My husband brought me a hotel in bath and roman bath tour for my birthday
It’s this weekend and so far I have no idea when the tour is no one comes back me when I email, there is no contact number and the live chat has been removed! Great!

I purchased a London theatre and hotel break for my daughter’s 16th birthday on the 22/11/2025 and contacted Wowcher numerous times to get confirmation of both the hotel and theatre booking.

I had zero response regarding theatre tickets but on the day before we were due to leave for London I was emailed stating that there wasn’t availability at the selected hotel.

I also contacted the theatre and they had no tickets for us.

We therefore did not travel to London as hotels and tickets were too expensive at short notice.

The consequence of Wowcher’s bad performance is that I was not due a refund on the train tickets £68 and my autistic daughter was devastated as this was something that she had looked forward to for weeks.

I therefore would like a full refund of £322 which includes the £69 I paid to upgrade the hotel - I will still be out of pocket regarding theatre tickets money paid for the train so I think this would be a totally fair resolution to what has been a nightmare experience with Wowcher.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, you will undoubtedly find booking your experience relatively easy, they’ll be keen to upgrade your experience even but the company does not fulfil the experience and then will offer to rebook but as soon as you ask for a refund they go completely silent. Once the supposed experience day has passed no response as been received. OMG Hotels is meant to provide the experience for the Activity Superstore vouchers, but it did not! They then claim they organise the refund and it will be refunded in 7days, they do not, and 3months later with multiple emails to both companies and we are still out of pocket. 3 months on and still no response from OMG Hotels other than an automated reply. Responses from Activity Superstore only to promise it is being sorted but they are unable to do anything until OMG Hotels respond. We were due to see a theatre show in London with a meal at the Hard Rock Cafe for our experience but it was cancelled by OMG Hotels on the morning of the show, just as we were about to get the train. Supposedly cancelled because there was a mix up with the tickets and there weren’t now any available. (Trustpilot reviews suggest this tactic has been used multiple times!!)We went to London as planned and booked seats for the very same show without any problem and the whole row only had 2 other people in it. 10+ empty seats on our row alone! 3months later and nothing has been done to refund the money after copying both companies in the chain, with 9 emails sent from my end chasing. Unfortunately now the only thing I am able to do is warn others to avoid the scam that this company is. If I could give 0 stars I would, to take £160 and not provide anything at all is absolutely appalling and and nothing short of daylight robbery.

Cancelled my theatre & meal experience 2 days before!! Been going on since October now, they don’t reply to Emails & when they do they promise you everything but then go silent again when you try to book it again!! This was a present for my son’s 18th birthday!! How are they getting away with this!! I’m contacting trading standards, I’ve had enough!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Purchased a Wowcher for a hotel stay and theatre tickets and received a payment confirmation on the the upgrade. As it got closer to the London visit as I bought flights etc, and nothing was confirmed save a canned response stating to wait until 48 hours before you leave, I called both hotels who had no record of me whatsoever.

Further emails were ignored and their phone number is disconnected. Several irate emails later with no response or tickets, I had to book my own hotel and show tickets as I had arranged and paid for a whole weekend.

Disgusting company to deal with as they do nothing for the money they took. I have highlighted this with Wowcher who still offer their services even though these complaints here go way back.

Now left chasing with the banks for a full refund.

Scam company of the year and probably decade. They talk crap , promise the earth and deliver nothing Rotten to the core from top to bottom . I hope they fold up and never trade again .Fraudes, liars and thieves

I am at my wits end I have sent this company so many emails regarding my hotel and theatre package they cancelled it the day before and said they would rebook it for me that was over a month ago I have not heard from them I have even got 2 names can’t get hold of them by phone what do I do

They confirmed a stay at a hotel and theatre tickets to follow, arrived at hotel there was no booking and no tickets, this was booked through wowcher with no sign of refund. DO NOT USE. FRAUDULENT..

