If you read the warranty it mentions several times that an increase in softness is not covered, this is because they know it will go soft.
We have had ours just over 4 years and it is now unusable as it is so soft you sink right through it and can feel the base below.

Feels like I have to roll up a hill when I turn over towards the middle of the bed! Disappointed.

After reading the reviews after the fact, I'm not even going to attempt a warranty claim. So to start with, it took twice as long to arrive than stated. There was no free pillow delivered. Reading the warranty, all the costs to send and redeliver products replaced under warranty are at the consumers cost. The mattress was ok for about a month,then the dip started to form on both sides. It is now quite deep and your held in that position. The old spring mattress this replaced was more comfortable. Please unlike me do your research, these products are total rubbish with a gimmick of a warranty.

I purchased the Dormeo Octasmart Mattress in May 2022 for my wife, who is bravely battling cancer. Unfortunately, after approximately 18 months of use, we noticed a significant sinking in the main sleeping area. Concerned about the quality, I promptly lodged a warranty complaint with Dormeo. An engineer from the company visited our home, and following a thorough inspection, assured us that it was indeed a case for replacement. However, to our dismay, the official report received from Dormeo stated that no fault was found. When I called Dormeo seeking clarification, I was provided with various reasons related to their tolerance policy. Despite this, Dormeo failed to provide a satisfactory explanation as to why a mattress sinking by 1.5 cm in the main sleeping area was not covered by their policy, nor was it mentioned in the warranty information. I strongly advise against buying or trusting Dormeo and recommend staying away from this company. Conversely, I have had a positive experience with Nectar, a company that demonstrated professionalism by promptly replacing a mattress with a similar issue after four years.

Crapist mattress ever slept on. Claims about superb Knights sleep lasts about a month! Not long after was able to return date a hole developed in mattress that I couldn't move out of whilst turning over in my sleep. It kept waking me up doing so!

Absolutely the worst mattress we have ever bought in 43 years of marriage..within a week a dip appeared on my husbands side ..he's not heavy or tall ..within a month he said it's like sleeping in a bucket ..contacted them sent lots of photographs of mattress full bed ...bed base ...APPARENTLY normal allowance ..totally appauled by their lack of customer service ..

Ordered mattress topper 25th October for Xmas gift . Company policy is to allow 28 days for delivery . I called on 22 nd November and was told there would be a delay . I then received an email from company informing me to expect delivery 18th December . I called them on 8th December to ask if delivery would be as planned for 18th . I was then told not to expect delivery before end of December . I am extremely unhappy with this customer service , or lack of , the company are continuously advertising product with 28 days delivery . DO NOT ORDER if you expect 28 days delivery

Well so disappointed 😞, watched the advert and thought that looks good for our needs but what sealed it was it came with a free pillow! WRONG! so we ordered the octosmart king sized topper! Great we thought, and as it only came with 1 pillow we went back on the next day and ordered an extra pillow, so we spent in total nearly £300, and waited for delivery. After waiting weeks our topper arrived, it took an age to cut the packaging which left the plastic in spreads but there was no pillow? We just assumed it would come separately but no, I called Dormeo to enquire when the free pillow would arrive only to be told that there was no free pillow and when I stated what the advert said I was told 'NO FREE PILLOW' I stated that we would not have ordered had it not have said free pillow in the advert but was told again that there was no free pillow! I then enquired about returning the topper to be told that we would have to put it back into the original packaging and return it at our own expense!! Impossible to do as the way its packaged in the plastic you have to use scissors!! Not helpful at all😒.To top the lot the 2nd pillow which cost us £53 still hasn't arrived! The moral of this story DO NOT TRUST DORMEO!! From my experience it is one big con! They do not make it easy and do not stand by there adverts, or make it clear what they are advertising! Customer service is terrible, very much a case of 'we've had your money so go away! They will not make life easier for there customers and really once they have your money they don't care!! DO NOT BUY!! is my advice, avoid at all costs.

Delivered on time, but within a year I was sleeping in a huge human-sized divot, causing extensive back and hip pain. I contacted for a refund/replacement on the 8 year warranty and the hoops needed to jump through were ridiculous and impossible for a disabled person.

Don't waste your time or money, I've found a replacement half the price and far better quality. Note to those looking with disabilities, look at memory foam toppers advertised for those with pressure sore's and what they look like/how they are made/designed. Then look for an off brand copy as the branded ones are extortionate.

topper delivery time 14 to 28 days, load of rubbish, given 2 dates didn't arrive. they don't answer emails, no tracking details, just turned up after 7 weeks. shoddy customer service, would recommend not to buy from this outfit. service doe's not match up to their slick tv adds

Similar to others in this thread, despite the 12 months "purchase" warranty and the 18 year "product warranty" the mattress is identifying as a taco, at the ripe old age, of 7 months old.

After registering a complaint with mattressnextday, sending a simple video of a tin of food rolling (unaided) in the middle of the bed Dormeo refused to accept the taco disposition.

