I ordered a Beuchat Redrock wetsuit…

I ordered a Beuchat Redrock wetsuit from Nootica. I've never ordered anything from this company before but a few of my friends recommended them. I was initially apprehensive about ordering anything overseas but for the savings, I went for it. I was very pleased with the experience. I received my order in a timely manner and also saved a lot of money. The order came to my residence in perfect order--even the packaging appeared flawless -- hats off to DHL. Overall, I definitely would buy from Nootica, again.

From 10 to 0

First 2 deliverys went fine... More than fine terific!
But a few months back, they started to send email's asking for more shipping costs, some times only for a small device they start to ask 35 euros to deliver in a Portuguese Island, that's just nonsense, first too packages I pay 6.5 shipping cost, after that went Doble and now it's always a gamble we never know if they will charge u more, and to give back the money if u don't accept it takes ages.....
Something went wrong in that company I dunno what!

Ordered fishing braid line (power pro) web sight said suppliers in stock ordered line had email saying supplier waiting to resupply nightmare trying to cancel order as ordered from another company with cheaper postage and in stock will never deal with Nootica ever again.
Why do you make it so hard for your customers to contact yourselfs

Bad experience, wasted time and money. I do not RECOMMEND

I purchased the Aztron Falcon on September 29th. From NOOTICA. It came on time. I was so excited with the product when I first got it. I know nothing about boards. I had not ordered the Foil yet. The second time I use it, I am letting the others with experience in foiling at the beach check it out and they inform me (a beginner) that the foil box itself is crooked and the board will never be able to foil straight. Which will eventually be a problem for me and decrease its resale value mostly making it unable for resell. I contacted NOOTICA and asked for them to exchange the board. The replied in FRENCH. I had to deal with PAYPAL and the out come was not in my favor. I have to take more time out of my schedule now to find a place to ship the package back to France from California, box etc. I have to spend more money and will be out the shipping to return the faulty product. I wanted a discount on the Aztron Falcon that they sent me with the defect. So i could avoid wasting more of my time. I've spent hours on hold with PayPal dealing with this issue that is all because NOOTICA SENT ME A DEFEVTIVE BOARD and now THEY ARE NOT RESOLVING THE ISSUE THEY CAUSED by sending out a defective product to begin with. It is not an expensive board, but one would at least expect to get it without defects and especially a defect as significant as a crooked foil box....i have pictures too. I originally ordered the Aztron Falcon from OutdoorXL, through PayPal, they informed me before they shipped it but after the purchase of a deck pad issue, 10% was what they offered, I was grateful for their honestly but I declined, I wanted a board with no issues....but NOOTICA, a crooked foil box and they want me to pay....clearly the Falcon has some issues...two different places had defective boards...I would be satisfied with a discount from NOOTICA...so i can keep the defective board but not at my expense. This is the only resolution acceptable at this point. If they had exchanged boards with a return label that would have been worth my time with shipping...what they want and expect is ridiculous seeing as they SENT ME A DEFECTIVE BOARD AT FULL PRICE WITH NO WARNING>>>>i have pictures and emails of everything if I could id load them

Very bad experience. Never again!

10/11/2022 - I received my refund on 24/10/2022. I changed the review to 2 stars only for the refund commitment, but I recommend Nootica to change the shipping management.

14/10/2022 - With regard to the answer received from Nootica that you can read below, and it being understood that it is very serious that 24 days after shipment I still do not know where my package is, it is true that Nootica has offered me a refund. If and when I get the refund I will let you know and modify the review.

11/10/2022 - I made a purchase of fishing material and to date, after 21 days, I am still not able to tell me where the package is shipped. Schematically, for the use of those who are going to buy from this site, I report the steps:
- On September 20, 2022 they inform me that my package has been shipped, they provide me with a code to monitor the shipment but immediately the courier's website tells me that that code does not correspond to any shipment in progress;
- I wait a few days and on September 27th I ask if it is possible to monitor the shipment of the package. They answer me the next day saying, I quote verbatim: "Good morning, for our part the package appears to have been delivered to SDA and is currently in transit. I wish you a good day";
- I wait a few more days and on October 1, 2022 I send another message stating that the package has not yet arrived and on the courier's website it is still not shipped;
- They answer me on October 5, 2022, I quote verbatim: "Good morning, we apologize for the inconvenience, we have just contacted the carrier, we will answer you when we have an answer from them";
- I send a further message on October 7 asking if they had managed to contact the seller and the answer is, I quote: "Good morning, we apologize for the inconvenience, we are currently investigating with the courier to locate your package, we will return to you as soon as we have feedback from them";
- On October 10, 2022, exactly after 21 days and without any answer I ask if it is possible to have the refund, a practice provided as can also be seen from their site.
- They answer me on October 11, 2022, I report verbatim: "Hello, we have just contacted the agency in charge of your package. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the delay in returning the courier".
To date, after 21 days, not only has the package not arrived but they can't even tell me where it is. It is evident that there is a lack of willingness on the part of the company to solve the problem. I asked how to return the payment and they didn't even answer me.
I took all the screenshots of the messages and I just replied to their last message asking again for the return of the amount withdrawn already 21 days ago, let's see how this story will proceed, I am going to keep you constantly and abundantly updated through this and other review sites so that no one else can fall victim to certain sales policies anymore, of course, provided that in the meantime the situation is not resolved.
Forgot... I will keep you updated even if they no longer respond, updating this and the other reviews even 100 times if necessary.

After sales support is the greatest

You can see for your own that the prices are great, but my 5 star review goes to after sales. They are very helpful and they compensate with any request. I have ordered a SUP last summer. SUP came and I use it for the summer. I have a minor issue with the paddle and Nootica replaced it.
