I'm only giving OMG hotels 1 star because you can't give them minus stars, and believe me I would. I have paid over £600 in total for a 2 night stay + a show and dinning for 2 at the Hard rock café in London. I was told I would receive the vouchers no later than 48 hours before we were due to go. Obviously I didn't receive anything. I tried to phone OMG and couldn't. I sent several emails. Eventually I got an email reply saying that unfortunately my booking had been made in error for the wrong dates. So even though I've paid for rail tickets to London I have no OMG experience to enjoy. They offered me the experience in January 2026 and a £40 voucher. I checked with the hotel in Hyde Park I was meant to stay at and they told me I had been booked in for the correct dates, but that OMG had cancelled the booking. I have asked for a complete refund, but I'm highly doubtful that I'll receive anything. I would advise anyone thinking about using OMG hotels to choose some other company, but do your research and read the reviews of the company you choose.

My brother bought me a Lion King and hotel stay for my 60th in April 2024, they could not secure theatre tickets but neglected to inform me until I was in London and booked into our hotel. Offered to pay £40 towards another hotel stay - declined as wouldn't cover another hotel.
Since that time I have e-mailed frequently (I like a paper trail) to the extent that I have just asked them for the theatre tickets now as I am thoroughly disillusioned and, quite frankly disgusted with their lack of customer service.
I have not received any response from any of my e-mails to this company in over a year, so the are now actively breaking the law by not providing goods that has already been paid for, this will be where I take my evidence and seek advice as to next steps as they clearly don't want to deal with me.
I would have given 0 stars but that isn't possible on this website.

One star is too good for this company. For months I have had issues with communication and trying to redeem a voucher for a musical & meal. Eventually after about a month I received a booking notification to say my choice of musical and meal had been booked. No other information on times etc. The email said I should receive all vouchers and tickets associated with this booking within 72 hours of the event date. That date is this Saturday 22nd Nov. I have still yet to receive & I travel tomorrow. Only way to contact is by email & again I have chased but still no update. I still have no idea if I am going to make my show and meal. Disappointed is an understatement. I am extremely angry that the money my family spent on buying me this voucher for this experience is highly likely to be wasted. Them out of pocket and myself & my daughter extremely disappointed that we are travelling to London for a show it is increasingly likely we are not going to see. Avoid using this company. I certainly will not be using again. I would be grateful of a response to my email and send me my tickets and vouchers ASAP if by any chance OMG hotels read their reviews.

I contracted with Activity Superstore who sub-contracted to this shower. Each delaying giving me a full refund for the theatre and dining experience - given to my son and his wife last Christmas but booked for 25/10/25 - only to be told it was over-booked at the last minute.

As a disabled pensioner presents like this are helpful but guess I will in future take my mobility scooter around the shops!

Just as a heads up people if you value your money and your sanity DON'T have any dealings with either Company.

Was given a gift of a hotel and theatre experience, paid an extra £69 to upgrade the hotel and £80 each for train tickets. Had to chase up this company for the confirmation. Day before the trip I received an email stating the hotel hadn’t been booked properly by them and the trip would have to be cancelled. No idea what happened to the theatre tickets as they weren’t even mentioned!!
Requested a full refund and now OMG Hotels have gone silent on me.
Reported to Trading Standards as complete scammers.

I bought a London hotel stay with winter wonderland tickets & the hotel chain OMG have not responded to me in 6 days, their phone numbers are not in service & I have no way of contacting them. Complained to wowcher who also have no contact number only email or whatsapp, they are extremely slow on response times & have left me hanging for days. It now looks like i won't be able to visit london & my friends who are here from New York & Canada as i can't even get a refund from either company. If I was refunded I could book another hotel direct but with no contact this seems very unlikely.

I absolutely can not believe wowcher would even work with OMG hotels or do they not care either.

I will never book or buy anything from wowcher again & I will warn everyone I know to steer well clear.

