Ordered 23/02/26. Chased and arrived 10/03/26. Disappointed that not possible to adjust repeller level.
£35 postage to return to China + 15% admin fee. Only got 10% refund of £99, which took 10 days to process so not happy. We always buy on Amazon so, from our experience, would advise anyone to think twice before ordering from this company.

Avoid dealing with these people at all costs. The cd player Ipurchased was poor quality and didn’t link to the car through Bluetooth so I asked for a return label and a refund and offered that they could collect the product if preferred. I was fobbed off with vague emails looking to avoid all contractual liabilities and have to go through a dispute resolution with the credit card company. Don’t buy from them as you will regret it!!

This product was terrible. I wanted to send it back and it cost so much to send back. they do it on purpose to make it not worth sending it back so you’re stuck with it. They should be upfront and tell you that this is gonna happen. I would recommend nobody. Nobody use this company never buy this product. I’m very very dissatisfied and angry about it.

This is definitely a scam! Stay far away from them!

I tried to understand if the product came from China, but that's never revealed. Instead, they use the UK designation in the description, clearly it's just to deceive, as happened to me.
The company name tries to copy another (Smilebox) with good reviews intending to pass itself off as that one. It works if you don’t pay really attention!
Their reviews are written by themselves.

The ebook I bought took over a month and a half to arrive, cost over $230, and was of no quality whatsoever. For the same price, I could have bought a much superior and a touchless device, which this is not! It’s actually worthless!

Thanks to my credit card company that refunded the money because they are already known as fraudsters. Even so, I offered to return the product, but they want me to pay for shipping (to china) and also deduct 15%. For a product that isn't worth $50!

Now they're threatening legal action, but I would like to see who has more to lose here…

Further to my fraudulent Smileboxy CD advert complaint, Smileboxy have now offered me £10 as compensation or I can send the CD back to them under ludicrous conditions!

A one star is being too generous. What a crap product and even worse customer service.

Stay away from SmileBoxy. I ordered a protable CD palyer with suppoeded blue tooth capability. It will not connect to my vehicles or blue tooth speakers. The company told my I could return it to them in Hong Kong, paying postage costs for BOTH ways even though it shipped to me from Franklin IL. If it clears customs, they will refund my money after a 15% restocking fee.

Absolute rubbish. The supplier tries to put the blame on the buyer, but when the device will not/cannot connect to the internet it is useless. Don't buy from this organisation. They claim that I initiated a "charge back". I wish I had, but I did not and was unaware of such a course of action. I am convinced that this mob operates a scam.

I've just had my Smileboxy Tablet a few days and so far it's a good tablet . Had a Samsung prior to this which quickly deteriorated .
Processing all in a good way - so can only speak as I find .

I recently ordered a Smileboxy CD player. The unit can only be ordered directly from the company and it ships from overseas. The unit took a long time to arrive. I did get some communications as it shipped and needed to clear customs. It did end up arriving after about 5-6 weeks. I then went to use the unit. I immediately had issues with the battery life. I charged overnight multiple times and the unit discharged and shutdown after playing one or two CDs and I had to charge again. I did contact customer service and their response was for me to video my process and send it to them before they would do anything or explain a return policy. I wrote back saying that was ludicrous. My advice is to avoid this product.

Definitely a scam. Ordered a tablet because I stupidly googled best tablet on market and this came up, so without thinking to check reviews I ordered it. Thought something was funny when I didn't receive email to confirm payment of £189.00 straight away. The next day I got an email off Evri saying they were waiting for delivery. Two days later I got an email off Smileboxy to confirm order. Checked with Evri who said they had received it 2 days ago, but that was a week ago and it's still not turned up. Evri now say that I should check with vendor but I hesitant to do that in case I get scammed again

Definite scam. Ordered a Smileboxy e-reader a week ago and although there were 3 in stock the delivery never progressed with the courier Relay (which may also be a scam) reporting it was waiting for the package. I would normally do a bit more research than I did for this order but my old Kindle had just died a death. Ironically the old Kindle sprang back into life yesterday a day after I'd ordered a new Kindle from Amazon.

Zero help with poor quality product.

They review their own product on a separate website to improve their credibility.

Refund obtained through my own credit card company as they deemed the smileboxy company fraudulent.

Smileboxy is now pressuring for return of unit or face immediate legal action. The CD player is worthless and a lawyer's time would exceed the value in less than an hour.

Also Smileboxy.com are sailing very close and copying a name of another website (smilebox.com) which gets good reviews and quite so.

What i thought was a high spec tablet turned out to be nothing as described. Looks totally different none of the specs are the same just a cheap generic tablet. AVOID.

I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered one of their cd players. I usually do my research before I buy but I read a post describing the top 10 portable cd players and Smileboxy came up as number 1 with the reviews below applauding the product. It didn't occur to me that this was scam advertising set up by the company itself. The product is rubbish and although they advertise themselves as Smileboxy.uk it is obviously a Chinese company who refuse to give a full refund on a faulty product unless you return it to China which will cost you almost as much as you paid for it and they state if it doesn't get through customs they won't refund you anyway. Total SCAM. Stay away!

I ordered a £99 CD player from Smileboxy-uk.com.
The sound quality falls way short of the claims of “Stereo Sound Impact” and that the “Built-in Speakers Deliver Rich Audio”. The actual sound is very tinny, completely lacking any bass and sounds more like a 1980s transistor radio. The sound quality of my equivalent priced and sized JBL portable speaker is far superior.
I have requested a refund but have been advised I will have to meet UK delivery costs plus the cost of tracked return shipping to Hong Kong (estimated at £35.00) and will incur a 15% handling fee. I’ve also been told that the process will take 4 weeks and that I may receive nothing if my package is impounded by customs. Alternatively I have been offered the opportunity to keep the product and receive a 3% discount!
I’m now regretting not having visited this site before ordering as my experience seems typical.
I am referring this to the UK Trading Standards Authority.

Got caught by fraudulent reviews - and they advertise under smileboxy-ie.com but they are not an EU entity - only address in China - therefore should not sell online in the EU.

Check the scam adviser website before ordering online in the future.

I have learnt my lesson

Smileboxy for all intense purposes appears to be a scam. Tablet was ordered and immediately charged to my credit card but never delivered. Smileboxy is trying to blame postal service and public holiday for lack of response. Now offering only a 50% refund. USPS has issues with this company and product was never delivered. Please beware.
