Efficient and timely dealing with claims.

I just feel that the cover is getting very expensive, I have top cover for Bailey and have had since he was 8 weeks old. But the excess outsides most claims. I think it would be hard to search for a more competitive cover for fear of going somewhere that hasn't looked after him. That said I maintain cover for potential issues which I believe can incur thousands of pounds, I am also grateful of the 24hr vet video line. I have recently started a flea and worn treatment that I pay for monthly from my vet after reading that some over the count preps aren't effective, perhaps that's something that you could offer tagged on to my pets insurance so a one off monthly payment to just Purely Pets could be made and that you could offer a small discount for the add on. I want to protect Bailey in the hope I never have to make any claim.

Easy to deal with and the vets can deal direct which is so helpful.

My claim was dealt with very quickly payment received within a week. This is important for the well being of the pet insured.

Purely pets have reduced my premiums, for a 6 year old healthy Boston Terrier. Admittedly they will require a 20% contribution to any claim i make at this age. Which hopefully I won't need to do. Thankyou

When we had to claim for investigative treatment and medication, then weeks later for end of life, you dealt direct with vets prompt and sorted the bill.
We are therefore returning to you to insure our new puppy.

the customer service reps were helpful on the occasions I called and the treatment of my claim was, with one exception handled to my satisfaction - this concerned the interpretation of why a heart scan was conducted on my dog. The scan was called for because the dog required to have a toe removed requiring a general anaesthetic and the vets needed to know if the dog could undergo this procedure. Your vets interpreted the reason for the scan as the dog having a heart murmur - he does indeed have a heart murmur but the scan was not conducted to discover the heart murmur - it was conducted to see if the dog could have a general anaesthetic - your vets disallowed the cost of the scan which I consider incorrect.

I've used Purely Pets for a few years now.
This past year I have had to make claims & each time their response has been quick. First an acknowledgement of my request, then payment shortly after. Or, an explanation as to why no payment could be given. I've contacted them a few times too and on each occasion the person I spoke to was friendly & very helpful.

Every year my premium was pushed higher and higher due to the age of my dog. When he died at the age of 12, I was told I couldn’t even get a claim for his death as he was too old. I was at my lowest due to the loss of my beloved pet and this company screwed me over

Really easy process and clear info on coverage

Couldn't jusitify to me an 18.5% annual increase for my x3 pets, without me ever making a claim! When do you ever get an 18.5% pay rise at work!!!
