Had dinner and a show booked on the 12/05/25. After hearing nothing from OMG I had to email and ask when the tickets would be sent through. Was told the night before we were due to see the show that they had booked the wrong date. They are now ignoring my emails requesting a refund

OMG stands for oh my God what a rip off fraudulent company they are . It’s been a year now and they still haven’t refunded the money we were promised in a written email from one of their dishonest staff members. They took £210 of us , then £30 for better theatre seats ( these were the worst in the entire theatre ) then £89 to upgrade to a 4star hotel . We got the £30 and £89 back but nothing for failing 3 times to book a hotel . This adds up to £210 for 2 crap theatre seats . You promised £158 refund , so you still owe us £39 ( that’s cheap for a 3star hotel 🤣 ) . Pay up and I’ll stop writing these reviews. I’ll keep doing this until your score review is 0 , which it should be . Not one person in this company has an ounce of honesty in them , you are all scammers stealing peoples money . The 5 star reviews I deem to be fake as well

My sister booked a hotel and theatre package for my birthday through this company. The night before we were due to travel, I emailed to request our theatre tickets — only to be told the entire booking had been cancelled without explanation.
We were promised an upgrade, dinner, and other goodwill gestures to make up for the inconvenience, but since then, they have completely stopped responding to emails. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, we’ve had no reply and no refund.
The voucher was purchased through Activity Store, and I would strongly advise avoiding them as well. We’ve been left out of pocket and deeply disappointed — it’s unacceptable that companies like this are allowed to take people’s money and simply disappear.
Do not use this company.

I resent giving them even 1 star. Purchased voucher via giftNexperience. When o finally got dates to see a show (5 months in the future), on the DAY of the show they didn’t send the tickets through and said they had made a mistake on the dinner booking. I had travel booked to London. I got no apology- just nothing. I’m reporting to ombudsman.

I Booked London show and Hotel experience with OMG hotels via Activity superstore back in August for the 18th October. Since August i have sent many emails chasing for a conformation and whether the show is booked and when will the tickets be sent, after many weeks of no response from OMG i contacted Activity Superstore to request a refund.
they also ignored my emails for two weeks and eventually said they had raised a complaint to OMG.
I eventually Received a message from OMG stating i could not have a refund as it was all booked.
i asked for the booking and the show tickets but still no response !
i have asked for their complaints team contact details many times now but they do not respond !

I strongly urge everybody to avoid this company. After a rocky start when we had to cancel our trip to London because OMG sent us a voucher for the wrong hotel, then cancelled it before making sure there were vacancies at the upgraded hotel, we had a positive encounter with Frannie and everything was rebooked at a later date. I was promised by Frannie she would be personally overseeing the booking to make sure everything would run smoothly.
A few weeks ago, my wife's treatment changed which clashed with the revised dates booked. I have tried numerous times to contact them by Email (seems it's the only way) to ask them if they could change the date. I have heard nothing back from them.
Today, 8th October was the date we were supposed to be travelling on before we had tried to cancel. As yet we have received nothing from OMG.
I assume they have cancelled everything but have no idea if they have done anything about rebooking to any of the dates I suggested in Emails.
I would like a full refund but do not hold out much hope when reading similar reviews to this.
As I said previously, avoid at all costs!!

I have just checked with the hotel and the booking has been cancelled by OMG - I've still not heard anything off them!

This is a lengthy complaint which I feel the need to explain my circumstances, for my 70th birthday 25th November 2024 I received a gift voucher from my nephew * London Overnight Stay and Attraction for 2 people * purchased from *Activity Superstore * after endless attempts to activate the voucher with usemygift.com I finally had a result !!!!
My emails started 3rd July and continued up to receiving my final confirmation on 14th July .
OMG Hotels confirmed our Hotel stay for 1st October to 2nd October with a special offer for an extra night 30th September at a cost of £112 which I paid for in full.
On arrival at Axiom Hotel 30th September we was informed that no booking existed and we had no way to contact OMG Hotels!!!!! This was the worst experience I have ever had being stranded in London 2 ladies both in their 70's !!! fortunately we managed to book into a Premier Inn for 2 nights at a cost of £220 each.
After arriving home I have sent emails to OMG Hotels but they have not been very helpful. I have asked for a FULL refund plus compensation for the inconvenience caused.
Just to update people 🙄 I have been totally ignored by OMG Hotels and from Activity Superstore !!!!!