Reading in Google & facebook that they are known for scamming people & so are the OMG hotel chain

Had a theatre and dinner experience booked, from the day I got the voucher had nothing but issues. Finally managed to get a booking with them. Train and hotel booked, 10pm night before they cancelled saying they had booked for the wrong date. I could either attend the date it was booked for or reschedule. Have attempted to rebook but have had nothing from them since they cancelled despite numerous emails from myself. Worst experience and not the cheapest either

Such poor customer service. Unanswered emails, if on occasion they are answered the excuse I’ve been given twice is my email went into spam but I’m now on the approved list but still no answer for weeks. No phone number to contact. The activity superstore should reconsider who they deal with and so too Argos ultimately. My experience was cancelled the very day of travel. Promises made to provide upgrades and train tickets (which we bought for our journey), nothing. This is since June 2025 when we paid for an upgrade. If you have a choice do not choose OMGhotels.

This was meant to be a lovely Christmas gift an Emmerdale Tour with a 4-star hotel stay. I booked through OMG Hotels and was told I’d get my vouchers two days before the trip. After several unanswered emails and lots of chasing, they finally arrived at the last minute.

I called the Emmerdale Tour company, who said they’d never worked with OMG Hotels and advised me to be cautious. When the voucher finally came, I booked the tour myself out of pocket to make sure we didn’t miss out.

OMG Hotels later told me the tour they’d arranged was for the wrong day, the day we were due to travel home. They offered an upgraded hotel to make up for it, but after everything, I didn’t trust them to get that right either. They also promised me a £60 refund for the tour, which I’ve still not received.

Looking at Trustpilot, it seems this isn’t a one-off there’s a clear pattern in their reviews. Unreliable, unresponsive, and unprofessional. Book elsewhere, save your money.

DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! they are a scam!!! they are affiliated with Activity Superstore who are equally as bad and not prepared to take any responsibility! i received a voucher for a theatre and meal at the hard rock cafe for xmas last year, we booked the theatre in the summer for the 25th October, the night before the trip, we received an email from OMG hotels saying that there had been a mix up with the booking and there was no longer availability, we were told that if we re booked they would up grade our meal, i immediately emailed back expressing my dissapoitment a we had arranged things at home so that we could go to the show, I have received no reply, i have also left a voicemail on their customer service number and nothing back, i have requested a refund and still nothing back, my mother in law has contacted activity superstore who have passed the buck and said that she has to contact OMG for the refund, which she has and surprise surprise nothing back, this company takes people's hard earned cash and it is disgusting

Really bad customer service support. I booked a 1 night stay in London with Lion King tickets for next month for my husband and my 28th Wedding Anniversary. I sent continuous emails asking about information but heard nothing. I purchased through Wowcher and they tried helping, not much help though. There needs to be a telephone number to call, but nothing. I recommend Wowcher take them off website, as it reflects on them aswell. I have written to BBC Watchdog about OMG hotels, if enough people do the same, perhaps it could help and get everyone their money back!!

For anyone buying gifts this Christmas Don’t buy OMGhotels.com experiences.
We had 2 nights in a hotel plus dinner booked since last November and they cancelled it at 10pm the night before saying the hotel was overbooked and did we want to rebook for the future. We had already booked train tickets so had to find a hotel at our own cost as they hadn’t offered any alternative. Now they are not responding via e-mail and there isn’t a phone number. Absolutely terrible service and a complete rip off. Would NOT recommend omghotels.com.

This was a nightmare from start to end. Booked a MJ the musical package with 4* overnight stay in London. This was with find me a gift. Was given a hotel miles away over an hour from the theatre venue with no transport routes which meant I had to upgrade and pay a £90 upgrade fee to be more central. (Thats the con). Our room was a disabled room which when queried at the hotel, they said this is what was requested! Then still had to get tubes to theatre. Was told I’d get my theatre tickets 24 hours before showtime. I wasn’t. When chasing, I was given some bs story about their e-mails being down and I’d receive them on the day!!! This is obviously because you get allocated the dregs what the theatre don’t sell. I received mine at 11am and the show was 2.30pm. This was stressful not having received them before travelling to London. We were lucky with the seats allocated and had a good view in the Grand Circle however this was pure luck. It would be less stressful and cheaper to book separately yourself. The whole exchanging voucher process is confusing too.

