Old run down bus, miss you bus and no refund or replacement, buyer beware, crappy service

This is the worse service every I'm a passenger stuck in Jacksonville FL suppose to be going to Atlanta and I have yet to get there I've been sitting here since 1:15pm and it's now 7:30pm

Worst company in England by far will leave kids stranded in the pooring rain and then hang up on you when you ask were your coach is expect atlesst 2 hour delays and rude staff who are stealing from you

Is my third time on this bus but is not realible always late at least 30 mn ,, bad exoerience

This is the worst service I ever been on !
1st the bus was late 40 mins leaving! And customer service said to me be glad it is not later!
2nd when transfered in Washington DC I took a 6 hr ride to nyc with ni ac! And it was like riding in a oven! And megabus will not compensate me for this horrible experience they want to try and appease me with a travel voucher at which I said I will never again use there service!

They don't allow refunds, regardless of circumstances.

i got a megabus ticket for the 12 july 2023 from london to liverpool for 10am, bus yy65vxl the driver a lady wasn’t nice at all, i came down to ask her where the toilet is, she just walked passed me nd was talking i didn’t really get what she was saying, i came down again the second time nd i was really pressed for someone who’s pregnant nd holding urine for that long, asked the lady kindly to describe where the toilet was she started shouting that she’s has told me before
she was the last driver that dropped us at the liverpool bus station, tried getting her name but her ID card was backwards she tuned it back

I visited Niagra on The lake, Canada on July 03 to July 04, 2023. My return was schedule for July 04 2023 at 6.30 pm. But unfortunately I had to return earlier due sudden news of one of my relatives sickness. So we( me and my wife) decided to come earlier and we saw the bus at 3.30 pm and requested the bus driver whether he can take us/ reschedule 3.30 instant of 6.30. Bus driver Mr. Akbar of Coach Canada( Mega bus) arrange to take us/ gave his best effort to take us. Really appreciate for his positive initiative. we will remember that. Many thanks to Mr. Akbar....

Hello, Complete garbage, I’ve been taking them on and off for the last 20 years .. to save a few bucks when tain too expensive . Ive always been late but I never complained , I understand that they can’t predict traffic. Last Friday I was stuck for an hour and half at the layover in Kingston on the way to Toronto due to bus driver replacement being late. Shows up late and starts being rude to everyone.. goes to see me in the middle of the parking lot about 20-30meters away from
Any entrance while I’m vaping to tell me to get away from him im polluting his air. Threatens me to not let me on bus… any further I’d be on the other side of the street.

If I didn’t need to get to toronto I could’ve said something but I shut my mouth and just walked away. He keeps on spewing garbage at me after showing up almost 2h late(for no reason, I’m polite and I follow rules as much as possible).

I get to Scarborough and the luggage guy put my stuff under the luggage for Toronto (not the end of the world), again same bus driver gives me
Hell and is suggesting I go pick
It up at the next stop in Toronto.

I asked for a refund and customer service completely neglected the whole message I sent them

I usually take the bus to Vegas. This is the most uncomfortable bus I have ever traveled on. I traveled through south America; Paraguay has better Bus then them. Shame on then they just put in people like cigarettes on these super thin sits super uncomfortable if you have a bad back beware. Usually takes me a couple of days to recover from my travels. I use for the convenient but like I said you beware of the uncomfortable bus; they also charge for upgrade absurd.

I had ordered a ticket for the service from Reading (Rail Station, North Entrance, Stop NC) at 2. May, 11:50 AM to Heathrow Airport.

The bus did not show up at all. I contacted the consumer service, but they ensured me that it "will come". I believed what they said, and waited until 12:40. At 12:40 I understood that this bus would not show up at all, so I tried to find another solution to get to the airport. Finally I found another bus, but I arrieved too late.

Terrible terrible terrible experience and horrible customer service back and provide with no results. I don’t even know where to start last month my $2000 luggage was damage. The wheel was busted off and my suitcase of crap suitcases last me a long time until it went on Mega Bus. I have called and complained and a ticket was made and I was told they would get back to me in seven business days. It’s been a month and I have been calling every week and they keep saying the same thing that someone will contact me. Well, it hasn’t happened. Secondly, I booked the wrong date today and I had called as soon as I realized before three hours and I was told it could be fixed and that she would send me an email with my new confirmation to my email and phone number. I get back home my Wi-Fi and realize I still not got an email to the new date. I called as soon as I realize there’s no new email. I’ve put on hold for 20 minutes just for them to say that they can’t do anything and that they can’t find the person I was talking to just because I can’t remember their name. They’re saying they cannot find the call there’s nothing that can be done so now when my money is just gone, my suitcase is just broken and busted. They don’t care about their customers. Let’s just say that problem-solving is not one of their strengths. Someone needs to be fired because I was lied to and took that I would get an email with a new ticket. This is unacceptable. I will never be riding with Mega Bus again I wish I could say differently, but I have never experienced anything like this.

