Having to stop your parking session sucks. The only reason this would exist is for you to forget and end up paying max prices. Scam. Having to stop, download an app on one bar of signal, register, login, add payment details - THIS IS NOT SAVING TIME. It's a joke. An easy way for car park owners to pass on responsibilities and maximise profit from simply leaving your car on the ground somewhere.

There are so many problems with this app. I have had more tickets with using this. I tried to extend my stay, but the app wouldn't load. I tried to pay for parking and again, it wouldn't load. Yesterday, I got onto the app, went through the motions, and it said it had gone through, but I had a ticket when I got back to my car. When I looked at my phone,, it said there was an error. I think I will go pay to cash payment.

App doesn't work so ended up with a PCN 🤷‍♂️

Would be 0!! Just a badly run business!

Disappointed that there is a different rate for a carpark, when using the app versus the machine.
There should be a notification/warning

Used a car park near Wolverhampton train station in order to drop my Wife off for a visit to our Son in London,
Had difficulty in using the RingGo app, finally got on, or.so I thought and parked. When I got back to my cay well within the parking period, I had more difficulty in using the app to exit,
Took 10-15 minutes to get home, checked if money had been taken out of my account for parking, saw that it hadn’t.
In order to avoid any problems I paid for a session whilst I was at home and my car was on my drive. I did this to compensate RingGo for the session that the charge did not go through.
Went on the app to explain that the app had failed but it was VERY DIFFICULT to use. Had a ‘conversation’ with a bot Glen? but this was a waste of time.
I feel that the problem was not mine but the RindGo app, Why accept a £4.00 charge rather than a £100 fine.
RingGo is not fit for purpose,
Strangely though a visit to Sidmouth last week, the app worked perfectly on two occasions.
UNLESS I GET ANOTHER FINE. I will use cash from now on.
Be careful using this firm.

It's a bad company, I asked to stop a subscription that I sold the car and refund money, and then I bought another subscription for the new car... and they asked me for proof that I sold the car... it seems not normal to send proof.... only after 2 weeks I received confirmation that I sold I had no proof so far.. Ringo la tomberon

Terrible. Can’t log in to my account and advising that my car registration that I have had for a while does not exist. Just awful. Can’t speak to “contact us” as you need to be logged in and they won’t allow me to log in. My car is on my wife’s account on Ring Go but again can’t get to speak to anyone. I wish they were this inefficient when they charge you for the car parking. Should be wound up and closed down.

I have been a regular paying customer at the Macbean Centre car park since November 2025 and routinely used the RingGo system without issues. On one occasion, there appears to have been either a technical problem or failed payment recording, yet instead of applying common sense or reviewing my long payment history, I was issued with a £100 parking charge.

I provided months of evidence showing consistent payments at the same location for the same vehicle, but this was largely ignored throughout the appeals process. The entire experience felt extremely unfair and heavily weighted in favour of enforcement rather than genuine customer service.

The car park itself was poorly maintained, with uneven surfaces, dust, and potholes, and the payment process was not always straightforward. Looking online afterwards, I was surprised to see how many other customers reported similar frustrations with the system.

Very disappointing experience overall. Genuine paying customers should be treated more reasonably, especially where there is clear evidence of regular compliance and no deliberate attempt to avoid payment.

What a joke how long winded and frustrating. The app and phone is a total nightmare. Took me an hr to pay to park. Machine said pay when you leave but you can't you pay in advance so paid for 7 hrs later so I'll probably have a fine which I won't pay of course. Just put back the coin machines please!!!!!!! F...... useless!!!!!!!

Cannot use the app. After multiple attempts to activate an account I have never been sent an activation code. Total crap.

I can park perfectly well on the pc app.
The phone app fails to find my parking zone 47801 cpz ma. Then directs me to a useless chat line. I'm away from home and its more by luck than judgement that i have my pc with me.
For all the charges we get from these parking companies, the could develop a less disastrous mobile app.

First and foremost Forestry England should not be charging people to park in the New Forest, it is everyone's land to enjoy, no one should be charged to enjoy it, no better than Highway men. Of course this is in cahoots with Ringgo... tried to park at one of the forest car parks today but there was no signal (who would have thought, in the middle of nowhere)... I drove off and went home, but on reviewing the sign, which I had taken a picture of, it does say you can pay later, but that information isn't prominent enough, so to avoid getting a fine I'm having now to pay for parking I didn't use.

Absolutely appalling. Not fit for purpose! Tried to pay at location 24903 and made at least six phone calls to 02030460060 attempting to pay whilst at the site. Every time the voice recognition failed to recognise a very well known make of car or the colour and reverted to the start of the menu.
Retrospective payment is allowed on their website, so I attempted to do this on returning home, only to discover that you need to register or download an app.
Reluctantly attempted to register and this failed!
All of this was to pay a parking fee of £1 at a woodland site, where a simple honesty box used to suffice.
A complaint will be made to Lancashire County Council who operate the site. Ruined what should have been a pleasant day.

I’ve been using the app on a few occasions before. I’m now getting the message that my session has expired and there is nothing that I tried that managed to fix it. Tried a new password. Tried to reinstall the app. I managed to login on my home computer, but not on my phone which is of course what you need if you are on the road.

In addition to this, my wife’s account was hacked in the pastwith people accessing her account.

Very frustrating experience, which makes me hesitant to use again.

With so many bad reviews I'm not sure why RingGo are still allowed to trade. Parking at one of their car parks is frustrating and time-consuming. Our friends couldn't get an internet signal to use their app, so I used the phone number to register both cars. The automated response was unable to recognise 'Skoda' and we went round in so many circles. Surely technology can come up with something better than this. How elderly people are supposed to cope, I do not know. I will not be parking in one of their car parks again.

I've used this app a lot because the car park by my building uses it, but its a disaster:

1. No customer support.

2. Every refund option redirects to a page say "you can call the car park operator" which of course never connects to anything real. Literally they added a page with 8 options, that all redirect to the same "get lost" page.

3. Their tiers are 4 hours, 7 hours, 24 hours, intentionally making 8 hours (a working day) not possible.

4. No coordination with operators. I booked my parking ahead today, and then was turned away at the gate, and of course can't get a refund.

Trying to use this app for the second time in 3 days but it's impossible because you're supposed to get a verification code and I've tried email and SMS verify and neither works. Tried the "resend code' in both cases as well. Absolutely woeful. They literally couldn't care less about fixing this pathetic so called app which is often the only method remaining to pay for parking. It's been broken all week. If I gave my honest opinion of how crap ringgo is I'd probably be banned from trustpilot for abusive language. It literally doesn't get any worse than these clowns.