We booked a hotel stay and theatre break through Activity Superstore who subcontracted this experience to OMG hotels. OMG sent a confirmation of booking on 30th June 2025 for my requested date of 24th Sept which named the hotel and promised a hotel voucher and theatre tickets at least 48 hours before the trip. I tried to contact OMG numerous times to clarify the theatre ticket grade and offering to pay for an upgrade if appropriate. This contact was by e-mail as the phone numbers for the company do not work and the chat line is not in use (it is still shown on their website but not functioning). My first email was replied to offering upgraded accommodation but no mention of the theatre ticket request. All other e-mails went unanswered.
After chasing via Activity Superstore I received a hotel voucher 24 hours before but no theatre ticket. At 0624 on the day of departure (just before we were due to set out to London) I received an email saying that the hotel booking was cancelled and an alternative was difficult due to'London being extremely busy'! They offered a wait for a possible hotel booking later that morning or rebooking later with a list of inducements (hotel upgrade,Hard Rock Cafe meal, Shard etc visit & £100 voucher) which I see from other 1* reviews is their standard response to disappointed/complaining customers. I saw no value in pursuing OMG for any recompence due to the impossibility of meaningful communication but instead requested a refund and compensation for cost of train tickets etc from Activity Superstore (who I paid my money to). I have only received the refund.
A very unsatisfactory experience with (at best) a highly inefficient company or more likely a rip off company trying to give the minimum service for the money paid and failing at even that!

21 Oct 25 - Just checked back in to see any feedback. Unsurprisingly there was none and I note that the 5* reviews mostly have a gushing response but the 1* reviews rarely have any. This clearly demonstrates to me a lack concern for the upset they continue to cause their customers. (Are those 5* reviews genuine??)

We Turned up at 9 pm with the voucher I had been given to find they’d cancelled my hotel room a few days before and not told me. They didn’t respond to messages etc. I ended up paying £200 for a 3 star hotel nearby which was filthy (the last room they had) through booking com

When we arrived at the hotel there was no booking for us ! After contacting them with no help at all we were left to find another hotel!! We have tried to get a refund as this was a present bought by my son OMG have not been back in contact with us! Do not book any trips with them! The service is a disgrace!!

We had vouchers which we had to pay to upgrade to use at the weekend and get a decent hotel. The day before we were due to go to London they cancelled our hotel, apparently it had been double booked. They offered us other hotels but each time we looked at the next and accepted it was full. Until they wanted to put us out in Canary Wharf. Where I declined, we have now booked to go on the 21st December and they offered compensation. £120 vouchers, a meal at Hard Rock Cafe and viewing tower at shard experience… fab…. Erm no! You can’t get hold of anyone to book or clarify the booking. Emailed three times to ask how we use the voucher book the meal time and viewing tower at shard… still no reply.

Purchased a break 21 Sept and still today 4 October I have heard nothing, Despite numerous emails chasing to confirm the dates hotel etc I have had nothing, but gladly take the monies immediately. Such a bad experience wouldn’t recommend going through this company. Thanks OMGhotels for such a pleasant experience !!!

I had a London West End
Theatre and Hard Rock Cafe Experience bought as a gift for my 60th Birthday. I followed all booking instructions and selected Phantom of the Opera for a specific date. I received a confirmation email from OMGhotels stating that the booking was confirmed and that we could “sit back and relax.” Based on this assurance, I booked non-refundable train travel and hotel accommodation from Newcastle (where I live) to London. I was told that the vouchers would be sent 72 hours before the event, but when they did not arrive, I contacted OMGhotels again and was told that they would arrive 24 hours before the performance. This lack of clarity and last-minute communication was already concerning.
However, on the morning of the performance, I received an email stating that the wrong date had been booked and I couldn't then go.
This is completely unacceptable. I checked ticket availability myself at the theatre and confirmed that tickets were still available for the correct date, meaning OMGhotels had the opportunity to resolve the issue but failed to do so.
This experience has caused:

Significant financial loss due to travel and accommodation costs.
Emotional distress on what should have been a celebratory occasion.
A complete failure of service from OMGhotels.

I looked on review websites and found that this tactic of cancellation is commonplace and offers of other dates and upgrades rarely materialises.
To compound our distress, OMGhotels then failed to correspond with us to try to obtain a refund. My husband then contacted Activity Superstore and made them aware of the difficulties and in the end and weeks, later we eventually received a refund from them. I'm heartbroken we didn't see Phantom and OMGhotels could have given us the Hard Rock cafe experience but even that didn't happen.
I'm convinced the gift (and money spent in good faith) didn't actually buy anything. I believe the confirmation emails amounted to a scam. We spent a lot of time pursuing the refund, whereas some people would give up due to the number of hurdles to go through, and in that sense the companies involved in this are being fraudulent!

I had booked a meal and Tina Turner the musical experience for Saturday 13th September with my mum. This didn't happen. I waited for the tickets, sent an email chasing and was told I would not get the tickets until 24-hours before hand, this is not the 72-hours it is meant to be. I then didn't get an email from them regarding the tickets until the evening of Friday 12th September, in which they essentially blamed the marches on Saturday 13th as customers were scared to be in London, they also proceeded to say their provider who were meant to be producing the tickets said there was an issue and there were no tickets were available or something to that effect and we could see another show - no we don't want to see another show when there are tickets available for the show we booked. I emailed back to say there were tickets available, I wanted the tickets and asking for a proper explanation, that was on Friday 12th September, it is now Friday 26th September and I have not heard back from them despite 2 emails chasing. I believe this company to be a complete scam, do not bother wasting your time and money, it will cause stress, especially as they refuse to responsd. I would like someone from OMGHotels to contact me regarding this matter. In my latest email sent this morning, I have included my mobile number for them to call me.