I got brought a 4* London hotel and theatre gift voucher for my birthday booked a date via the website. Less than 12 hours prior to travelling they emailed me to say the hotel was double booked and could I rearrange with free upgrades and they would reimburse my train tickets (£154). After agreeing due to their promises of upgraded hotel, theatre tickets free excursion, £100 voucher and reimbursement of my train tickets I gave them new potential dates. I then following multiple emails (they have no other form of contact) had to contact the original place I contacted the ticket who escalated the issue 4 & half months later I have asked for a refund because they have not kept their promises and as a result I am out of pocket and am still awaiting reimbursement of my voucher cost. It has been the most stressful experience and ruined my special birthday. I have also never had an apology and they actually had the audacity to say they never cancelled.

Again like everyone else I have been through the same thing. Booked a trip that got cancelled on the day. Was promised the world to rebook tried to and have had no response for the last 3 months

I like others trusted this company to help my husband and I enjoy a theatre break - a really special weekend bought for us by my 2 nephews only weeks after my sister passed away so particularly poignant for me. Like others, tried to get a response repeatedly then completely out of the blue I got a booking confirmed for this weekend just gone - I even interacted with them to say that I was concerned after reading reviews but was completely hoodwinked by them telling me they were a great company and they would help me. Asked for an upgraded hotel (hotel they offered was not in central London at all) and an upgraded theatre ticket and paid them a further £500+ for the privilege. Checked with the hotel directly and they advised I had no booking but again I trusted them as on contacting them again they sent me a booking form showing the reservation and asked me not to contact the hotel directly as they got confused between company and individual - We left Friday morning for our weekend break and an hour into our train journey I got an e-mail advising they had cancelled our hotel and theatre tickets - but great news!! I could go another time and get a better hotel and lots of other perks. We were gutted. We were on the train bound for London for no reason.
I had to book a hotel whilst on the train and also managed to book the same theatre for the same show !!! I responded immediately to ask for a refund to guess what - ZERO response.
Not only are we out of pocket due to increased prices for booking literally on the day but I am the mug who also paid extra because I believed they were not as bad as these reviews say. Please DO NOT BE FOOLED.

Despicable people who ruined a beautiful memory of my sister for what ? words do not describe how awful - I will be putting this in the hands of the fraud team at the Bank but don't hold out much hope of getting my money back. Please folks think twice before using them

I had a voucher for my birthday for a London show and hard rock cafe so I chose MJ the musical.
The communication was brilliant up to 24 hours before the show I chose
I thought it was a bit strange that you was meant to receive your tickets 24 hours before for the performance as now I have looked into it you should receive the MJ musical 10 days before if you book directly (wish I had).
It was only because I had this as a present for myself and I thought we could use for my husband's birthday weekend I used this voucher
The day before the performance came and still no vouchers. I was promised I would receive that day between 7-10pm as they were 24 hours support via email
Again alarms ringing why no phone number
I tried the number I could find online unobtainable
7:30pm came no tickets no response
21:00 Same
22:00 no tickets
Now frantic as we was meant to be going up London for my husband's birthday
I was devastated
I have let my husband down
I have emailed four times through the night no response until the next morning to say they have cancelled as they felt I was blaming them and they had suffered an email outage and apparently I had asked for a refund
What I actually said is please let me know if you cannot give me the tickets as I can get directly with the establishment and will ask for a refund then
It is very clear that you never had the tickets and had no intention of ever giving to us
And if you read the reviews email outage is a common excuse
They said I was going to receive a refund doubt it

Please don't use this company book direct

Had a theatre and hotel voucher brought as a birthday present and OMG advised the hotel was now unavailable on the day of the booking. Basically left us stranded in London and when I asked about the theatre tickets, this was just ignored.
An alternative trip was offered and I replied with some dates but have heard nothing back since Saturday.
So frustrating, not sure how they can get away with continually doing this to people.

Just one word if you are thinking of booking anything with these scammers, DON'T.
The owner of OMGhotels and there partners in crime ActivitySuperstore should be jailed in my opinion for all of the money they have scammed of people.
