Crystal Clear Sound ...............
Always wondered about a DAB Radio/CD Player and if they were worth the price tag.
We did an awful lot of research and came across the Oakcastle DAB500 which seemed to hit all the right notes, after careful consideration we purchased while on promotion via Amazon UK, this was delivered promptly.
On opening the black wood surround looked attractive and stylish.
With everything set up, time to try - What perfect sound on the DAB Radio and the CD Player - So nice to be able to listen once again to the CD's we had wasting away in a cupboard and not heard for quite some time.
The DAB500 is everything I was looking for and more, so nice to have the CD Player too.
Crystal clear sound, not only sounds great it has an attractive design which fits into the decor of our home so well.
Would highly recommend and great to buy especially when on promotion.

Great products and customer service
Had radios and CD players from the company and loved the products. Had a problem with one product after a years warranty had expired. But as i had registered on their website for an extended 3 year warranty they first of all gave me plenty of support trying to solve the problem and when that wasn't possible they replaced it. Best customer support I've ever experienced...!!!

New DVD

Value for money
I only received it yesterday but it was very easy to put it together (I am not technically minded at all) took about 5 minutes, so within 10 minutes I had started playing my cds i had not listened to for quite a few year's EXCELLENT one happy 60something listening to 1970's/1980's that i want to listen to not what radio etc says I have to listen too!! 10/10 brilliant sounds good too for the money!! Utter rubbish from the product to the misguiding 3 year extended warranty. Stay away from this product,brand and anything else associated with it. Tripe !
Update to Oakcastles response: You are very much mistaken! I have provided all neccesary information, with emails to prove it, and your support team infomed me that they are no longer able to support me as i do not own a laptop to update the software. If you had mentioned this before purchase i would of never bought such a lousy system.

Our technical support team previously suggested a software upgrade, as this was the best and most effective solution for the issue reported. You were also asked whether a family member or friend could assist with the upgrade process if needed. As no further reply was received, the support ticket was automatically closed by the system, and without additional communication they could not know whether the issue had been resolved or if further assistance was still required. Following your latest comments they just located the ticket solved due to no reply received form yourself, and they have now sent you an email with details regarding a replacement claim you are entitled to. It a quality looking product it sounds…
It a quality looking product it sounds great but the setting up is not easy.
I could not get to all which is in the hand book settings like summer time settings and dab up date it would not connect I could not turn it off I had to disconnect from the mains to get to work again otherwise it’s a good product

I had problems with a DAB500 Music system
I bought a DAB500 Music system but had problems receiving DAB and FM stations. Technical Support were very quick to respond and incredibly helpful and patient. Unfortunately none of the suggestions they made helped as I eventually discovered DAB/FM coverage of my location is quite poor. My best option would be an internet radio. Tech Support offered me a refund which I received immediately. I will probably buy one of their internet radios as I have no doubt their products are good quality, and I'm impressed by their efficient and courteous service. My thanks to Josh & Emilyn.

I ordered the Oakcastle DVD100 from Amazon.
I ordered the Oakcastle DVD100 from Amazon. Mostly because of the price and great reviews. I had been using the ONN dvd players from WalMart with absolutely no luck. After a few weeks, they started skipping, pausing and no way to continue, not only skipping, but going from one scene to another. After spending enough time and money on these WalMart pieces of junk, I decided to try a different brand and found the Oakcastle on Amazon and decided to try it for the price. The player has great picture quality and after using it for about a month have had no issues with the player. I had some issues with the remote and contacted the seller. After giving them my purchase info from Amazon, they are sending me another remote. They were professional and had no problems with them. At this point in time I would recommend giving them a try. Can't beat it for the cost!

Excellent company to deal with. Bought a portable cd player which is a quality product. I had a minor problem and sought advice. Advice was recieved promptly and problem resolved. I will be buying again from Oakcastle in the future. Highly recommend this company.

Fantastic little dvd player
Fantastic little dvd player. 3 year warranty for £25. My hdmi cable that came with unit didn't work. So used my own. Contacted customer service at oak castle. They couldn't do enough for me. Sent out a new cable. Thanks..

Following a fault with the CD component on the music centre, Oakcastle tried to help rectify but then sent a replacement which works fine.
