Napo Pet Insurance Arvostelua 

This is the second time I've had to put in a claim in the last 6 months as one of my dogs passed away back in March and 5 weeks ago my other dog had surgery for a ruptured cruciate ligament. The claims process with Napo has been easy, straightforward and hassle free which is what you need in times of upset when your pets are poorly. The communication I have had with Napo has been really good and although it has been by email or through the portal, it has been quick and claims have been sorted within hours. Would highly recommend Napo pet insurance.

I had to make a claim for my dog and the process was so easy. Just a couple of details and they deal with vets. Started the process on Friday had been paid for the claim on Monday so speedy was really impressed.

Our dog was screaming in pain on a Saturday night so we used the NAPO video call with a vet. During the video call the vet took her time listening to what we were saying and giving the dog a thorough check with us manipulating his leg joints she also puy my daughter at ease as she was very worried. It was Friday evening and our Cocker Spaniel, as they do, was chasing a wasp when it stung him on the nose. Within about 30 minutes, his nose had started to swell quite badly, and we weren’t really sure what we should do.

Luckily, my wife remembered that we were with NAPA, and that they had an online vet service we could contact. It was a great service. We were able to speak to a vet, who actually rang us back to say that she had an earlier appointment available. She gave us some advice on what to do, which was brilliant, especially as it was a Friday evening.

We followed the vet’s advice and put some salt water on his nose. We also tried putting an ice pack on it, although it was quite funny trying to keep an ice pack on the nose of a Cocker Spaniel — he definitely wasn’t impressed with that!

Thankfully, by the following morning the swelling had reduced considerably, and he was back to his normal self, running around like a nutter as usual.

It was a worrying situation at the time, but having access to the NAPA vet service meant we could get professional advice quickly and know that we were doing the right thing. It was a brilliant service and gave us great peace of mind.

A bit dubious at first due it being on-line and even though we paid the emergency vet bill on the day then requiring the vet to start the claim, but we followed the process and as soon as the vet confirmed the treatment we had our money back in our bank within 3 days. Excellent service with very polite and helpful e-mails from NAPO.

I had to use FirstVet today for the first time and found the service to be excellent. It's great that NAPO offer this free service as part of their insurance package and I would happily recommend it.

I honestly cannot fault Napo Pet Insurance so far. I had to claim for emergency surgery for my dog after a few days of him being ill. Just a very quick login and vet puts in all the details and they are paid.