I then received various instructions to dip, photograph, document issues, again, Dormeo refused to accept the taco arrangement.

Instalment 3 to the ongoing saga - Dormeo then sent a "independent mattress inspector" to visit my home (I'd like to add at 7am...) to photograph the issues. Surprise, surprise, no further forward.

Save yourself, Save you back, Save your stress levels - buy another mattress.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

18 year warranty completely useless. After only 3 years the bed developed dips which were not visible but made sleeping extremely uncomfortable giving us both back aches. After numerous exchanges with customer service reps who all requested different photos and measurements, they claim the mattress is not faulty and will not replace. They fail to send an independent assessor and we will continue to report our issues until resolution! DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS unless you want to see an osteopath.

Ordered Dormeo mattress topper mid September and after chasing it eventually arrived 19th October. Don't order if you need it quickly. The TV advert totally misleading - there is no 'fast' delivery and offer ends 'next Monday' - which Monday in which year !

BASED ON THERE INDOCTRINATION AKA ADVERTISING I WOULD RUN A MILLION MILES IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECT NEVER PURCHASING A THING FRO M THEM

Ordered and paid said up to 28days delivery email of them saying it would be here for the 27th september still waiting sent emails no responce these are the worst customer services to deal with im thinking get my money back from Paypal but they dont hurry will wait another week but anybody thinking of buying from this company read the reviews first i wish i had

Dormeo Octasmart Plus Memory Foam Mattress

AVOID THIS MATTRESS, AVOID THIS COMPANY!!

I bought the Octasmart Plus Memory Foam Mattress two years ago as a gift for my daughter in her new home. I thought I was buying her a good quality mattress and it was something she wouldn’t have to think about for a good few years. How wrong I was!! She told me a few weeks ago that the mattress had developed a dip. I reported the matter to Dormeo who told me that their warranty was only 18 months but they would investigate the matter. After receiving various instructions from them and having to provide photographic evidence, which was particularly difficult as the dip could not be seen and could only be felt, they have now said that the dip has occurred because the slats on my daughter’s bedframe are too far apart!! The recommended slat width is 7.5cm and this is stated within the Warranty! I am absolutely appalled! Why is the recommended slat width information not within the Product Information? I suspect that it is because it may exclude quite a few customers from buying the Octasmart Plus Memory Foam mattress particularly if they already have a bedframe with slats more than 7.5cm apart! My daughter is now experiencing back pain and in the midst of a cost of living crisis now has to buy another mattress. I don’t know of any mattress that only lasts two years especially a mattress bought, from what I thought, was a premium brand like Dormeo. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! I would have preferred to give no stars but was unable to do so.

Mattress seems well put together but comes with huge drawback. Mattress either too firm and wrong size I can only comment on double but if all sizing is the same then all mattresses will not fit. I have a double bed and mattress is at least 2 inches around too small. Sheets don't fit either.

Ordered paid told 21 days for delivery now after 29 days chasing up delivery told possible delivery another 3 weeks awful customer service so now awaiting my money being transfered back into my account.

I bought this mattress as it has an 18 year guarantee so I thought Dormeo must be confident in their design and quality, after approx 8 years the mattress started dipping where we mainly lie, due to the pandemic I delayed contacting Dormeo but I knew I was well within my guarantee period, unfortunately when I contacted them earlier this year they have been refusing to discuss the terms of the 18 year guarantee as they said they can't see me on their system as a customer, I explained as it was so long ago I cant remember if it was purchased directly from them or a third party, Argos, Very, either way, the guarantee is and should be valid no matter where it was purchased. The end result is Dormeo are trying to fob me off as I cant find a receipt of my purchase going back about 10 years, I really wish I had gone with one of the other mattress specialist. I am extremely disappointed and disheartened with their behaviour and lack of accountability. So, dont wastevyour money as the mattress won't last and Dormeos customer after care is unacceptable.

Do not buy. The warranty is a sham. This mattress falls apart if you try and move it ( ie move house). Then when you try and arrange for a replacement you have to wait for their 'idendependant mattress specialists' for three months (I guess they are really busy) to visit you to access the mattress. You sleep on the sofa in the meantime, then when they arrive if the mattress has picked up a single stain in that time (we left ours unmade) then 'you are not doing your part in protecting the mattress' and your warranty is invalid even if the stains are not where the mattress has fallen apart (this happens internally as the individual springs fall all over the place inside the mattress making it unusable).
They should be investigated by trading standards.
The mattress is ok at first but the springs have no longevity. It starts to warp and you get sink spots where you sleep that happens before you try and move it.
Very poor quality.
Very poor customer care.
Sham warranty.
Not actually comfortable.
They lie about their Trust pilot rating.
Weird how it's always half price.
Please save yourself the hassle. I have only written this review because I just saw an advert and for it and it just made me angry about how far off it is from the experience you actually receive. They should be shut down or fined.
