Lady Annabel Astor, a serial entrepreneur on a mission to find special items to decorate her holiday home with, invited two friends along: her sister-in-law Sue Jones, whose decorating pedigree included stints at Jasper Conran and Colefax and Fowler, and Lucinda Waterhouse, a skilled horticulturist whose company made exquisite faux flowers. Together they set out to create a catalogue of charming home upgrades. From the start, the OKA team has called on talented artisans from all over the world to bring its ideas to life. Our furniture and homewares prioritise beauty, comfort and style, but we choose items for their integrity, not because they fit a prescribed look. The magic of OKA is the mix: hand-picked global treasures, rich textures and patterns, and timeless furniture profiles. It’s ever-changing but unwaveringly British; elegant and easy-going; sophisticated but never stiff. And our name? OKA is a phonetic take on ochre, a colour that nods to the East, yet feels innately British. A blend of cultures and aesthetics working in perfect harmony, which is at the heart of everything we do. Building on over two decades of collections, 13 experiential stores in the UK, a website, and an ideas-packed magazine, we’ve become a destination for lovers of home, season after season. Quality lights and fantastic service
Fantastic service and quality product - we spotted the red version of the lights by chance in OKA in Fenwick. The very helpful staff member arranged our order of two lights - one red and one green. They were dispatched earlier than expected and arrived very well packaged. Clear communication from OKA and DPD delivery service throughout. We are delighted our purchase -they are great quality and they look amazing! I would definitely recommend.

Expectations were not met. I had to work far too diligently to get the package delivered.
Delivery information, including address and postcode were incorrectly entered. Surname was incorrectly entered. The postal code doesn’t even exist. Delay in arrival. I had to work very diligently in contracting the delivery company and the shop in order to get it resolved. I was told that the package would be well protected and there’s hardly any packing around the breakable items. I thought very strongly about canceling the order. In fact, I wish I had.

Avoid this company at all costs!!!!
The Froxfield shop is run by morons who :-
Don’t know the price of anything
Have very little product knowledge
Just want to get a sale at any price
Are not commercially minded
Get in a flap at the slightest issue and almost go to pieces.
OKA Only achieves its “premium” status by charging exorbitantly for what are fairly run of the mill products. It would do far better as a business to reduce prices by 25% and would then sell at least 100% more than it currently does. It’s also depressing that they would rather send damaged stock to landfill than to offer it at highly discounted prices.
Generally the brand is to be avoided - there’s much better quality and much lower prices available elsewhere.
