If I could give zero I would
If I could give zero I would. Who in there right mind would pay an extra £100 a year ‘just encase’ they cannot collect. Also why am I paying them over £150 to do a tiny part of land nowhere near my land, I’ve never even touched the area yet now cause I’m a month late I’m getting constant cheeky emails from Ewan so called the unhelpful, rude debt person to the tune of around 7 today, letters galore the lot. It’s just another racket to make money off people to companies that do nothing. That’s about £10k a year from all houses for one patch of grass to be cut, why that needs a company and a full suite of staff is beyond me…. Should be on crimewatch!
I own my home, if I choose not to pay to have some grass cut nowhere near my home then I should have the option to not pay it, see if they cleaned or street swept then fine but money to a crook for nothing.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you are unhappy with both the maintenance charges and our credit control process.
Having reviewed the title conditions for the development, all homeowners are legally bound to contribute towards the maintenance and management of the communal areas. The title deeds specifically require proprietors to maintain the common amenity ground and contribute towards the associated costs, together with management charges and a float fund held for future maintenance expenditure. The £100 float is not a fee retained by the factor, but a fund held on behalf of homeowners for maintenance-related purposes and is refundable when a property is sold, subject to any outstanding balances.
The title conditions also provide for the appointment of a property manager to administer the development, collect contributions, arrange maintenance and recover unpaid charges where necessary. All owners remain liable for these costs regardless of whether they personally use or access the communal ground.
We appreciate that receiving reminders regarding an overdue balance can be frustrating. However, these communications are issued to recover sums due under the title conditions and to ensure costs are not unfairly borne by other homeowners.

Absolutely shocking factoring company
Absolutely shocking factoring company in Aberdeen. Never reply to emails and promise things that never materialise. Had experience of 2 property managers both as bad as each other. Had a meeting with them and residents a number of weeks ago and nothing has been sent as promised. Still awaiting very over due AGM that has been requested numerous times by residents. Charge a fortune but deliver nothing

Ruth McGowan answered promptly
Ruth McGowan answered promptly, explained the set up regarding direct debit monthly payments and even explained that I would receive legitimate third party correspondence in connection with the payments which I should dismiss as a scam. System now set up to allow me to manage my account more efficiently. Excellent service.

Residents Experience of Newton 25/26
Extremely difficult to get in contact with the agents either in the Aberdeen office or other offices, trying to get any work on the property even relatively minor fixes takes a long time to resolve, once you do get a hold of an agent.
Fees are high compared to other competitors in this market.

I had a problem with a tree being taken…
I had a problem with a tree being taken away and it was there for privacy into my back garden. Bruce arrived on my doorstep and after explaining the problem to him he assured me that it would be sorted. Very polite and very professional throughout the process from phoning to being assured it would be sorted

E-on's overcharging of electricity
Gavin was much help with contacting the electric company E-on about their odd bills with the buildings electricity and found that their weren't actually reading the meters just take blind guesses at how much electricity was being used.
