1ST & LAST TIME ORDERING FROM HERE. Awful aftercare once ordered. My dog went without her special food (paying 80 euro for a bag of food is expensive for me, i'm disabled). Our dog is lactose intolerance. And can only eat sensitive burns food. Or gets badly sick. So, they not only wasted my time but put me in a position where I'd to pay double the cost to get it delivered that day. Leaving me on a Friday without the order even dispatched is TOTALLY unacceptable when I ordered Wednesday morning. I wouldn't of minding waiting until shipped but still today when I checked it hasn't even being packaged.

Thankfully, I got a refund without any issues from a very understanding rep. (Thank you Martin). Except being out nearly the cost of what I paid for the food to be delivered (50euro) and now. It's a pity they didn't show as much care to the order as the reps do. Obviously they're well use to dealing with a lazy shipping department.

I've to wait through the weekend -80 euros 130 for a bag of dog food (all to save 4.50). I should of just stuck with my reliable delivery service Petstop.

The fact that you offer a delivery service to the door, & have an efficient follow through customer query service too.
My sister is a healthcare worker so knowing her animals are fed well, when at work, is important. She loved the german brand of food from Maxi and the value.
However, the personal touch like the delivery guy that usually delivers her order already knows she could be busy inside her home and always calls her name out, after ringing the door bell, to get her attention. Also, I love the fact we get an image of the delivery too for a piece of mind. For us this company is efficient, great value for money and the staff amazing, we go to the Dundalk store and they are always so polite and helpful. 5/ 5 all round.

Deliveries are always very quick. Only at the last order there was an internal hiccup I think and it got cancelled. The money was quickly refunded and I just re-ordered. Customer service was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely continue to order online.

The online store is completely unreliable. Placed an order for cat food, for an email the following day to say 2 items were out of stock and a refund would be given. The following day, the entire order was refunded but yet the items are still in stock and available to buy on the website.

Just a complete waste of time.

Edit: 3 days after making the order, I get an email stating the whole order is cancelled as items out of stock and no date when they will come back in stock. As of right now, the items are shown as in stock on their website (like they were 2 days after the order). Like I said, this is an unreliable site and in particular if you are looking for something urgent it could cost you a lot of time.

Was a customer of maxizoo for past 4yrs and used to enjoy going there every week with my dog. That was untill today when my dog had a small accident ( widdled) and the girl Roiseen who was on literally attacked me. And then to make things worse she started complaining to another customer about what happened and then the customer
( who I think might have been a friend of hers) followed me to the back of the store and attacked me for saying , " these things happen unfortunately with dogs ". I may also add its a very small dog. I offered to clean up if she got me some kitchen roll but she said she had none or a mop and she said she hadn't one of those either and told me it wasn't part of her job. I said I'd clean but she went off in a huff.
I'd never ever shop in the Mullingar store again. Shame because up.untill today I would rate all the staff i met In past 4yrs very nice and so helpful but I'm afraid 1 bad experience like that has ruined my experience in the Mullingar shop.

Every single maxizoo no matter where in the country I go every single aquarium has at least two dead fish in it if they don’t even care for the animals they sell how do you expect them to care about your animals health it’s a complete disgrace

Super fast delivery every month. They handle any issues promptly and politely and actually call you back to follow up. Customer service is lovely

I always find dealing with Maxi Zoo very easy and pleasant and if anything is below par their customer service is swift to apologise and rectify the situation.

Ordered the correct food and the food was delivered in 2 days. Excellent service.

I have used Maxi Zoo on two occasions to purchase my specialist dog food. Very competitive price, superb service and website very easy yo navigate. Well done the Maxi Zoo team.

I ordered the dog food as I received a 10% discount from Maxizoo as it was my GSD 3rd birthday which I thought was great & it was delivered the next day which was brilliant.
The only thing is that the morning after I'd ordered the dog food I received an email stating a 25% discount for the Select Gold range from July 18-21 ! Which equates to am extra €10 off of what I paid.

Great service got what i ordered....just wish delivery was a bit faster.....I ordered dogfood on Monday didn't receive it until the Friday....I was panicking as I was running out of food...not good when you have two heads looking at you...😁

This is a very good online shop. The product I purchased was slightly cheaper than the in-store price, it was available in the quantity I needed, and the delivery was very prompt.

I did an online order and waited for delivery. After 2 weeks I emailed Maxi Zoo only to be told my order had been cancelled and I had been refunded. I checked and the refund did go into my bank, so that was ok. But the excuse was there was a glitch on their website and the items I ordered were not available. They should have sent an email to let me know, but they didn't. This is the third time I have had issues with Maxi Zoo so I am not using them again.

We recently went to Maxi Zoo in Waterford to get some bits for our new addition Benny the Jack Russell terrier.

On arrival into the store we got greeted by the lovely Aiste who couldn’t have been anymore helpful to us and guided us through every essential we needed for our boy.

She was so kind and made our visit so enjoyable! Will definitely be back to the store again!
