were then used to pay £25 into my Onmo account, followed by £185 taken from my Onmo credit card by a third party (Airtime Rewards).
I reported this immediately via Onmo’s helpline on Monday 19th January and was told the matter would be passed to the fraud team. I also explicitly asked for my account to be frozen to prevent further transactions.
Since then, communication from Onmo has been almost non-existent. I have received no meaningful updates, no explanation of what is happening, and no reassurance. The only action taken was sending out a replacement card, which I refuse to activate as I no longer feel safe using Onmo.
In contrast, the third party involved (Airtime Rewards) investigated straight away, suspended the fraudulent account, and confirmed they are happy to assist with any investigation. Onmo, however, has shown a complete lack of urgency or transparency.
When I logged back into the app, I discovered my balance was -£7.37, with no explanation, pushing my credit usage beyond its limit and impacting my credit score — something I have worked hard to build.
I have logged a formal complaint, reported the matter to Action Fraud and the FCA, and am preparing to escalate to the Financial Ombudsman Service due to poor complaint handling, failure to safeguard my account, and the ongoing stress this has caused.
For a regulated financial company dealing with fraud and vulnerable customers, this level of communication and care is unacceptable. I no longer trust Onmo with my personal or financial information and would strongly caution others based on my experience.

Our Fraud team will work to respond to cases raised within 10-working days, where investigations may take longer than that. With Complaints, you will receive an email to acknowledge the receipt of your complaint within 5-days where we will conduct a full investigation and work to get back to you within 8-weeks of the complaint being raised.
We appreciate that this is a stressful situation so we would like to escalate your review with our Fraud team to request for an update to be provided. So that we can provide all details to them, we have reached out to request for further information. If you can please get this over to us, we’ll have our team provide you with an update within 3 – 5 business days.