Avoid this company! I booked an overnight trip to Bath. The night before I was due to travel, with my partner, I received an email at 11pm, informing me that there was no availability and as a goodwill gesture, I could rebook with a £100 gift voucher! We already had train tickets and a fancy restaurant booked and had been planning this since June as it was our anniversary and also wanted to visit the Christmas market.
I spoke to the hotel direct and they had plenty of availability but could not speak to anyone at OMG so ended up paying £200 to book direct. I have had no response to any of my emails including one to the CEO! USELESS company and I doubt I will ever see my money again. In the process of writing to Watchdog! Please, please, please book with someone else!

Bought an overnight stay for Winter wonderland in London through Wowcher, OMG failed to book to the upgraded hotel for the agreed dates, which they informed me of 48hours before we where due to check in. Had to find our own alternative accommodation and now OMG are not replying to any correspondence regarding a refund, either from myself or from Wowcher. Absolutely appalling company. Do not use.

I was brought an experience voucher as a birthday present for a theatre show and hotel stay in London, it was through the Gift Experience but when you activate your voucher, OMGhotels is who you book it through. I hadn’t heard of them and really I should have done a search on them before proceeding .
It started off shaky, sent 2 follow up emails off the back of my booking enquiry to see a certain show on specific dates and they eventually got back to me 2 weeks later.
The hotel we were originally put in was an hour out of London and not near a subway so paid £79 for an upgrade, then we had an offer of seat upgrades at the theatre for £30 which we also did.
Heard nothing more and it got to 48 hours before we were meant to be going so I sent sn email requesting my vouchers as stated in their T&Cs and low and behold I get the email reply back that others have put on here saying they didn’t book the upgrade hotel, and due to it being really busy they can’t get us in, we can reschedule and have dinner and a £100 voucher. NO! we had already paid for train and boat tickets I want to go to my show. I replied to them and still today have heard nothing back so I went through to the activity superstore chat and told them everything that had happened.
They were amazing and sorted it all and booked us into the same hotel that OMGHotels said was full and even now on booking.com that same hotel had loads of rooms available, and they sorted us theatre tickets too. I don’t think OMG even booked the theatre let alone either hotel to begin with. Luckily for me mine got sorted but I’m still raising a dispute with my bank to get my upgrade money back, I’ve paid out for something we didn’t receive.
Please please please do not use this company, I don’t know how they are still getting away with it.

Has anyone been able to find a phone number for this company? It seems I, like most others, have been scammed. Got a hotel and musical booked for next week but the hotel have no recollection of the booking and haven't received any vouchers for it?

Absolutely awful company to deal with, they cancelled my hotel and show experience whilst half way to London whilst on the motorway. They offered me the world with various upgrades but failed to give me any future dates to go! They only communicate via emails and there’s no other way to make contact with them. They give 3 dates that you must travel on, if you can’t make any of them they just ignore you until about a week before the final date. Then they ask you to rebook within the next 12 months for an admin charge! I did this but they failed to get back in touch, they still have all your money at this point and mine was over £700 for the 2 day hotel and events trip. Eventually my money was returned via klana, but this also took 2-3 months for it to be returned.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR GIFTS!

The Activity Superstore and OMG hotels should not be allowed to trade as they are probably taking money from so many people and DELIVERING NOTHING. Please read their poor reviews...
My daughters spent over £200 Christmas 2024 to give my wife and I, what they thought was a lovely and thoughtful present.
At the time we were really pleased to receive the voucher for a theatre and overnight stay in London.
Our first attempt to book was ignored with no reply whatsoever, and not that easy to book either.
The second attempt received a reply with a promise to see MJ the Musical and a 3 star hotel miles away in Greenwich, which didn't really seem that appealing.
An offer of various hotel upgrades was also given of which I accepted one In Paddington at an additional fee of £79.
The day before we were due to travel to London, we had heard nothing despite a confirmation email from them saying tickets and confirmation should be received online 48 hours before travel.
I emailed them and they came back with a poor excuse that the hotel upgrade was not put through and was no longer available.
At this time they also came back with what seemed a really good offer to rebook at a later date which we accepted.
Since then, despite numerous emails, we have heard nothing from OMG Hotels, who seem to be in this Scam with The Activity Superstore.
So despite just one email received back from The Activity Superstore saying they would chase up OMG Hotels, there has been nothing back for 3 weeks so far.
We are now trying to get our £79 back from the bank for the upgrade, but again, we are just a tiny percentage of the people that have been ripped off by both companies.
PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE ACTIVITY SUPERSTORE.
Read their poor reviews, they are NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN THIS SIDE OF CHRISTMAS.