I purchased a ticket online and I end up only using one way thinking I’ll get credit or credit will stay in my account but apparently I lost the one way credit due to it will only available 10 min to use which I didn’t know and didn’t pay attention. Called customer service and spoke to Melissa supervisor and spoke to another supervisor Sabrina and both supervisors didn’t want to help

I took this service for the first time. My trip was from Reading to London Gatwick by MegaBus Coach and the departure was scheduled at 11.20pm . The coach arrived in Reading on time and I could get my destination according to their scheduling. It was a very positive experience. The negative evaluations from other travelers have not been occurred in my case. For sure, I will take again this service as a cheaper and convenient alternative than the railways also because I am fed up with continuous rail strikes and their service disruptions.

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. Megbus has no sympathy for emergency situations. They will not refund a ticket if something comes up and you are unable to travel and they also won't even leave it us a credit for a future date. They will allow you to change it for another date before your travel date for a small fee, but if you don't know when u will be able to travel again then u loose your money. No refund and No credit! Hope stealing people money makes them rich! Will NEVER use a service this inflexible

My letter to Megabus: Hello, Welcome back to Northern California. I have been a loyal customer since 2010 ish and have always been happy with your service and was sad to see you leave several years ago.

Unfortunately, on Tuesday May 16, 2023 your second day back to serving Sacramento to San Francisco. I missed my first bus due to your new track my bus feature. Unfortunately, it was not accurate with glitches which cause me to miss the bus all together.

So I re-booked later that same day and your new tracking feature worked flawless. I had the perfect experience.

I was wondering if you would be able to refund my first booking or even a credit voucher would be nice as I already have future trips planned.

I am sorry to hear you missed your bus!    I understand you are requesting that refund be provided, however as outlined and stated in in the terms and conditions prior to proceeding with the purchase, all ticket sales are final.  

We suggest that all passengers be at the bus stop location 15 minutes before boarding to ensure timely boarding as we cannot hold the doors open for passengers who are unable to make their trip.

Once our driver completes loading passengers onto the bus, the doors are shut and the parking brake is released, and the bus departs. 
While I apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced, we are unfortunately unable to provide you with any compensation ( refund, credit) as the service was executed.

Megabus, definitely has issues they need to resolve in regards to good customer service and having buses that are more comfortable. However, I had to book a seat for my husband last week from Atlanta to Jacksonville. My husband is legally blind, but can see at very close range in most cases. Due to my own health issues, I wasn't able to drive to Georgia to bring him back home. I made the reservation with an agent, who in turn made the notations in the computer of my husband's issue. My husband mentioned to me that he didn't understand why the staff was so accommodating to him. He said a male staff member asked him to verify his name and immediately ushered him to the location where he'd board his bus and waited with him until the bus arrived. My husband said "Stephen", the driver assisted him from that point, and also handled him with kid gloves. It made his trip, however, narrow the seats were and the sticky armrest, a little more bearable. A little kindness and a smile from someone goes a long way. Thank you, staff in Jacksonville for taking of of my husband.

They have gotten expensive but I ride Nonstop from Atlanta, Ga to Jacksonville Fl. Cheaper than flying. Only 6 hours but I have learned what to expect. Buses are clean but they don’t take care of them. AC did not work this trip upstairs in May. Only a few few phone chargers at the seat work and you need a plug in wall type charger. Driver was clean, nice and courteous. The bus is usually on time. The internet does not always work if you want to work on your computer. But I make the best of it. President of company and other big money grubbing executives at the company don’t care just like other corporate American companies. The nice thing is no one hardly rides it anymore on this route since they tripled the price. You can’t get a refund or credit if your plans change. It is a 10.00 fee every time you change the trip and now a 4.00 booking fee. Like I said, I have riden it a few times so I know what to expect now.

I had a round trip from NYC to Washington Dc and DC - NYC. They try their best to maintain time i will defend give credit to them. But I am really disappointed with maintaining minimum hygiene. After a trip I didn’t see anyone going in and do cleaning. The seats are terribly dirty. It is so dirty it is turning black.
Also the agents are not very helpful. At the time of return I had reservations for 7:20 for 4people. I called the customer service and the lady over the phone confirmed there is available seat so I can go the field agent and pay $5 each person to have the bus change. But when I went to the agent they didn’t even bother to look into the system not even pretend 😅, just said all tickets are sold. I am not sure who is right or wrong! So I decided not to take the risk and get in at 7:20bus.