You can only contact by email not phone, I was trying to get hold of this company for 6/8 weeks to book an overnight stay in Birmingham & a trip to Cadbury World (I had a voucher from Activity Store for this experience & they use OMG hotels). After sending numerous emails to no avail I rang Activity Superstore. They contacted OMG on my behalf & eventually I received an email on the 1st September confirming a one night stay on Saturday 20th September at the Novotel in Birmingham & a family ticket to Cadbury World at 10.00 a.m on that date as requested.
I decided to book an additional night as we live 4/5 hours away.
I telephoned the hotel to ensure that I had a booking for Saturday 20th which they confirmed so I booked an additional night on Friday 19th September.
When my husband, two children & I checked in to the hotel, the gentleman who checked us in told us that we had a one night stay. I explained that we should have a separate booking on Saturday 20th & I showed him
the voucher & email confirmation. He told me that OMG hotels had cancelled our booking for Saturday 20th September at 3.40 a.m on Friday 19th? I telephoned Activity Superstore who said they would try & sort it. I also emailed OMG hotels.
A while later I received an email to say they had rebooked for Saturday 20th, which I confirmed with the hotel receptionist.
I then emailed OMG again as I thought I should confirm the booking for Cadbury World at 10.00 a.m on Saturday 20th as confirmed in their email (of the 1st September). I then received an email telling me it had been booked for Sunday at 10.10 a.m.
I was extremely disappointed as we needed to travel home after breakfast on the 21st September. I asked in the email for them to change to Saturday but they couldn’t as it was fully booked.
We had to go on Sunday as the kids were so excited, we couldn’t let them down, especially as it was a joint Christmas present to them. Sadly we had to rush around, not able to enjoy it at a leisurely pace, as knew we had a 4/5 hour journey ahead of us & had to get back to collect our dog from the canine home boarding.
If we hadn’t booked the 2nd night we would have arrived at Cadbury World to discover we didn’t have a booking after all (even though we had received confirmation in an email from OMG), we would have then turned up at the hotel only to find our booking had been cancelled & the hotel might not have had a room available.
This company couldn’t organise a *iss up in a brewery.
Although it was all sorted in the end the stress, emails, phone calls & the inconvenience caused was unnecessary.
We were also extremely disappointed that the date requested & confirmed for the visit to Cadbury World was changed without notice & therefore we unfortunately couldn’t enjoy it as we should have done.
Appalling customer service… Don’t book through OMG!

Hoping it will be sorted but having contacted OMG via the activity store I am still yet to hear back from them after confirming which show we would like to see. Their automated email said they would be in touch within 3 days but we are now over 8 and nothing. The voucher was for my 40th so was really lookimg forward to a show and hotel stay. The customer service so far has been very poor and unclear. If anyone from OMG would get in touch I can give my reference number and hopefully be able to give a more positive review 🤞🤞🤞

Where do I begin, my partner purchased a voucher from Activity Superstore for a 4* hotel and theatre show in the west end. When activating voucher we were transferred to OMGhotels who booked us in for the 19th September, email stated all relevant information and theatre tickets will be sent 48 hours prior to our visit. After a fair few emails being sent and not responded to, I looked into this a little only to realise that the hotel we were booked into has been closed to the public to house asylum seekers. I’m trying to stay hopeful that we will receive a full refund from Activity superstore as they’ve stated we would. STAY CLEAR FROM THIS COMPANY

SCAM !! DO NOT USE!! How is this 'company' allowed to do this. We had been booked into the Britannia international hotel which is now an hotel for refugees. When we noticed and saw in the news we have been trying to get this resolved but it's although the company doesn't exist. Even if the hotel hadn't become a migrants hotel judging by these reviews it would have been cancelled anyway.

The only good reviews on here are from people who hasn't actually received their 'experience' yet.. this scam gang only communicate with you until the point you are handing over your money then they ghost you !!

**EDIT** In response to their reply they knew exactly who I was as they referenced me in an email. OMGhotels are refusing to refund and I'm having to go down other channels. Including trying to get it resolved with the merchant I originally purchased this from (Very) who has now removed this product from their website. I'm also in communication with citizens advice who has passed on this information to trading standards. After leaving this review, OMGhotels contacted my partner to vent their frustration about these negative reviews and told us they would reschedule us on another date and offer us compensation in the form of vouchers and restaurant dining. After my partner agreed to tried to rearrange with OMGhotels, they completely ignored her and now it's been well over a month with absolutely no communication.

Well what can I say they have scammed me as well brought a voucher through the Activity Super Store I got put onto omg hotels where they offered me a hotel some distance from where the theatre was so I upgraded to a hotel at an expense. Very long story short they have taken my money cancelled my hotel the day before and obviously not sent any theatre tickets very evil people.

Terrible organisation! Don’t send vouchers out and then fail to issue refunds! AVOID, it’s a scam!