Wow! Where do I begin, how is the company allowed to trade. Who is protecting the consumer. Absolute scam.Should have been going today for a 50th, travelled from Wales at great expense. This is the latest excuse from this company:

I'm getting in touch as we've been contacted by the hotel supplier to let us know there has been an issue with your hotel due to several quality issues, which means it won't be possible for you to stay at your hotel tomorrow. We've asked for alternatives but unfortunately they don't have anything they're able to offer at the moment due to the city being extremely busy with other key events taking place. Please accept my apologies for having to pass this on to you.

As a result I’m able to offer you the option to wait until the end of the day tomorrow by 8pm, although there is no guarantee something will come available by then. I’m also aware of the lateness in the day, so if you’d like to reschedule your trip of your hotel stay and theatre to a date within the next 12 months once you have new dates in mind I’m able to offer this to you.

If you wish to reschedule your entire trip we'll upgrade you to a superior 4* hotel with added breakfast, as well as provide tickets to a top attraction such as View From The Shard, The Tower of London, etc and a £100 gift voucher as a goodwill gesture to make the rescheduled trip extra special.

Why would we wait till 8pm! Surely we should be in the theatre then. oh wait, no because they’ve not actually booked either. One, big, fat, scam. And they have been getting away with it for months.

Scammers company, stay away. Our friends gave us voucher for central london hotel stay plus musical visit. I got in touch in may 2025, asked to book the experience. OMG offered hotel in Wembley+musical. When o tried to object that Wembley is way to far from Central London Musical location, they offered to pay extra 150£ for hotel in Central London, which i paid to them. We set up the date for the stay and musical, they promised to send hotel voucher and musical tickets few days before event. I have received nothing from them and day before i send them email and asked, where is everything. They replied that they are sorry and it slipped outside of system and too late for booking now etc… after that i gave them new date, and they have never ever replied to me after lots of chasers.
They do not have any phone numbers, only one email is behind the company. Truly scammers, stay away

I booked hotel and theatre package, traveled to London to find hotel not booked and same with theatre company, can’t get hold of anyone to get money back,

I booked a meal and theatre experience through them, this was passed on to OMG hotels, I recieved an email confirming and advised that tickets would be sent 48 hours before the show we had requested, after chasing for several times when the tickets did not arrive I was emailed at 065.39 on the day that the tickets were not available and that we could rebook, we have tried to rebook and I have also asked for some compensation as we had taken time off work, and booked a train and a hotel, we have not heard back since despite many emails, they cannot be contacted on the website, so please beware if using this company

Someone needs to report this company to the police or action fraud hotline. They are clearly and deliberately taking money with no intention of supplying the goods or services promised. They have no method to contact anyone apart from an email address which they do not answer once they have your payment. There scam appears to be that they will say that tickets will be emailed 48 hrs before a show. This will then not happen and they will blame any number of reasons. Refunds might be promised but will certainly not materialize.
There is no governing body to regulate their practices and amounts are individually not high enough to warrant individuals making claims through small claims courts or citizens advice bureau. They are criminals who know how to get away with it!! I would also expect their head office address in London to be a fake!. Be warned!!

Awful service, have been trying to book our package since January. Emails are as sparse as two months apart. Booked our package for 3rd of October, to be told on the 3rd of October that the tickets hadn’t arrived, thankfully we had no faith in the company so hadn’t pre bought our train tickets. We still haven’t received correspondence to rebook a new package after multiple emails. Do not book with this company.
