Extremely professional service, home buyers survey was very thorough and let me know exactly what to expect, and gave me views of the house/internals which could not be achieved simply by viewing the property.
Communications were very rapid and obviously taken seriously, whilst also being polite and helpful.
The personalised 80+ page report was finished and sent to me ONE working day after the survey being undertaken (surveyed Friday, received the report the following Monday), literally couldn't ask for better service.

I’d had an interest in living in Caerleon, Gwent for some time and imagine my excitement when I thought I’d found my dream home on Yopa. Following a viewing I put in an offer based upon the fact the property had recently been renovated and had a stunning view of the river Usk and Caerleon town.
Due to the age of the house (1920s) and obvious recent renovation work I asked Meadow Consultants to undertake a full Structural Survey. While on the face of it the cost was high, the survey proved to be worth every penny. So thorough was the review that numerous issues/risks were identified. I already knew that the property disposed of its untreated foul waste directly into the river Usk but the survey identified problems with non-compliance with building regs, poor building practices and numerous other safety/environmental hazards. Whilst the Vendor wasn’t prepared to negotiate any significant savings I also realised for myself that the Vendor had come in and done a quick and nasty makeover. The purchase never went ahead.
Please note it’s worth paying a little more for a RICS L3 Full Structural Survey of an older property because it can give you ammunition to renegotiate or save you plenty of heartache going forward when the costs to bring it up to standard are well in excess of what you can afford.

Met up with Ben at Chapel. He was there early and had completed the outside survey before I arrived. Polite and very friendly. As we visited the inside of the Chapel, he explained to me the why we were experiencing the problems we had. Everything was done professionally. He then went on to tell me what will happen next and who I will hear from. Thanked me for my time.

I cannot speak too highly of this company and one of its employees, David Crean. Mr Crean came out to my property to assess some potential damage to my brickwork, caused by some subsidence. During this time I was having a dispute with the insurers about the cause of the problem. Owing to Mr Crean's support, integrity and professionalism I was able to resolve the matter in a positive way. During his visit and during all later discussions he was always extremely approachable and knowledgeable, and I would have no hesitation in recommending him or any firm that he works for.

I was directed through to Meadow Consultants through my mortgage advisor. I had requested for a Home Buyers Survey as there were a few points within the property that were causing concern and I wanted to put my mind at rest that I was making a good decision.

From the beginning, I was kept up to date about the appointment for the survey between Meadow Consultants and the Vendor, communication cannot be faulted. I was invoiced and I received the full 51 page survey, including advice, photos and in depth explanations within 4 working days. This has been invaluable to me so far and I will keep it for future considerations of work that may / may not be required in the property.
I also found that it was in language that was easy for me to understand, as I am not from a property/development/conveyancing background I was concerned that there would be parts that I would not follow, but the pictures and descriptions were very easy to understand. THANK YOU

They did my survey for me and picked up on all of the relevant points that helped me to renegotiate on the house price as well as helping me identify the works that needed to be done to remedy the defects in the house.

I recently commissioned a full building survey from Meadow Consultants for an investment property. The team were very efficient and always replied to emails/ calls quickly, and I was extremely pleased with the building survey report, which was thorough, detailed and very helpful.

Dealing with Meadow Consultants has been a pleasure. David is friendly and knowledgable about his field and when tasked with a case that many others had turned down, he was helpful throughout the entire process. Despite us being in lockdown, he was flexible when it came to arranging the property visits and these were completed timely and safely. The findings and reports were provided relatively quickly following the visits in a clear, well written report which was easy for all involved to understand. Should we require a Chartered Surveyor again in the future, I'll look no further than Meadow Consultants.
